Before we get all caught up on the idea of two WWE subfolders (News & Rumors & General Discussion), you have to think about exactly what that means. You're pretty much stating that any News and Rumors cannot be discussed in General Discussion in order to keep them separate, which is practically censoring someone's thoughts in THAT folder...starting the vicious cycle all over again. Most people like to discuss things in the thread where it is reported. So, how general would you like the General Discussion folder to be if most current info on the fed would be in the other folder? As for the spoilers, it IS a judgment call for the reader. If the show's not over for you, but it is for others, then you're risking the chance of being spoiled by going into the thread. How do you think the people on the West Coast feel about the Movies/DVD/TV folder? They can't read a thread on their favorite show for 3 hours unless they're willing to be spoiled. As crazy as this may sound...here's another idea. Have more than one thread. The OAO SD Thread (East Coast US Time) The OAO SD Thread (West Coast Thread).. 2 separate discussions (or however many), no one gets spoiled and once it's all aired, they can be merged and discussion can continue. Thoughts? Dames

Shit...I'll take the 20 bucks. I wasn't planning on doing it...but I'll have to reconsider if people want it. Dames

Mostly Yankee fans? I've seen more Red Sox fans than I ever have in my LIFE here. Dames

...I'm not sure exactly what happened and yes, I am rusty with my coding, but it should be fixed soon. Dames

Holy Shit. I'm gone for a little over 2 months and all of a sudden, I hear rumors that I'm never coming back, that I gave up on the site, sold it to Tom, etc. All of those rumors are FALSE. To fulfill the curiosity of most of you, I'll tell you exactly what's gone wrong in the past few weeks. First off, due to the fact that I'm relatively new to the state of CT, the apartment complex told me that they required first month's rent, last month's rent as well as the security deposit up front. That has taken me a bit to acquire but I'm handing in the rest of the money on Tuesday morning, where I'll get my keys and sign my lease. What does that mean for TSM? Well, next Friday, I'm headed back to NYC to get my stuff. Once I have my TV set up, i'm going to hook up the cable and a cable modem and we are back in business. This is 2 weeks away, barring any further delays. FYI, I had to postpone putting down the money for the apt and moving in, which was originally scheduled for last week, but my grandmother passed away and I headed home to NY, which is where I've been for the past 5 days. Do I miss this site? Hell yeah. Am i coming back? YES. Will it be worth the wait? I hope so. Dames

That's not so far off from the truth. Everything here is so different to me... Dames

Actually, I renewed the domain to 2005...last year. Mike was confused. Dames

...Also, just because I hope most of you read this thread, I'd like to let you know that I haven't been able to keep up with most of my favorite TV shows, such as Smallville, Angel, Survivor, The Sopranos, etc. The ONLY Show i've been able to watch has been 24. So...don't spoil shit for me. I HATE not having control of the TV. That's changing next week baby. Also....I've barely been able to keep up with smackdown, only been able to watch Raw and missed Backlash. I haven't watched TNA since Last December too. HELP ME! Dames

First off, no, I'm not back. I was let out of work early and while I'm waiting for my ride to come and pick me up at 5pm, I decided to get on here and let you guys know how I've been myself. The past couple of weeks have been good, with everything culminating this weekend as I got to go to Wrestlemania XX - something I had been waiting for with baited breath ever since I missed Mania X 10 years ago. What Bob said was indeed true. When Chris Benoit won that match (100% clean in the middle of the ring), I was overcome with joy and tears did stream down my cheeks. What was absolutely amazing to me wasn't exactly the event itself, which I enjoyed immensely, but my seat! I was in Section 14, Row A, Seat 1...and I had no clue just how close that was. I was on the floor...but instead of paying 750, I bought a $250 ticket. It turns out that everything near the ring on the floor was 750 (and you could keep the chair) EXCEPT for a very small patch of seats by the entrance way. Get this guys: The difference between my seat and a $750 seat was 6 inches to the left. I had practically the exact same vantage point! I was OVERWHELMED by the view. However, there was one drawback. I, unfortunately, went alone since I wasn't able to get any other tickets for my friends. Oh well. I had the time of my life. I HAVE been speaking to Zack Malibu on the phone lately and all of the news he's sent for me has been legit, btw. For those curious as to why I only gave my cell phone number to him...here's why. 1. He's my friend. Deal with it. 2. I just got the cell phone and if I had made it public...my minutes would be done by now. I haven't even gotten my first bill yet. I'm trying to keep the usage DOWN. Anyway, I should be getting my own place within the next 3 weeks and from there, the net. See you guys soon. Dames

Sorry...no chance. I didn't get to watch the show on tape at all and I don't have the time or internet access to put it up any time soon. If anything, I'll probably review the DVD months from now. Dames

Sorry Loss...but this just isn't true. The new "owner" of ROH, Doug Whateverthefuck (I can't recall his last name at the moment) is Rob Feinstein's roommate. With the big scandal going on and considering RF made his LIVING off of RF Video and ROH, how do you think he's going to pay his rent? Borrow money from his roommate? While he might not be at the shows...bottom line is, the owner's coming home with all that cash...and you think RF isn't seeing a penny of it? Dames

