  1. Can you link us for more info. That sounds pretty good, I might be buying my first PWG tape.

LOL, I think it'll be everyone's first PWG tape.

lol, I meant the forthcoming show, not the one that has just happened.

More info on which show? Saturdays or the ones in august? I don't think there's anymore info out about the August Tourney other than what was on the flyer.

I sort of meant in general, like a link to the promotions site etc.

  2. Sounds like a good show if your intoyour death matches.

argued with IWA fans the whole night

How many made the trip? I read elsewhere that it was only about 10. What was the overall crowd size approx?

I also heard that the tape is availble to order allready! Thats amazing work if it is.

And does anyone else have any more news on the Mondo injury! 3 broken bones and a puncture wound, give that man a pat on the back!

  3. That 3 million is definitely a worst case scenario number. When you factor in all the endorsement work he does and his drawing power, I'd wager he's making a lot more than that.

He has been getting some pub in the States lately, so Vince could make a play or him, but I doubt we'll ever see Sapp in the WWE.

If you were him would you bother even considering an offer from Vince? Hes obviously making enough money, and he would have no guarantee of the sort of career he would have in the WWE. Plus they wouldnt allow him to do any MMA if he had a full time contract.

  4. I know that was very dissapointing, But at least Samoa Joe had the class and showed up at PWG and addressed the crowd. And AJ Styles and Frankie Kazarian still put on a great match in Joe's absence and SD Vs. M-Dogg was a very fun match as well, dispite problems PWG still delivered.

Their next shows August 29/30 should be ones to watch as well.. It's 2 day 16 man World touney... Announced so far: Chris Daniels, Colt Cabana, B-Boy, Super Dragon and others

Can you link us for more info. That sounds pretty good, I might be buying my first PWG tape.

  5. Awesome, thanks IBM. I didnt want to ask you directly this time because you did the last one for me. I can print this one straight away though, so thanks very much.

Im just trying to get hold of the dates for the CZW shows, and I can get those ones printed as well.

    Thanks,

    ChUnK!

  6. If someone wants to take on another one for me, ive just got hold of: NJPW - Best of the super Juniors 1994.

It would have to be similar to the CZW one in so much as it must feature a lot of white so it doesnt cost a fortune in ink to print, and it must feature something to do with the content.

Here is a link to a site that is selling the tape, so you can see the card and the wrestlers on the show.

It must also include the show name and, because it is split over two cd's, must say "CD 1 and 2".

Other than that, its up to you, but the VCD sign and NJPW logo might be good additions.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to have a go.

  7. Oh....The networks will edit matches with too much violence like Sabu v. La Parka 1 from December, where La PArka was bleeding all over the place and Sabu was stabbing him in the face with a spike.

Other than that match all the matches were shown in full. I noticed that they dont edit anything for commercial breaks, and jsut restart from where they left off before hand.

Yeah, my mistake. What I actually saw was a re-cap of last week, thats why it was clipped. DOH! In my defence though, I was just skimming through it to make sure it was all there.

  8. As for your comment, I was referring to your little outburst at the begining to this thread.

Dude, that was CLEARLY a joke. I meant no harm by it and that was obvious. Ryan posted that it was one fall, and so I played that off as being absolutely unheardof. I don't see what's wrong with that. As another person realized, it was clearly meant as a joke (they said it was pretty funny). That may have been an outburst, but it certainly shouldn't have a negative connotation, like you're attaching to it.

I think that has been taken the wrong way.

I just took it as a joke on the fact that the match was announced as one fall, and Barber did his little mark out bit sarcastically for the announcement. Theres nothing more to it than that.

I found it pretty funny imagining someone going crazy for a one fall match :)

And isnt it entirely possible that the show didnt draw well because poeple chose to save their money for TOD2, with it being so close to last Saturday?

If you had enough money to got a PPV on Sunday night, or Raw the day after, which would you choose?

  9. This is wrestling- You want the crowd to make noise- or else it results in a dead crowd. And that's bad. If Jeff can't handle being booed- He should get the fuck out.

I went to RAW with the intention of booing Rosey from Three Minute Warning because he is a heel. Damn my disrespect. I intended to boo CM Punk before he got into the ring.

Thats something completely different, and you knew full well what I meant. Booing a heel is one thing, but booing a face before they even get to the ring is very different.

I don't like Jeff Hardy- I don't think it's right that he was booked for the show and is probably making more then most workers there. So I should cheer him when he comes out?

