It's not even about rules or growing a spine to me. It's about principle. Banning someone for something they said in No Holds Barred is generally a rule and I'd be a hypocrite if I did...at least I'd feel like one. Dames

Jubuki, No Holds Barred or not, that was sick and uncalled for and I've lost any modicum of respect that I had for you. I was an eyewitness to the events of 9/11 that day and I still have nightmares to this day about it. I swear on my fucking life that it's taking everything I have in me NOT to ban you right now...because it would be against the rules I set. Dames

No, I said that if he WAS going for 300, he'd be going tonight and you said no, so I asked why. Dames

Where did you hear that? I haven't received a feed from them in 3 weeks and I've been receiving tapes every Thursday from Bob Barron to do my reviews. I need a permanent solution though because Bob will only be around for the summer. Dames

I said a few pages back that when the discussion is over, it will be archived. Dames

Let's see: - Pitching on the road against a fairly potent offensive team in front of the most hostile crowd imaginable vs. - Pitching at home in front of a happy, positve crowd against a cupcake team (the Blue Jays, I believe is their next series) Which one has the most pressure? I think it would be more memorable if he won his 300th win against Boston, especially since he spent most of his career there. Why do you think he'd be facing the Blue Jays? According to the rotation, if he wins tonight, he faces the Sox on Memorial Day at the Stadium, which would be GREAT. Dames

Why wouldn't Clem be pitching tonight if he were going for 300? It would be apropos, no? Either way, if he wins tonight, his next start would be against the Red Sox at home. I've GOT to see if I can get some tix. Dames

No...they were under the assumption that Palmer would launch a counter attack once the bomb went off. If Palmer didn't know that the Cypress Audio was fake, he would have gone to war and the heels would have gotten what they wanted. Max said on the phone "we'll start the war another way", so I assume that they'll try to put the blame on whoever incapacitated/assassinated Palmer on one of the Middle Eastern countries. Dames

I don't think they were trying to overthrow the presidency...they just wanted to stage a war. That was a side effect they didn't see coming. Dames

I was just trying to make it seem like they were foreshadowing something. I did find the fact that Prescott offered his resignation to be very honorable. In his mind, he thought he was doing what was right because with the facts he had, the Cypress Audio was indeed real and he didn't want 20,000 Americans to lose their lives. He wasn't being an asshole just to be an asshole, you know? Once he got the truth, he aborted the mission, KNOWING that his ass was DONE now (because if he was truly a heel, he would have let the bombers go anyway) and then tried to make amends as best he could. He redeemed himself to me. Dames

Well, for someone who never saw Dallas and only knew of the "Who shot J.R." storyline due to it's popularity, I didn't understand it at all. Basically, there's an episode of Family Guy called Da Boom where the Y2K problem actually causes a nuclear meltdown and lots of shit happens. At the end of the episode, (I assume that's her) Victoria Principle wakes up, goes to the shower and there's Patrick Duffy and he says "Good Morning". She tells him that she was having a terrible dream about Family Guy. He says...."What's Family Guy?" and they stare into the screen for the credits. Dames

Grapple System + Great Graphics + Reversing Finishers = Goodness. Expand the CAW feature and now we're talkin. Still, it's a rental before a purchase. Dames

...and they've already set up the fact that his Vice President is more than capable of being in charge of the country during a crisis. Basically, they put over new talent. Well done. Dames

It wasn't a wig....and she wasn't a known assassin. Just known to us due to her involvement in the first season. Max popped out of nowhere a couple of episodes ago as the guy that Kingsley was working with. Dames

AC, why do you think Palmer is dead? They never showed him die.... Jack was dead for a few minutes and HE came back to life. Dames

Season 5 is definitely one of my favorites, but she NEEDS to see Season's 2 and 3. Besides, I'm anal about seeing things in order. Dames

That's weird...I posted this and then it had disappeared. I wasn't about to type it again. Dames

Listen to this shit...PISSED ME OFF. I've been trying to get a friend of mine into Buffy. She's been resisting because she's one of those people out there who judged the show before ever seeing anything AND caught a few episodes out of context. So, we got through season 1 (which isn't that great...and I had to try and defend a good portion of it) and we're getting to the meat of Season 2 (Angel hasn't turned heel at this point yet) and she read on a website today a column on the fact that Buffy is ending and the top 10 moments on the show...with the number 1 being Buffy Killing Angel at the end of Season 2 and Angel killing Ms. Calender as part of the top 10 list as well. . Needless to say, I was upset by this because dammit...I wanted her going in not knowing ANYTHING. Now I have a feeling she's not going to get into it and I'm fighting a losing battle here. Dames

Yes, HHH beat Hogan on Smackdown to earn his title shot at King of the Ring, I believe. Dames
-
Choken, they did wrestle each other for the World Title to "legitimize" the fact that HHH was awarded it. Dames

Oh.... NOW I get the joke from Family Guy! Dames

Guys...I think the point of the thread is that David Flair appears to be in WWE. It could have been just a one shot thing since they were in Flair Country. How sad is it that Maven, a guy who won Tough Enough, is a better worker than A. A former WCW US Champ. B. Someone who's been on TV for years now. C. The son of one of the greatest performers in the wrestling biz...Ric Flair. Dames

As everyone knows, I've always been very lenient and flexible when it comes to being fair with everyone. But dammit, lately, there are some people who have joined the board lately who are just lacking brain matter. Part of me wants to ban them on account of "extreme stupidity", but that just wouldn't be right. *sigh* I'm just venting here. Dames
-
Look, I'm in a bad mood and I need to vent. Instead...I want to be insulted. Why? Does it fucking matter? Just tear into me. As long as it's not racist...I don't care. No repercussions whatsoever. A free ride for today... FLAME ME. Dames
