The one & only OVW...errr, Smackdown thread.

Alright...the winner of the 6 man won't be named Smackdown Champion, since Batista will then be revealed as the draft pick. He'll have a new # 1 Contender though. Dames -

Fuck that. I loved that entire segment. I marked out WAYYYY too hard for that. Hip hop music with Juvi bumping out to the "Mexican Limo...TWO THOUSAND FIVE~!" 3 Great talents...awesome. Juvi cutting a promo....hilarious. Mexicools. Ruled. Dames -
Bad Dudes was AWESOME.... Bringing ALL the Bosses back in the end before the main Boss... That's just WRONG. *Powers up punch* *TAKES OUT A ROW OF NINJAS* Dames

I'm almost positive that was within the same month that I started watching, if not the next week. July 1996. Dames

That guy deserves the worst possible jail time. That's just terrible and fucking disgusting. Dames

That wouldn't be a bad idea actually. Granted with the fact that the draft has been nothing but main eventers so far, the casual fan might shit on it, but Bischoff's fought hard to make Raw a good show (storyline wise). Should he go to SD, he would have to try and take down the show he built up by making good business decisions, making good matches, etc, which is what Smackdown needs. To be seen as on the same level as Raw. Dames

I'll never forget when I first saw it. I missed WCW Bash at the Beach 96 the night it aired, so I watched it the next day. After the Hogan turn, the credits rolled and segued into a Raven promo with Sandman's son. (July 96). The first few matches I saw in that show was Jericho vs. Pitbull # 2, which is where he won the title and Dreamer vs. Prime Time Brian Lee in a weapons match. I loved the intensity, the blood, the announcing (!) the crazy spots, everything. 1996 was a great year. Dames

"Where'd you get that scar, eating pineapple?" "How do joo get a scar like that eating pineapple?" The TV edit of Scarface is simply hilarious. Dames -
It wasn't so much that I disliked Mario 64, I didn't have a N64 when it first debuted. By the time I got one, I was hooked the wrestling games. One of my friends made it a point to try and do the New Jack Balcony Dive off of ANY structure in Mario 64...hilarious. "WAAAAAOOOOOOO!!!!" Dames

For the record, I wasn't EXCITED to see BB, the trailer was underwheling, as were the commercials. But the movie itself...man, I want to see it again TODAY, pre-order the DVD and get a lawn chair for my place in line for the sequel. Dames

See...the thing that boggles me is this... The light turned on in the Hatch at the end of Deux Ex Machina with Locke looking into it. The next episode shows ZERO Locke, which is when Boone died. What the hell was Locke doing the whole time? I was convinced that they had actually either taken him inside or he was captured and brainwashed that night. Now, I'm starting to think he just sat there all night and stared...which lessens the HOLY SHIT factor of that moment. That's something I really want to know. What the hell happened that night... The guy beat Cena for the U.S. Title in his debut...and in his debut on Raw, he beat Shelton for the IC Title. Even if he's jobbed out for the rest of his career, you can't take that away from his record. Dames -
