Ok, I'm probably admitting to being very pop culturely ignorant, but where did the joke of adding "Electric Boogaloo" to a sequel start?

When I saw that I immediately thought Razor Ramon 2004 since it was almost a direct knockoff of the vignettes that introduced Razor, same accent, similar background music and same premise (only Razor talked about all the gold he had on his body implying he was the head of a drug cartel....)

Fuck. They missed. Isn't that appropriate...oh you were just kidding, right?

Boy does this make me feel safe knowing there are Hamas operatives video taping major bridges right by where I live. Even though he was arrestd on other charges I wonder what the implications of Hamas possibly plotting somthing in the US could be, especially for our relations with Israel... COMMIENEWZNETORKLOL~!! Alleged Hamas operative arrested Was videotaping bridge, officials say; held on unrelated charge BALTIMORE (AP) -- A man described as a high-ranking Hamas operative was arrested last week as he videotaped the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, and he then was held as a material witness in an unrelated case, authorities said. Ismael Selim Elbarasse of Annandale, Virginia, long suspected by authorities of having financial ties to the Palestinian extremist group, was taken into custody Friday, the U.S. attorney's office in Maryland said Monday. He was held as a material witness in a Chicago terrorism case. Elbarasse made an initial appearance in Baltimore's federal courthouse Monday before U.S. District Magistrate Judge Paul W. Grimm. A federal grand jury in Chicago, in an indictment unsealed Friday, described Elbarasse as an unindicted co-conspirator in a 15-year racketeering conspiracy in the United States and abroad to illegally finance terrorist activities in Israel. Court documents allege that he and defendant Mousa Mohammed Abu Marzook -- considered one of the highest-ranking Hamas leaders internationally -- shared a Virginia bank account that was used to launder hundreds of thousands of dollars for Hamas. "He is being held only on the material witness charge," said Marcia Murphy, a spokeswoman for the Maryland U.S. attorney's office. Elbarasse was spotted Friday -- the same day the Chicago indictment was made public -- by two police officers on the Bay Bridge, authorities said. The officers noticed a man in an SUV who appeared to be of Middle Eastern descent videotaping the bridge, authorities said. Authorities said the man, who was with a woman and two children, said they had gone to the beach but could not specify what beach they had visited. They also said the camera had used had recorded close-up images that seemed atypical for a tourist. Police learned that Elbarasse was wanted as a material witness in connection with the Chicago case, and was on an FBI terrorist watch list, authorities said. But he was not charged with any wrongdoing in connection with the videotaping. Since Elbarasse's arrest Friday, authorities have searched his Virginia house, federal officials said. Murphy said she did not know what was found. Also Monday, a Pakistani man who was spotted a month ago videotaping the skyline of Charlotte, North Carolina, was indicted on charges of lying to the police and an immigration violation. Kamran Akhtar, 35, of New York City, was charged with six counts in the indictment, but none of them involved terrorism.

To my recolection this is the first NWA-TNA gimmick to be inducted. For those of you who were not with us at the beginning and for those of us who were there, but were fortunate enough to forget, relive THE JOHNSONS! http://www.wrestlecrap.com/thejohnsons.html

What civil liberties does this effect? Are you effected by this? Someone you know? Yeah, I know quite a few homosexuals who might be potentially affected adversely by this. How? EDIT: You know what. n/m, this isn't going to go anywhere good. I'm just SO SICK of this "issue". I really don't care either way. Let them get married, I'd support civil unions, it's just not something I personally feel is worth so much argument over...

