When I finished high school I packed two suitcases and bought a plane ticket to LAX... from Gloucester, England. I had nowhere to live, nowhere to work, and I didn't know a fucking soul. Not to get off topic, but this case was mentioned during the opening scene of the Boondock Saints. I honestly thought that it was just a piece of fiction written for the film, but I guess it was true. The actual accident reminds me of Meet Joe Black where Brad Pitt is hit by multiple cars as he crosses the street. The fact that none of the cars slowed down at all definitely makes it seem very fishy. Dames

I agree with YNA. Jason's fear of water is on a subconscious level, which is why it only appeared in his dream, which is basically your subconscious speaking to you. Freddy noticed this and took advantage. In reality, Jason is able to push those fears aside to accomplish what he needs to: avenge his mothers death. It works. Dames

Well, last week, I was sick as a dog but I still placed a call to inquire about the sales position I spoke of in the "I'm leaving NYC" thread a few weeks back. So, I spoke to the woman from Human Resources over the phone and she said..."can you come in tomorrow?" I'm like..."Tomorrow!?" Anyway, I cut my hair and took the Metro North up there and packed for a few days incase I had to stay for a few. I took an assessment test in the beginning of the week and was asked back to interview the next day. Normally, the interview comes a few weeks after the assessment because they're reviewing a lot of them. After that, you don't normally find out if you have the job until maybe a week or so later. Well, since I'm from out of state, I took the interview the next day and was officially hired 2 hours later. I must have really impressed them. So, as of February 16th, I'm an employee of The Hartford, an insurance company in CT. That's when it really hit me...I'm moving out to another state alone. Holy shit! My last day in NYC as a resident will be Valentine's Day, Feb 14th, 2004. How crazy is THAT? Dames
