Nice team you got there. Brilliant choice at starting QB. You should've picked up Terrell Owens in the 2nd round when you had the chance, you would've had one of the best QB/WR connections in the game had you done so.

I figure Emmitt Smith might be some sort of good with him chasing that rushing record, I'm not too sure how that'd work out fantasy-wise. Aren't they gonna limit his time once he breaks that record? Ron Dayne, I dunno, I could probably ship him off for someone else. Only reason he's starting is because I benched Alstott in favor of him, which might not have been a good idea. I could check around the league to see what I could find, or I could put Alstott back in Dayne's spot.

I figure Dunn is gonna start early in the season. I picked up Duckett to add an extra backup RB as I have two backup RBs which I need. Is Duckett worth giving up for James McKnight though?

I see where you're coming from there. I didn't buy all that many Madden games on SNES and Genesis, maybe about three or four. I did get Madden 99 on N64 as a Chrismas present in 1998 and enjoyed it, it was a pretty good game for an N64 football game, at least in my opinion that is. Madden's best stuff, IMO, is still to come now that they've made the jump to systems like the PS2, XBox, etc.

DeShaun Foster has a lot of upside to him, he could very well win the starting job in Carolina over Lamar Smith. If he does, he could produce some good numbers, it's a possibility I myself wouldn't rule out. This is one of a few fantasy teams that I have. Tell me how this team looks in your opinion.. Mark Brunell - QB Terrell Owens - WR Jimmy Smith - WR Keyshawn Johnson - WR Emmitt Smith - RB Ron Dayne - RB Freddie Jones - TE Martin Gramatica - K St Louis - DEF Bench Joey Harrington - QB Mike Alstott - RB Peter Warrick - WR Santana Moss - WR Eric Johnson - TE DeShaun Foster - RB I figure I probably need to upgrade my team at the QB spot maybe. What do you guys think?

Thank you. I'll try out that combination and see how it fares. I threw in Bryant Young to add a fourth guy as I am starting four defensive players.

That I agree with.

I have been wondering which of these games I should get first, since I am getting some money pretty soon. I am leaning a bit towards Madden as Madden has been one of the top football games for a long time and rarely disappoints. 2K3 on the other hand looks amazing itself. Tough choice really.

most painful looking moves done on a wrestling VG

Mexican Stretch Bomb - That one looks like if it were done incorrectly, it could snap the neck of the person taking that move. -
They did that to a lot of people in the SNES days. Is it me or did some of the Sega Genesis versions of Madden suck ass? Like Madden 96 for example.. As far as Madden 2003 being a significant improvement over 2002? I sure as hell hope so, I wasn't all that impressed with 2002, I hope 2003 is an improvement.

How nice of you to come up with that.

Here's the defensive scoring system: Statistical Categories (Defense Players): Tackle Solo (0.5) Sack (3) Interception (3) Fumble Force (2) Fumble Recovery (2) Touchdown (6) Safety (5) Pass Defended (1) Block Kick (4)

Test/Taker - the match everyone should be looking forward to? I agree, the fans should look forward to a break to go to the bathroom, get food, drinks, etc. That will be WMON (Worst Match of the Night) by far. That match will not even come close to being MOTN with Benoit-RVD, especially with Benoit and RVD wrestling on that card.

How is that gratuitous sex? Edit: As for the subject, I am not surprised a guy like Rome would even make comments like that. It's just ignorance at best.

No Mercy

I hope that's not your main reason for ordering Summerslam. As for the topic itself, I won't be ordering Summerslam, mostly because I don't have the money to shell out to order it.
-
lol That was nicely put.

Who should I start? Reason I'm even asking is because I'm a bit unsure of which four to go with for my starters. I have Young, Kearse, Hardy and Duncan starting right now unless I change it. All eight guys I have are talented, it's just which guys I should start is what I am trying to figure out.

Good times indeed.

That is not bad at all. I like the WRs you picked up, especially Smith and Boston. Nice defense too.

I would've gone with either Dillon or Williams in that case. Taylor could get injured again this season and could cost your team big, especially if you have any intention on starting him. And then there is the flipside where Taylor could finally stay healthy and play a full 16 game schedule without any injury. He's risky to say the least. What does the rest of your team look like?

Isn't that game due out next year around Spring?

And you like baseball more? Complaining about the "stop and go" pace in football is totally ridiculous coming from a baseball fan, considering that baseball itself is "stop and go" to an extent, except it's worse in baseball. Baseball moves at it's own pace, generally without something stupid stopping it dead for minutes at a time, like a TV timeout, or a penalty, or a Coach's Challenge, or 20 minutes of Halftime, or whatever. It irritates me when I'm watching a Football game and they're moving along and then ten yellow flags get thrown all over the field, teh coach challenges the call, which takes about 5-10 minutes fo we the viewer getting to watch the same fucking thing from 40 angles over and over. Oh the excitement. The Supperbowl took over 4 hours and the only really exciting part was the last drive of the game, watching the Rams get their asses kicked wasnt too exciting to me. Baseball is stop and go by the nature of the sport, Football keeps adding more and more stupid rules to slow the game down to stretch the ratings out a little further. The coaches challenges are there for a reason, reason they put those there was to keep whatever team from getting screwed out of a bad call, like an incomplete pass. That has and has not worked in some cases. Watching the Rams get their asses kicked in the Super Bowl was exciting to me, mostly because I hate them and wanted to see them lose so badly. While baseball might be stop and go by the nature of the sport, football is technically the same way. They run a play, stop, draw out the next play, and move right along. And we're not counting the other stuff, like penalties, coaches challenges and such. All sports do have a "stop and go" nature to some degree.

You picked up Boston and Jimmy Smith as two WRs and you have Donovan McNabb throwing to them, that is really not bad at all for your first few picks. You really should've waited on getting Fred Taylor with him being injury prone and all. What other RBs were available when you got him?
