Make sure you get ROund Robin challenge, Crowning a champion and road to the title. You cant go wrong with any of those. I would also get The era of honor begins. Just because it was the first ever show. It has an awesome three way though dragon/daniels/ki. ChUnK!

Apparently RF are only doing a fancam of it. According to Elisar, the FWA version will not be out till the end of June, and that will only be part one. Sounds like a long wait. But Id rather wait than have a fan cam. A fan cam wont do the show justice. ChUnK!

Awesome. Let us know what you think of it. I'll try and get a more detailed report written, if I get a chance. ChUnK!

I posted here as I thought i would get a quicker response than in the tech folder. I dont want to turn off my pc incase that worsens the situation. please help if you can. thanks.

Where abouts are you from? The US version is scheduled to be released by RF video on the 31st of this month. Hopefully the UK version will be out at the same time. ChUnK!

It was an awesome show indeed. MissIndy, the results have allready been posted, so I won't do it again. I can thourougly recomend the tape to anyone. The York Hall was packed with about 900 people, and the atmosphere was out standing. A few spots were botched at vital moments, but apart from that everything lived up to the hype. (Jonny missing the chair shot and Lynskey screwing over styles after the springboard 450 splash, for example). Highlights of the night included: AJ Styles hitting a spring board 450 splash to pin Jonny Storm. Nikita diving off the 20 ft balcony. Jody Fleish hitting a springboard (off a chair) hurricanrana on Daniels, on the ramp way! Alex shane putting one of the family (i forget who) through a table off the ramp way. Paul Travell hitting a Tornado DDT off the entrance way scafholding (which must have been a good 12-15ft high) to Alex Shane. And many many more. I highly recomend anyone picking up the tape if they can. Low Ki/Barker was very stiff but neither man busted out anything huge. This might have been due to Ki's injured shoulder, but ive got a feeling it was deliberately booked like this. Alex Shane did a similar thing with Lynn/Williams at Uprising. He hyped it big time and then only gave the match about 15 minutes (roughly). He then booked the 30 minute iron man between the two guys, a couple of months afterwards. I've heard Alex talking about how he wants Flash Barker to make the trip to ROH in the states, and so I think we could be treated to Barker/Ki round two in the near future. Should be awesome That match could make people take note of Barker, and hence get him some international bookings. Lets hope so. Awesome night. Check it out if you can. ChUnK!

I think I can manage that for ya! Someone else is bound to do it aswell. There will be a tape of the show, but it will probably only be in PAL format, so your VCR might not play it. ChUnK!

Just bumping this thread, because the show is tommorow. I dont think many people stateside appreciate the size of this show. Not only is it the biggest show in British Wrestling history, but it will also be the biggest show in ROH history. Alex Shane made a good point the other day on this subject. What is the largest audience that ROH has ever drawn? Does anyone know the exact figure? As far as I know its around 500-600. Well this FWA/ROH show sold 400 tickets on the first day alone!!! The expected attendence is between 800 and 1000, making it the largest ROH show ever! I dont think ROH or many American fans appreciate the size of this show! ChUnK!

I agree, its getting a bit lame. Fair enoughs ome people don't like Barber. But do you have to bash him in every thread. He may be an ass and may have been banned elsewhere, but if he makes a decent post, is there any need to bash him for it?

You Philly residents are just spoiled with too much choice

Fair enough if thats what his matches in the BY were like. I cant comment, as I havent seen the BOBY tapes. It just annoys me when people tar everyone with the same brush, when it comes to BYW. Its not all like the stuff on the BOBY tapes. ChUnK!

Match made in ... heaven???

I dont really agree with that at all. Doesn't wrestling in the backyard show that you have a genuine passion and love for profesional wrestling. So much so that you are willing to take bumps on hard ground and take the effort and time to set up your own 'promotion'. Fair enough, when BYW consists of just crazy stunts, then you can criticise. However, not all BYW promotions are like this. When they involve storylines and 'safe' wrestling, where is the real harm in them. Yes there's a danger, but no more so than by playing footbal or hockey. I know the BOBY tapes are based around the crazy stunts, but not all pro wrestlers with a BY background were involved in groups like the ones seen on those tapes. People judge Backyard wrestling to quickly in my opinion.

whats the x1 bit mean? Like 15 x 1, is 15 patties, but whats the 1 stand for?

I cant decide between the two. I drink and like both. The only split I have is that Regular coke is better than regular Pepsi, and Pepsi Max is better than diet Coke. Vanilla Coke has just come out over here in the UK, and its awesome.