No you dont have to cheer him at all. But couldn't you be respectful enought to actual, hmm I dont know ... watch his match before you boo him?

That's hearsay. You weren't at the show nor have you seen any of the footage. I think you're the one with the head up your ass.

Again, you take what I've said out of context. Ive stated on more than one occasion that I can only go by online reports. However, you have stated yourself that he was booed from the moment he came out.

How does us booing Jeff Hardy mean that we know more about the business then he does?

Its the whole attitude towards him. It was the same with Konnan. You basically think you know best, and you know what is good for ROH, if you get it into your head that you dont like someone you wont give them a chance.

If he can't handle crowd heat- THEN WHY THE FUCK IS HE IN WRESTLING? What the fuck is his problem?

I thought you knew all about his "problems", most smart fans are only to eager to post about how he takes drugs etc

You know what- Konnan got booed out of the building at Final Battle- Did you hear him complain about it? No. Did you hear him call the people who booed him idiots? No. Konnan ended up showing up to the next show despite his ROH reputation. If Konnan can handle it- why can't Jeff?

Thats another point alltogether, im talking purely about what happened up to him getting in the ring. WHat he, reportedly, did afterwards is another thing alltogether, and weather i agree with it or not is irrelevant to my arguement.

Jeff could've proved me wrong. I didn't give him a chance -BECAUSE THE MATCH SUCKED. It was sloppy, had no flow, no spectacular spots and was dull. Jeff blew a DDT and did nothing interesting. So it's my fault that Jeff Hardy blew a DDT?

Im not going to continue this arguement, because you've basically summed it up in that comment. You say you didnt give Jeff a chance because the match sucked. But you have admitted that you booed him before the match even started. On top of that you made it clear that you were going to boo him before you even left home to get to the show.

You have every right to do what you want, and you may believe that booing someone without giving them a chance to work for you is ok. However, I find it disrespectful and narrow minded. If you want to be another "smart" fan at an ROH show who thinks he knows best and will go along with what the rest of the crowd chant, then that is up to you, but I have a different opinion.

I do not like Jeff Hardy. Therefore when he comes out- I will boo him. Is that so wrong?

No its not. I just cant understand why you wouldnt give a guy 5 minutes to impress you before you open your mouth and start booing him.

Jeff Hardy was given a chance- he failed.

This is why I cant be bothered with this arguement anymore.

You just typed this a few paragraphs above:

I didn't give him a chance -BECAUSE THE MATCH SUCKED

  10. Theres a difference between booing the heel and shitting on someone because you read on the net he has teh drug problemz and he iz te gay!!!!!1111

The ROH crowd likes to hear the sound of its own voice chanting their oh so witty and clever chants too much. There is a difference between that and the heel heat most heels in the WWE get from the non smarts in their crowds ie most of the crowd.

I couldn't have put it better my self mate!

Booing someone you dont like is fair enough Bob, but it can also be direspectful.

If you go to a show with the intention of booing someone before they've even got to the ring, then that IMO is direspectful.

Negative heat towards someone for being crap is fair enough, but you had allready turned on Jeff before he even made it to the ring.

The ROH crowd on saturday had their heads so far up their arses that they were never going to even give the match a chance. They think they have the inside scoop and know more about the business than lowly Jeff Hardy will ever know. Therefore they will take any chance to show how "smart" they are, no matter what effect it has on anyone else.

He had the chance to shut us all up. Instead he goes to NHB radio and calls us idiots

You keep saying that, but on Saturday you didnt give him a chance at all. Booing him before he even made it to the ring is hardly giving him fair chance to impress is it? Fair enough he could still have worked harder in the ring, but it still doesnt make booing him right.

You wouldnt go to a concert and boo the shit out of the band as they cam eon stage and then expect them to give you 110% back for the rest of the show. This is exaclty the same thing.

FWA over here are as bad. I'd rather sit with the rubes at All Star and watch American Dragon instead of Brian Danielson.

I know what your saying, but I think the FWA fans are more respectful as a whole. If Hardy came over here, I honestly dont believe he would get the same treatment. And no its not because Brit fans are dumb, I just think they would give him more of a chance.

The only time I have seen the FWA fans act like idiot is with AmDrag and the mask. The heat he got was uncalled for and should never have happened. I think a lot of fans regret starting the chants, and I dont think we will get anything similar like that again. Crowd burnout and the late start also added to this, but thats another subject.