Well, the moment of truth has arrived. It's 2:15am right now and my friend will be here with his car in the morning. To tell you the truth, I haven't even begun packing. Most likely, I'm going to be staying up tonight. The last thing I'll pack up is the good old computer. It hasn't hit me just how drastic of a move this is for me. I've lived in New York state all of my life, with 21 of the those years in the Bronx. This is going to be the first time that I'm responsible for myself, taking care of the bills, paying rent, etc. The one that really confirms change to me is driving. All of the things that I'll be responsible for, I've paid in small doses over the years. A credit card bill here, a magazine subscription here. Hell, I even got my very first cell phone yesterday. But now, every responsibility is cranked to 10 and to boot...the transportation system is about 2% of NYC's. I've wanted to get my license since I was 15 years old, but unfortunately, I never took the chance to learn. Sure, I had opportunities. My DVD collection is tremendous, but I'm sure if I put off purchasing 30 or so of them, I would have had my license by now. Anyway, before I continue rambling, I'd just like to say thanks. Thanks for taking what can be an impossible job and make me happy to do it 95% of it. All I ask is that you guys hold down the fort while I'm gone. The final word on TSM while I am gone will be Dr. Tom. Hopefully, there isn't anything to clean up when I get back. I won't have internet capabilities for a month or so, or at least until I have my own place. The people who I'm staying with in the interim don't have a land line, only cell phones so can't get online. Once I do, I'll finally have high speed internet of some sort. So, I'm off basically. Off to hopefully achieve what I desire most in this world. Money, Power and Respect. Wish me luck. Dames

A big ass duffle bag. I actually need to buy myself some new corporate clothing... Here's a shocker for you. Based on Zack Malibu's advice, I actually got a caesar haircut and its been pretty well received, with one or two exceptions. I'll post a pic when I get the chance. Dames

SURPRISE!!! I didn't think that I'd have any access to the internet and while I really don't, i'm at a friends house who's letting me stay on for a few minutes. So far, the job is going very well. I'm enjoying the training sessions and I've met some cool people. The living situation is still kinda odd since i'm essentially living out of a bag, but hopefully that won't last too long. I did get to see the tail end of No Way Out and like Zack said, I thought the match was excellent. Initial impressions from me say ****3/4, but I need to see it again. Glad to see Eddie get a huge pop and even Goldberg's pop was probably the biggest I've seen since the Attitude era. Yeah, I know I didn't call a couple of people. My bad. EQ, we've spoken a couple of times. Miss Indy Queen, you know the deal. I just wanted you to miss me, like I said. Banky, leave her alone. And yes, I have spies. Hopefully, I'll be popping in once in a while, but it looks like I'll be without the net for the next 6 weeks or so. I miss you all. Dames

Fat chance. I don't go to ROH shows, but that's a long story. It has nothing to do with the product itself. Dames Didn't you go to the first few shows? Just the first one. Dames

Dear TSM, A number of you have been asking what is going on with the WWE Folder. Basically, for quite a while now, I've felt that the folder has been lacking intelligent discussion & content...so a change is in order. While it was put up prematurely, most of you know what the plan is going to be. Goodear and CanadianChick will be the forum moderators of the WWE Folder and will be supervised by Loss4Words and Sass. They are to be respected and treated as moderators of TSM, so just because they don't have a big blue picture that reads "MODERATOR", doesn't mean that they shouldn't be treated the same way. I recently made Loss a Super Mod for the sole purpose of being able to "suspend" users of the WWE Forum. While hopefully it doesn't end up being used too often, it allows users who aren't following the rules to still post on the rest of the board minus the WWE Folder, which is the plus. The suspensions will be as follows: Suspended the first time - 1 day The second time - 3 days The third time - 1 week A fourth time - Banned from TSM. I'm sure that some of you may have a lot of questions as to why this is taking place to begin with. I will answer each and every one of your questions, but understand that I helped come up with a majority of this plan and am behind this 100%. This is NOT being done to take away the fun of the folder but rather to give the WWE Folder the intelligent discussion that it deserves in order for everyone to participate and enjoy. Dames

Leave me some feedback will ya... You won't get another one of these for probably two months or so. Dames

Brock Lesnar as Eddie Brock works...but Lesnar's acting skills are far from perfect. Dames -

....Sorry then. That was a misread on my part. I thought he meant that Brock was getting a cut of the DVD sales for Mania 19 since he main evented it. Dames -

No way. Hollywood Actors have to have DVD sales in their contracts in order to get residuals from them. I can understand if its a DVD ABOUT them, ala the Flair DVD or the Foley DVD, but not PPV events. I've never heard of any wrestlers getting residuals off of home video releases. If that was the case, we would have heard something when VHS was still the rage. That being said, he probably got a chunk of change off of the Brock Lesnar DVD. Dames -

He might have gotten the best payday at Mania, but I doubt any of the wrestlers get residuals for DVD sales. Dames -

I doubt he moves that much merchandise. I don't see everyone running out to get their "Off the Hook PAIN" T-Shirts. Dames -
When you watch the extras, let me know if Flair's return is unedited and includes the "ABUSE OF POWER" rant at Bischoff. Dames
