In the indy and mma folder, i mad a typo on my "FWA: Britich Uprising, My review and photos" thread. It should read: "FWA: British Uprising, My review and photos", which is really annoying becasue that post took me ages. Is there anyway to correct the typo? Thanks in advance for any help.

I know its a while now since the show happened, but ive finally gotten round to uploading my pictures from the event, so I thought I would post them along with my thoughts on the show. It was the first FWA show I had ever been to, so I wasn't sure what to expect. When I first got into the York Hall, I was actually supprised at how tiny the ring was. I'm rubbish at reviewing shows that I go to live, I always miss something and end up getting rapped up in whats going on too much. I'm ok with TV, but not when it's live, so i'll just give my opinions and thoughts for now. The first match (Triple threat: James Tighe Vs Jack Xavier Vs Raj Gosh) was, in my opinion very good. I liked the way that they did a number of three way spots, rather then just having 1 vs 1 whilst the third guy was on the outside. I also think that the guys here did a great job of getting the crowd motiviated. They would frequently stop to clap their hands etc, in order to get the crowd into it. I think this set the tempo for the rest fo the night. Hade Vansen Vs The Zebra Kid. I thought this match was decent enough and there were some decent spots. The thing I remember from this, was a little 8 year old kid, a couple of rows next to me shouting "Come on Zebra Man!" Well it made me laugh The Pitbulls vs The New Breed. I kind of missed out on some of what happened here because im new to the FWA. I didnt quite understand the run in, and why it ended up 2 vs 1, but I guess if youv'e seen the build up to the show, it all makes perfect sense. Still this match, wasn't very good, and kind of bored me after the opening matches I had just seen. Still, an awesome table spot which happened really close to me, so that was good. Drew Macdonald Vs Robbie Brookside. This was also a bad match. It just was going where, the moves shown were pretty boring, and it screamed "time filler" to me, which made me wonder why they had spent time and effort setting it up with the "TWA sactioned" gimmick/angle over the radio. Jerry Lynn Vs Doug Williams. WOW, I loved this match. I thought the crowd was loud, until Jerry came out. The crowd blew the roof off. I was kind of shocked that this match was before the interval, but it was still good. I think it would have been better later on, when the crowd were completely ready for it, but I can't take away from the great performances from the two guys. Doug Williams went over, which I dont think even supprised the people casually passing by the arena on their way home from the pub, but you cant really expect anything else when the American workers work abroad in one off matches. Nikita Vs Paul Travell. I was really really impressed with this match. Without trying to sound sexist (which im not - honest ! ) womens matches are often not as good as male matches. I had also heard that Nikita was totally written off for her performance at FWA: Revival. Still, I thought she did very well here. She took some big bumps that I have to give her credit for, and I think this match was probablly better than the "tag" match and the TWA santioned match put together. I'm not trying to say it was an outstanding exhibition of wrestling ability, but it did prove for me that intergender matchups dont always have to be poor. And I think Nikia more than answered her critics. Ulf Herman Vs Balls Mahoney. The crowd went all out for the Balls entrance as well. I also met Balls after the show, and he said that he would definetly come back to the FWA after the reception that "you guys gave me". This match took ages to get started, which I think worked well with the incredibly loud crowd. When it eventually started, I was very supprised with how good the actual match was. Apart from the very visible blade job on the part of Balls I thought the guys put on a good brawl. I loved it when they brawled to the outside, I was this close to the pair of them ) They totally wrecked SST's stall and for a moment I thought they were going to go out onto the streets (I swear the thought crossed Balls' mind ) Classic! That would have been awesome, but when they took it back to the ring and the thumb tacks came out, it made up for it. Ulf looked a little shy of taking the big bump throughtout the macth, but Balls wasn't and when he did I was very impressed with the overall match. Plus seeing Balls stick tacks into his own head was awesome, and pretty funny, and some of the chair shots in that match were shocking. Great stuff! AJ Styles Vs Jonny Storm. Im a huge AJ fan, so there was no way I was ever going to be anything other than impressed with this match. I thought both men put on a great performance, AJ slightly missed his Leg drop from the top rope (easier to call it that) but we got to see a 2nd rope Styles Clash so thats good enough for me. Jonny Storm also impressed me here, he seems like quite the little high flyer, despite looking like X-Pac Jody Feisch Vs Flash Barker. I really thought that these two would have trouble following what we had allready seen. But was I wrong or was I wrong. Some awesome spots throughout (particularly with the ones onto the ladders between the ring and the security railings), but I think it will be obviously remembered for that Huge moonsault off the 20 foot baclony WOW! An awesome end to an awesome night. I am now officially an FWA fan for life. I wear the T-shirt I bought on the night with pride, and I look forward hugely to the Broxbourne show in December. Which leaves me with one thing to say.... well chant actually, F-W-A, F-W-A, F-W-A, F-W-A, F-W-A, F-W-A, F-W-A cheers, ChUnK! If you want to use my pics, then please credit me first. I have stacks more, but I only have a 56k modem so it takes sooooo long to upload them that I had to pick the best ones. Let me know what you think of my pics and review. Each link below takes you to a different one of the photos I uploaded, i've also added a few to this post for a taster. Enjoy and let me know what you think. Just a few quick notes: I had a chat with the UK Pitbulls after the show who said they had no idea whether Fleisch's injury was worked or not ("If that was a work, he was selling it backstage.") I talked to Chris Daniels also, who said he would not be back till the February show (also at Walthamstow.) As such, I would imagine they will sort out the #1 contendership at the next shows. Xavier is still booked for the trainee shows at the time being. I found it strange that he lost this match too. Maybe they'll work a TWA match or something on an FWA card. Crowd was entertaining. Another enjoyable show. Best wishes, Andy thanks for the info, im looking forward to the broxborne show in a big way now. I hear my man AJ Styles is back

