I did read he was going to be more of an "impact player" in 2003 for ROH (I think in a Rob Feinstein interview) in the press over here. I cant see it happeneing though. The FOH show makes it seem a possibility, but Somoa Joe isnt coming over for that show, so he wouldnt be able to win it back anyway. ChUnK!

I started the game with a new backyard fed, o% image and $1m in the bank (see my post a page or so ago). Anyway, I just wanted some tips. I hired, what I think, is a good few workers. * M-Dogg 20 * Ulf Herman * James Tighe * Hade Vansen * Sonjay Dutt Im putting on good shows of around 45% and ive got upto 49 once. Feuds are building nicely, the guys are getting over and the title is getting a good image. The only thing is im running out of money, and the TV companies have no interest in my promotion what so ever. My image is on 2% and ive increased production to 10% What makes things worse is that the talent now all dont want to renew their contracts because they want to go to a bigger promotion. Ive got one month before im broke, have no talent and no tv contract. Any advice? Also, I regularly get my matches to rate in the high 70%s and even 80s. Is this good? The thing is the fans can never give a shit and bring the ratings way way down. Any advice for making the fans get into it a bit more? ChUnK!

Im not sure where you can d/l it from, but im pretty sure it will be a clipped version if you can get hold of it. The show (Revival) was never released on tape, and the only version of it you can get hold of, is from the heavily clipped Bravo show of the event. While, I wasnt there live, I can practically guarantee that the taped version wont do the full match justice. ChUnK! Actually, SST were selling copies of Revival at either Crunch or New Frontiers. I dunno about that. Over here in the Uk, you can get Cotton Candy flavour soda. It takes about two mouthfulls before you feel like your teeth are about to fall out becuase it is sooo sweet. As for dnL, when I first tried it I thought it tasted like washing up liquid, and it looks the same to. The more you have it though, the better it gets. ChUnK!

Try and get hold of some tapes. I know it means parting with cold hard cash, but when it comes to ROH tapes, its unlikely you will be dissapointed. Heck, id trade them to you, but i only have Pal format unfortunately. ChUnK!

He says he has just bought a new DVD player that disables macro vision automatically when you copy to VHS? Id never heard of this before, but he says I can use it to copy to VHS if I like. As touched on earlier, this isn't really a problem confined to ROH but it's symptomatic of US independent wrestling as a whole. I for one think it's a shame when death moves are used as transitions. I couldnt agree more. When a move like the burning hammer becomes played (and it cant become too long before that happens) you know you have problems. ChUnK!

Damn yeah, you should have gone. I do remember some of the matches. Look back at the thread for the whole card. The wrestling wasnt brilliant but the main event wasnt bad at all. I saw a blade job from ZenZen coming from a mile away, and he just sooo wants to be Austin its unreal The Xecutioner was over as hell with the girls there, but someone said it was prom night, so not many people made it to the show. The ring announcer was a nice bloke and gave us a shout out for being frm the England. Wild cat Scoby Gober took a sick chair shot, and he still looked dazed during the interval. Speaking of intervals, there were two of them? Watsupwivdat? It was a good night, a lot of the fans seemed a little marky, but I would go again in a shot if I could Youll have to keep me up tp date with there upcoming shows, I hear Kamala is working the next one, I havent seen him in years lol ChUnK!

I'm lucky enough to be making it over to Texas for a couple of weeks between the 4th and 17th of August. I would really like to watch some live wrestling while im over there. I dont really care what it is, as long as I can get there without too much travelling. Im staying in houston. I know that the Texas Wrestling Academy exists in San Antonio (right?) and I have heard that Dory Funk and a few other guys run the odd show in Texas.
