Did the Starrcade name have some ties to the Starr family in wrestling? I know it was a take off of the word Decade, but why two R's?

Misbegoten??? If the WWE named a ppv "Game Over" I'd mark out just for the fact that it could be taken as a shoot on HHH.

That could be because towards the end of his face push RVD started getting his small push which diverted the fans attention to RVD cause he was put in the No Mercy main event.

Are you sure......a lot of people are fawning over Christian vs. DDP from X8. Plus other than his matches with Edge and DDP what other singles matches has Christian had since E&C broke up? They haven't used him much. I've just always found Christian's matches to flow better.

Funny.....I thought he was getting some pretty nice pops. Maybe I'm wrong.

Christian has showed me in other matches that his skills, transition work, and ability to put together a match are somewhat above Edge.....in my opinion. Because he's being misused doesn't make him less talented.

Am I the only one that enjoyed Angle as a face? His promos gave me goosebumps during the build up with Austin...especially the one where he ripped off the neck brace. But I realize he's much better as a heel.

Hurricane Isadore isn't going to hit Houston. We have like the lowest chance of getting hit by it of all the Gulf Coast Areas. It will probably hit either New Orleans or Florida. Houston will probably just get a lot of rain.

Is there anyone who actually buys every single ppv for the whole year? It's better to order them as a group and split the cost so that you're only paying $5.

Honestly they'll never recreate the magic of the Hart Foundation. I don't like rehashed storylines. Maybe it's time to let this one go.

you "could" put a ppv together with two shows, but some of the best ppv's in history were not put together on two shows. Maybe they could go with my 6 ppv idea and on the off months have Clash of the Champions type shows.

By releasing a DVD of every ppv since X7 I take that as a promise that there will be a DVD every month. So yes it's stupid to not make it readily available to the public. Especially since buying it off Shopzone would make it cost way too much with shipping and handling. I'm sure you're okay with Vengeance, but if they do this with SummerSlam I bet you'll be complaining. Honestly I'm just sick of VHS copies of Wrestling ppv's. Maybe it's my VCR, or maybe I'm just spoiled on the great picture quality, but if I'm going to buy the home version of a WWE ppv it's going to be DVD.

Vince says supposedly it should be better by WrestleMania XIX. I'm glad to see that they're returning to Roman Numerals this time instead of that X7 X8 crap.

I thought he still looked pretty scrawny all through High School, but maybe you're right. As someone who's never been in shape I don't know how that would progress.

The Reason I think the 6 ppv idea would work is that because there are less ppv's the fans won't be fed up of paying $35 every month. Plus with better build up more people will want to watch the ppv. The buy rates would go up and still make the WWE money. The ppv's would seem more important. Hopefully that would make the TV shows seem more important because they would have to start building feuds and storylines. Back in the day they had RAW and Superstars as their shows to build storylines and before that just Superstars and Primetime. Now they have RAW and Smackdown. So I say Rumble, Mania, KOTR, SummerSlam, Fall Brawl:War Games, and Survivor Series would be great.
