Not to downplay RVD, but he doesn't care about the title at all. He recently did an interview where he pretty much stated that he didn't care about it and he has no idea how many times he's held it. Dames

I would agree with you Goodear, to a point. Last week's show was better overall and the matches last week weren't great either. There was just too much sillyness for me this week in terms of the angles. Dames

Yeah, I was a jackass for going to the last time the Elks Lodge threatened to close down and USA Pro ran a show there that lasted 6 hours. Dames

For those of you who have purchased it, have you watched the film yet? I have and so far, these are my thoughts. The scenes with Boromir REALLY add to the film and truly flesh out Faramir's character. I had no idea why he was such a raging asshole in the theatrical version of the film and the added scenes not only made him sympathetic, but redeems his actions at the end. There's a lot more foreshadowing into the "dark terror" that awaits Frodo and Sam in ROTK as well. The Merry and Pippin added scenes are those that aren't necessary as far as I can tell. Those are my preliminary thoughts...I'll add more as people contribute to the thread. Dames

Indeed, the Trilogy Tuesday tickets went on sale sometime last month and sold out quickly. I hear that they're selling on Ebay up to 500 smackers. That's just insane. I've yet to check out the extras on the DVD. I think I'm going to start with P.J's commentary, followed by the cast's. Dames

I've never liked that little kid ever since I saw him in the promos for Disney's The Kid. I've said this to my best friend several times. The Cat in the Hat will either make mega money or not much at all. I can't see it being anywhere in the middle. Dames
