Speaking of no sound. Whe we were shown the footage of Lesnars attack on Angle, did anyone find it refreshing to be able to listen to the crowd (and heat machine) without having to hear commentry. I think it makes it feel more like a live show. On future DVD's I think it would be a good idea to include a second audio track (just like the director commentries you sometimes get) of just the crowd noise. Anyone agree? ChUnK!

I recently saw TNA:5. On that show, the Blue Meanie shows up and takes Jasmine St. Claire out of the arena. Anyway, I was supprised at the meanie, as he seems to have lost a bit of weight, and had a good look about him (perhaps thats just me) Anyway, this got me thinking about his promotion, and how no one ever talks about it in this forum. So, does anyone have an opinion on 3PW? Whats its like, what is the best show they have produced so far, is it worth getting any tapes (and which ones) etc. Thanks for any feedback, ChUnK!

A Gerkin is the English name for a pickle. Its a small pickled vegetable (like a cucumber or a courgette) and is often served, in slices, in hamburgers. Its you guys that keep changing it all around lol ChUnK!

Yes, they're original copies taped directly off the dish. £5 ea. isn't expensive, it's the going rate that some other traders charge for 2-3 generation copies. Try it out, you won't find a better copy than these! Oh right, the VQ sounds good. Its just that I thought most traders sold TNA's by the 2's, for the price of a single tape, as they only go on for 2 hours each. ChUnK!

It does look like a good year indeed. Good news on the tape front is that SST are rumoured to have lost the FWA contract. Basically, FWA got pissed of at not making much money from videos because SST offered such a crap service. I don't know how much fact there is in that rumour though. Look out in the new year for the new dealer of the FWA tapes. As far as British Uprising goes, your right, there have been problems. I paid for my ticket at the December 15th FWA show (seasons beatings) and they guaranteed me that it would be delivered for Christmas. Its now the 5th of January, 21 days later, and I still havent got my tape. I heard, via another forum, that there were problems in production. On the positive, I think it is certainly worth getting some FWA tapes. Their last 3 shows have been outstanding, and when the new dealer is set up, it should be a good place to get quality british wrestling shows. ChUnK!

So 2002 was quite a year for the British Wrestling scene. The FWA recruited top Indy stars for their shows, and broadcast an event on TV. They hold their biggest show to date at the York Hall and recieve rave reviews. Hammerlock goes on tour with ex wwf legend Jake Roberts, and score them selves a tv deal (so it is rumoured). Seen as we are going into 2003, how about we post our thoughts on the last year in Britain, and how we wold like things to go in 2003. I became a big Indy fan this year, and also a huge FWA fan. I saw their 2 biggest shows, and some excellent matches. FWA relaunch after 5 years this year, and claim that they will have something that will set them apart from all other promotions in the UK, and will help secure them a national TV deal. Heres some word from Alex Shane on 2002 (courtesy of alexshane.com) I know the FWA isnt the only promotion in the UK, but the way I figure it, if they continue to produce the quality of show that they have been producing, then good things will come their way. I have TNA 2, BOTB 2, ROH 1 & 2. But you dont want to use them Ive got British Uprising on order (its paid for im just waiting for delivery). I was guaranteed that it would be with me for xmas, but there was a prob, an I still dont have it. P.S. Why dont you want to include ROH and TNA, they have produced some of the best stuff this year?
