Well, it's Friday night and I'm still at my job because I've got a T1 line here and I'm abusing it. Actually, I'm meeting with a few friends of mine in about an hour and a half to go check out The Core. Tomorrow, we're gonna head out and see Head of State. What do you guys plan on seeing this weekend? Yes, I know The Core doesn't look great,(more like a bootleg Armageddon) but it has TCHEKY~! in it, so it must rule. Head of State looks amusing and they give TNA some props in it too. Dames

That's what the search feature is for Chunk. Dames

DA, I've been the biggest 24 advocate on this board for quite some time. The Shield may not be as suspenseful, but has better character development. Hell, I would go as far as to say that it has some of the best character development on TV. I would say that as a whole, The Shield beats 24. However, the first half of 24: Season 1 is untouchable....just the second half drags it down. Dames

I just finished The Shield Season 1. Even better than 24. I didn't think that was possible. Dames

What do you plan on seeing this weekend?

Well, The Core was alright, but nothing spectacular. TCHEKY~! owned everyone. I was going to see Head of State tonight, but it began to downpour heavily and everyone chickened out. Dames -
Sorry, not my fault that Cablevision screwed me over for the first 3 months. Dames

Tony Lukes is cool....but I'm a very picky eater. True story, no shit. The last time I was in Philly for a show, the guys on the bus trip stopped at Tony Lukes for cheesesteaks. Now, I'm a picky eater, so I didn't want any onions or peppers on it. As I'm on the line, I heard some guy from behind say that they don't take too kindly to "custom" orders and seeing how Philly has a reputation of being rude to people, I didn't know what to do. I ended up getting off the line and going to Wendy's. I pussed out. I was a pussy back then. Oh well. Dames

Sorry Dean, my last indy show was ROH: The Era of Honor Begins. No more bus trips for me. Dames

I agree, somewhat, with your points about Jarrett. (Did you email me about this?) Well, this is what I said in response to the same question: "The thing about the Jarrett interview is that while he is in character, he may be voicing his personal opinion about the performers themselves. There's a fine line between it and when he says something about a performer not being ready to be a top guy, especially after not putting him over when the storyline called for it, you have to question it." If really seemed as if AJ Styles was poised to win the title that night with everything leading up to the match. Since then, his character has been stagnant, almost as if they've had to start from scratch because their initials plans didn't go through. It just makes me question it...that's all. Dames

Hey Banky...where's the Bitchfest for this week huh? I want to hear about John Cena's unmitigated power. Dames

First off, 350,000 a year is CRAZY money for someone competing on Heat. Shit, let me main event Heat for the rest of my life then. Second, it's obvious that D'Lo has talent and has been under pushed and under utilized since the Droz Incident. Now, if you're a wrestling fan and a fan of D'Lo's work, you'd rather see him on a rival promotion near the upper midcard or main event than watch him job every week on Heat. They aren't taking D'Lo's money into consideration because we aren't getting one cent off of it. If we were, then shit, let him stay there, right? Dames

You all wore Lucha Libre masks? I was at the Super 8 last year when the DVDVR crew did that. Got to meet Schneider and Rev Ray before hand on the bus. Interesting guys to say the least. Dames

For once, I'm all for HHH burying someone. Dames

He was going to be released regardless, so financially, TNA was the only real way to go for him. Being utilized as a top guy, however, TNA would push him as an upper midcarder or main eventer while he's scraping by on Heat in WWE. I think that's everyone's point here. Dames

Yeah, Owen tended to do that a lot...I always found it hilarious and I look back and remember it fondly. And who can forget: "And that's why I kicked your leg out of your....leg!" Dames

I found it so hilarious that the ref was the hardest bumper on the show. Bump off the cage, getting chokeslammed, etc. He ruled it that night. Thinking back on it, it saddens me to realize just how quickly Heenan's health has deteriorated since then. Dames

Holy shit...people who watch WOW. I have the WOW PPV on tape. It's so bad, it's good. Riot rules you with her unsafe powerbombs and swank pyro (w/baseball bat). Dames

Despite earlier reports, Tobey Maguire is currently slated to reprise his starrng role in the upcoming Spider-Man sequel. However, production on the film will be delayed a bit to allow Maguire to recover from recent back problems. Some suspected that the studio may opt to replace Maguire rather than delay production. The target release date for the film is now July 2nd, 2004. It was originally May of 2004. Interestingly enough, 20th Century Fox has already selected July 2nd as the opening day for their big I, Robot movie. It is likely that one of the two films (probably I, Robot) will have to blink and change their opening day. Credit: Variety Dames

Hyman Roth sucked balls. That whole storyline made me practically fall asleep. Godfather > Godfather 2. Dames

Throw in the Flair & Owen Ironman matches and I'd buy that shit. Dames

Yeah, you're right. His adversaries weren't nearly as ruthless as the Columbians and Sosa. The Barzini family? Please. Dames

I'm curious fellas....when you ignore him, does he try to direct connect and actually TALK to you? He does that shit to me all the fucking time. Dames