As you will know, silvervision are selling off all of their wwF tapes and DVD's at half price, due to the wildlife fund ruling. I have bought a good few, and my collection of wwf tapes now includes: PPV’s and Complete Shows: No Mercy 2002 Unforgiven 2002 Summer Slam 2002 Wrestlemania XVIII (18) Royal Rumble 2002 Vengeance 2001 Survivor Series 2001 Rebellion 2001 No Mercy 2001 Unforgiven 2001 Summer Slam 2001 Invasion 2001 King of the Ring 2001 Judgement day 2001 Insurrextion 2001 Wrestlemania XVII (17) DVD No Way Out 2001 Royal Rumble 2001 Armageddon 2000 Rebellion 2000 No Mercy 2000 Unforgiven 2000 Fully Loaded 2000 Insurrextion 2000 Backlash 2000 Wrestlemaina 2000 No Way Out 2000 Royal Rumble 2000 No Mercy 1999 Unforgiven 1998 Wrestlemania XIII (13) Canadian Stampede Survivor Series 1996 Wrestlemania XII (12) Wrestlemania X (10) Wrestlemania IX (9) Summer Slam 1992 Survivor Series 1992 Royal Rumble 1992 Survivor Series 1991 Wrestlemania V (5) Wrestlemania III (3) Wrestlemania 1 (1) WWE Biographies and Documentaries: WWF: Wrestlemania: “The Greatest Hits” WWF: “Hardcore” WWF: “Wrestling Super Heroes” WWF: “Eve of destruction” WWF: “Wild in the UK” WWF: “Viewers choice – best of 2001” Chris Jericho: “Break down the walls” TLC: “Tables, Ladders and Chairs” Steve Austin: “Lord of the Ring” Hulk Hogan’s Rock ’n’ Wrestling Volume 1 (Cartoon) Wrestling Superstars: Before they were famous Anyway, the reason for this post is that I still have some money left to spend and im really not sure what to get. I have bought every thing that I have a preference for, and so would like anyones input into any classic shows that are missing from my collection that I should definetly get before they are no longer available. I am also interested in compilations, focuses on wrestlers and best of's etc. I have posted this message in this folder, as the viewers in this folder will know more about WWF, and this question could just as wll be "What are the best shows ever?" rather than "Which tapes should I get?" Thanks in advance for the help, ChUnK!

About 13 hours ago (easier that way because we are all in different time zones) i couldnt access the site for a couple of hours. This happens to me from time to time, and so is quite a regular thing. (Once a fortnight approx) The first couple of times it happened i thought it was a coincidence, but im not sure now. Is this just me, and hence a rpoblem with my computer? Or does everyone experience this? Any idea what it could be?

Im interested in making banners for my self, but after the abuse everyone gives DJ Jeff, i thought i would ask for some advice first. What programs do i need to make good quality banners? What websites/sources etc can i go to, to get tips and advice on graphics and making banners? What are good sources/websites for pictures that i could use to make banners? How do you cut a picture out from its background? By that i mean, say if you have a picture of a wrestler, but you just want to have the wrestler with a plain background, how do you do it? If you try doing it yourself using paint or paint shop pro, the edges always look pixelated and scrappy. What am i doing wrong? Is it just a case of filling in the edges and smoothing them over myself? Or is there another way of doing it? Any pther tips or advice owuld be much appreciated, if anyone could answer my questions, it would be of great help. Cheers, ChUnK!

Its not bad, I think you need to bring the bring the "Scot Steiner" text down a little though, as its kind of stuck to the top of the banner, if you get what I mean. ChUnK!

Hmmm, where did i see that then? Im sure i saw a link to a Jake inteview in this folder. Anyone else know what im talking about. Thanks anyway Styes Clash.

Bagels! The food of wrestlers Sounds like a great show, i wish i could have been there. It seems a little strange that the title was taken offf Jody so quickly. Is Chris Daniels going to be working regularly for the FWA then? Do you know the reason behind Xavier leaving? What was the drowd like comapared to Uprising? They were electric there. ChUnK!

the ed leslie one is the best by far. The others have slighlty blurred pictures, but are still good.

he appeared at an FWA show, over here in england as well. Im sure it was FWA: Revival, but you can ask "Curry Man" to confirm that if you want, he'll know for sure.

Whats that software called, and where can you get it? This is a constant pain in the arse for me aswell. The times ive left the computer downloading something, come back in a couple of hours and found its disconnected 5 minutes after i leaft, ive lost count of. The software you are talking about sounds like it would be most helpful.

I got a capture card for about £50, which came with all the software i needed. Then, all you need to do is connect a VCR to the capture card using am s-video lead, and then press playa nd capture away. You can also conect your camcorder to the capture card and do the same thing. Switch it to playback mode, press play and then capture. The real trouble i found was keeping picture quality good whilst keeping file size down. I tried using div-x and other codecs but it didnt really help? Does anyone have any tips for this?

Does anyone really use quicktime? I only ever use it when i have to really?

I was just wondering who the first member of this forum is? Also, who leads the way with greatest number of posts?