As a registered independent, here is why I am voting for Bush based soley on his merits rather than Kerry's shortcomings as per Mike's rules. Upfront the most important issue is the War on Terror because if someone is trying to kill you, nothing else is important, once that's settled, the economy is second most important, if you're safe you need to have a good quality of life, once that's settled you can look at social issues that effect different parts of society. With that said: -#1 priority is security and the War on Terror. Whether people want to deny it or not, we ARE in a war with very dangerous people who don't play by the rules. It would be unprecedented to change Presidents in the middle of a war and would be foolish to do so. The current administration has been here for and since September 11th, so all intelligence and strategy has resided with them. The months it would take to tranfer all that information over to a an all new administration could be crippiling for our security. We don't need our security compromised to allow for a learning curve. FDR once wisely said that you don't change horses in the middle of a race. -President Bush has kept us safe. Since the intial attack there have been no others in the US. Period. His administration has implemented sweeping changes designed to make us safe like The Department of Homeland Security, The Terror Alert System, The Patriot Act, etc. And they are working. We are rounding up more and more of the badguys and many potential threats we have heard about and never will hear about have been and because they have been thwarted. -President Bush does not compromise on what's in America's best interests. I like knowing we have a leader who will have only America's best interests in mind, and while he will not allow foreign leaders with their own selfish agendas to influence our policy, he welcomes and encourages willing countries to join us in our efforts. Similarly he is not afraid to launch a pre-emptive strike. Wherever you fall on the Iraq war and how it's been carried out, getting to our enemies BEFORE they can become a threat and compromise our security is just good strategy. Questionable intelligence aside, he took what he was given and acted on it. -Similarly, President Bush doesn't care what you think. Maybe I should rephrase that, what I mean is he has clear stances on the issues, and does not flip flop on them to be more popular with the masses. He BELIEVES in what he's doing and that's much more important that playing to the opinion polls. -Otherwise, I agree with Mike that tort reform is essential to reforming our health care system, and for protecting small businesses. President Bush actively seeks tort reform to protect good doctors and small business owners. This is a desperate problem because lawsuits are out of control in this country, doctors in certain fields like OB/GYNs are becoming harder to find, and inusrance premiums are going through the roof just to protect themselves. The increased charges are passed on to the citizens and thus no one can afford good medical care. Similarly, small businesse can not afford to stay in business while dealing with those same crippiling costs. These same businesses provide jobs and help the economy. His opponent on the other hand put a notorious trial lawyer on his ticket, infamous for his record setting lawsuit wins based on "junk science", making himself filthy rich in the process. There would be no hope for change in that scenario (Did I break the rules there?) -The economy IS improving, and lower taxes are a part of that. Everyone beneifts from lower taxes. Especially the middle class who are hit hardest because the tax code is pretty leniant with who is considered "rich" and the middle class can't afford the taxes as much as the "real rich". If you earn money, you should be able to keep more of it, invest it, do what you like. President Bush believes that and will not raise taxes on Americans who can't afford it. -Most social issues are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Regardless of his stances on things like abortion, stem cells, gay marriage, religion, etc. It's all irrelevant. The War on Terrorism and the Economy are what's most important. And those things won't change significantly either way since the country is so divided on them. Unless you are somehow directly effected by one of those issues, you shouldn't care, because you're missing the forest for the trees. Hows that?

Yes what a diabolical scheme to make enemies in The War On Terror of a sworn terrorist organization with a mission statement to destroy a democratic nation. The plan is diabolical. I bet Israel is just ITCHING for more bus and cafe bombings so they can have their excuse to senselessly slaughter more innocent Palestinians. Bunch of evil Jewish pigs....

Barry Bonds? Albert Pujols? Scott Rolen? Adrian Beltre? Are Adam Dunn and Sean Casey this league's Mora and Tejada? Do Jim Thome or Jeremy Burnitz get consideration? My pick is Pujols who is leading the best team in the majors and edging out most everyone in the stats. Beltre makes it real close. And then there's that Bonds guy who if he just had less walks....

Perhaps I confused everyone with the way I phrased my question. Hamas=PALESTINIAN terrorist organization who's mission statement is ISRAEL'S DESTRUCTION. What I meant by relations with Israel, is do we become even more proactive in helping them wipe out this scum. Since we don't really have any working Palestinian relations...

With Vito having said his goodbyes, I can believe that he just said "Fuck it," and decided to stay home instead of making $500, but being on the losing side of a match to Chris F'n Vaughn. Question I have to ask is: How in the hell did Vito develop such an ego? Is being a midcarder for a dying ECW and dying WCW really that much to build yourself up over? -=Mike Apparently so. I think it was in the Observer I read a story that sums up Vito's sense of self-importance, about when he was WCW tag team champion, a parking attendent requested to see some ID before letting him in, to which Vito responded in anger: "Don't you know who I am!? I'm one half of the WCW tag team champions! I don't have to show any ID!" Yikes.

Asshole, MetonTour is free registration and signs you up for their mailing list; it has nothing to do with the Metclub. Not that it suprises me that you make assumptions about something you have no idea about. You obviously can't be pleased. Anyone with half a pea brain realizes their current setlists are awesome and about as heavy on old and obscure material as you can get without completely alienating the "casual" fans. Sit in the corner and mope if it makes you feel better, but I'll be enjoying one of the best live bands in history. And I would reccomend everyone else do the same if they have the chance.

Anyone mention Van Halen's "Jump" yet? You can't resist those sythesized notes!

Pujols though is beating out Bonds in homeruns, RBIs, runs, hits, doubles and is right behind him on stats like Avg., OBP, and SLG and is playing on the best team in baseball. Beltre also leads Bonds in most of those stats as well. What say you gentelmen?

Here is a recent setlist of their's from Edmonston, typical of the entire tour: Blackened Fuel Harvester Of Sorrow Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Frantic Leper Messiah King Nothing St. Anger Sad But True Creeping Death Battery ----------- I Disappear Nothing Else Matters Master Of Puppets One Enter Sandman ----------- Jump In The Fire Seek And Destroy So kindly STFU, because they played half of Puppets here and this type of setlist has been basically the norm the entire tour. Here's my favorite I think from San Fransisco: Blackened Fuel Seek And Destroy Fade To Black Frantic King Nothing Holier Than Thou The Unnamed Feeling Sad But True Creeping Death Fight Fire With Fire -------- St. Anger Nothing Else Matters Master of Puppets -------- One Enter Sandman -------- So What! Dyers Eve This site features all their setlists on the tour, but I think you need to register: http://www.metallica.com/metontour/tours.asp Yes, they played Trapped Under Ice as recently as August 24 at the Peoria Civic Center.
