If you've seen my thread requesting the odd vcd cover, you will know all about this graphic. Otherwise, I've basically had a go at making a VCD cover for CZW: COD2.
Its my first ever attempt at fully using paint shop. I think the Lobo pic could be moved up a little bit, but I didn't know anything about layers of anything so I cant really move it that easily without making the whole thing again (at least I dont think I can - can I?).
Anyway, give it a rating and some constructive criticism if you have it.

Ive also just found a small promo video that the station made. Its not much, but you can check it out here.

If you read Sandman9000's preview of TOD2, then that would be a good place to start. He gives a broad description of how it started and how it lead into TOD2.

I think it is what they are planning on having in the corner of the screen all the time the channel is on. (The bottom left corner to be specific.)
As with all this info, at this stage, its all very first draft and nothing is for certain. However, I think it looks pretty good.

I've just made a post over in General Wrestling about the wrestling channel. I hadn't seen this one, but i've just read over at themayhem.com the channel will be debuting in October. so only 2 months now till we'll have wrestling goodness on our screens 10 hours a day.Seen as it apears to be carrying mostly indy stuff, I thought I would post it here.
On top of the debut date, a logo has been released for on-sceen stuff, I cant remember where I saw it though. Ill post it when I find it again.

Ok, first off let me say I dont like the idea of starting a complete thread solely about myself.
This would probably be better answered in the Misc folder, but with it being more active I dont want to clutter it up with topics of this nature. If you think it should be there, then move it for me.
Anyways, heres the deal. Myself and some others are planning a trip to the USA next year. It will be for a couple of weeks and will be in April time.
Nobody really cares where abouts we go, but I would like to take the opportunity to get in some live wrestling if possible. I would prefer to see some top US Indy names/promotions and/or maybe a raw/smackdown or wwe house show (I know the chances of that are slim).
With that in mind I'm basically asking anyone from the USA for suggestions of locations to visit.
The location must meet these few criteria. It must be a 'hot bed' of wrestling so that I have a good chance of seeing some live shows. It must be a good tourist location so there is plenty to do during the day time. It must have decent weather. Keep in mind that I am from the UK where the weather is usually crap, so I dont want to come away on holiday and have to wear a sweater. It doesnt have to be scorching sun, but it can't be cold either.
If you're not too annoyed by the fact that I've started a whole thread about myself, please post some ideas. And if your looking for advice on holiday destinations in the UK, you know who to ask.

Im honestly not making any of those up! They are all legitimate channels.

Its been rumoured to be starting this autumn, although there is not a specific date as of yet.
Until now, its all been a bit hit and miss. But this latest batch of news makes it look like it will definetly happen.
The only bad thing is that it probably won't last a year. But, I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.A lot of poeple ive talked to have said that, but I think it stands a good chance. I know hardcore wrestling fans are few and far between in the UK, but I think the fact that it is free will mean a good number will tune in.
Also, when you flick through the Sky digital channels, you can find all manner of things. If Chrisitan rock tv and life tv and all the auction channels can make it, why cant a wrestling channel?

Fleh, I love this and all, Good for you Brits. But I personally have always wanted to see reruns of old raws and nitros. Now that would be awesome and would probably get higher ratings then the raw of today.I dont think that will happen on the new channel as WWE has a deal with Sky Sports. Why Sky sports can show re-reuns is beyond me though, perhaps they feel that not enough people would watch it plus, like you said, it would show up the new raws.
