Speaking of Dark Angel, does anyone know why the hell it got axed? I thought it was good. Does anyone know where I can read where it was going (story line wise). ChUnK!

Really? I thought it would be higher, shows what fashion sense I have Well I don't have very much personal fashion sense either. Well walmart type places are below the nicer department store type places which are below Old Navy. However, Old Navy is right below mall clothes stores which are 2 or 3 notches under Versace. So Old Navy is probably a 5, maybe as high as a 6. Im with you now lol. Sort of like, you wouldnt get laughed at in the street for wearing Old Navy, but you wouldnt get fashion writters coming up to you and complimenting you on what your wearing either lol ChUnK!

I went to this show in the end. It wasnt bad at all. The wrestling wasnt great, but the fans were into it in a sort of markish way (well most of them anyway). The people there though, were some of the most hospitable people I have ever met, and really made sure I left with a positive image of the promotion. Did anyone else go? Conspiracy Victim, did you? Where you the guy shouting abuse at the yound Justin kid? lol ChUnK!

It certainly is. I tlooks like people are finally taking note of us on this side of the pond. With WWE realising that there biggest growing market is over here in the UK, ROH coming over for FOH and now this, it seems like a good time to be a wrestling fan in the UK. (Lets not forget the awesome British Wrestling we are also now getting more of). ChUnK!

I have a quick question re: EWR I wanted to start a promotion of my own and take it from backyard all the way to the top. (Easier said than done I know). Anyway, im not sure what a far amount of money and publicity is to start off with. I put everything to 0 and started a game. I lasted one show (which got a 42% rating, which I didnt think was too bad for a first show with 5 workers). However, after that show I went bankrupt. Does anyone know how to start the game with a new promotion (no workers) and a fair amount of money (that the game sets etc). If no, what would you deem as a "fair" starting point to start the game on. Cheers, ChUnK!

I thought it was pretty hard to choose between them. But after all the possibilities we could of had, I think its a weak final. The fact that Faith has just returned to Angel over here in Engalnd meant that she just pipped JLH to the win, for me at least ChUnK!

Im not sure where you can d/l it from, but im pretty sure it will be a clipped version if you can get hold of it. The show (Revival) was never released on tape, and the only version of it you can get hold of, is from the heavily clipped Bravo show of the event. While, I wasnt there live, I can practically guarantee that the taped version wont do the full match justice. ChUnK!

I went to an old navy while i was on holiday, and i thought it was pretty damn good. I wish we had some over here in the UK? I got some kick arse jeans for $20 (about £14) which is incredibly cheap in comparison to English prices. Having never heard of it before, I wouldnt know, but how fashionable a label is it? I mean if Versace was 10 and Wal mart was 0, what would Old Navy be? (Im not sure what cheap un-fashionable labels you guys have in the states, so feel free to switch walmart with another company, it was just to give you an idea of what I meant) ChUnK!

Really? Could you get that from one shot to the ear? I thought cauliflower ear was when blood built up in the ear (making them look swolen). I know rugby players get it from continous rubbing during the scrum, but I dont think its possible to get it from a one off occasion. That was more likely just a swollen ear, from bruising etc. ChUnK!

lol I didnt, because Ive only just got back from Holiday and I wasnt here to get to the show. British Breakout is the name of there tour, the first date of the tour was last night at Ware (london) I assume thats the one you meant. All of the other dates are too far away from me to go to, apart from next thursdays one in Acton, but I cant go to theat either because of it being on the Thursday. I hope this tour goes well for them, as its the first time theyve been on the road, its a shame I couldnt go to any of the dates, because I would have really liked to. Did you go? Did anyone on the board go? ChUnK!

You have to see that match. It is the best Jody/Jonny match I have seen. It might be hard for you to get hold of it if your in the USA, but their match from WrestleXpress wasnt half bad either. ANdy, I cant blame you for the nit picking lol. The amount of times I have seen it spelt Jodie are also too many to count. ChUnK!

Hell yeah Ive heard of the FWA. Ive been pimpin them for a while on this board now I honestly believe they are one of the best promotions in the world right now. And I can thoroughly recomend anyon epicking up British Uprising. Click here to buy it (PAL format). As far as James Mason goes, I read recently that him and Alex have been getting on lately, and we may soon see him in the FWA. I believe that the price for FOH has gone down to £55 due to an un expected booking fee with Ticket master. It sounds like a lot of money, but the York Hall provides a great view no matter where you are, and you could easily pick up £10 tickets and have a great view of the action. £10 for the atmosphere that the Uk fans will provide on that night will be well worth it. Speaking of the UK fans I think they are a big part of the FWA. Curry, you make a good point when you talk about their blind loyalty, but the fans at FWA shows are pretty damn smart, and provide a very unique atmosphere that Jerry Lynn has compared to the ECW fans of old. I hope that the FOH show forces fans accross the water to take note of the FWA more. They really are an excellent promotion and provide some of the best wrestling around these days. I see your point, Curry, about lack of main eventers. But take nothing away from Johnny, Jody and Doug, they fill that role very well. I dont think this will be such a problem in the future either. The link with XPW means that Jerry Lynn is become more of a perminant, and Birchill is bound to be pushed all the way to the main event. I can see a monster puch for James Tighe on the way soon as well. Which will give th emiaon event plenty of new bloos. Just for fun, what do some of you guys from accross the pond think of the FWA? How well known is it, and what is the general opinion of it? ChUnK!
