Are cicadas tame --- or just REALLY dumb? -=Mike Dumb. Good lord, they're dumb. They can't even fucking FLY correctly - they just sort of bumble around aimlessly until they fly into something, fall on their back, and just lay there until something comes along and eats them. But these things are fucking EVERYWHERE here in Northern VA, right outside of D.C. All day long, you can HEAR them - this odd, high-pitched whine which is, I suppose, their mating call, which sounds oddly like the weird noise the giant ants made in the film "Them!" It's only going to get worse, too, as they're about to enter into their most disgusting stage soon - dying by the thousands. The streets in my neighborhood are already littered with their brittle corpses. And the evolutionary purpose of this species, is what exactly?

Also www.livemetallica.com is where you can buy mp3s for any show on the tour for 9.95 or FLAC for 12.95. Especially cool if you went to a show, you can buy it as a keepsake. Just thought I'd plug those, since Metallica could use some attention and money!

I finally got it and have only watched the Mania of wrestlemania (seriously one of the greatest things they've ever put together), part of the Jericho/Christian match to confirm they edited out the slip (they did and it looks seamless), and Ulitmo's entrance which they went to a way wide shot for. I also watched Goldberg/Lesnar. The whole thing just seemed different. I felt like they were using different camera angles and cuts throughout the match that I don't remember. Most of the reaction is left in tact, but it's pretty obvious they cut out part of the prematch where they're yelling "You Sold Out" as it jumps from that to the goodbye song to the match much quicker than I remember. Also, I feel like the announcers were cranked up, and "Goldberg" chants were inserted over the boring chants which have disappeared. Also the entire post match has been chopped up. They cut out a lot of the "filler" its like Match ends, all of a sudden Goldberg is gone and Brock is in the ring and all of a sudden he gives the crowd and Austin the finger. I remember him standing there obsorbing the chants a lot longer. O well, I won't lose sleep, but there was definite editing done, which is a shame since one of the most memorable Wrestlemania matches ever won't be the same...

Camden Yards is def. one of if not the best stadium. Yankee Staidum and Fenway are historical but they're both (Fenway especially) old pieces of shit. I took my friends, one a Red Sox fan and the other a Cubs fan to an O's game and it was their first time at The Yard, and they were blown away. They couldn't believe how beautiful it was and how great the view was. The only other stadium that might beat it out for me is PNC in Pittsburgh. I went there last year, and it was amazing. I can't describe it but I've never had that much fun in a stadium ever. It's too bad the team is so bad, because they're wasting probably the best stadium in baseball. If I can steal a bit from the White Sox announcers: You can...put it on the booooaaaarrrrrrd, YES! Game 2 coming up in about 20 minutes, doubtful though because of storm's approaching.

I dont know who the rhyno guy is, but I wouldn't have brought it up. It does seem strangely odd that most of the cynics are ROH fans. TNA and ROH fans a like, PLEASE try to keep ROH out of TNA topics unless it actually concerns them (i.e. the booking situation, etc.)

It is America Middle East, founded under the same principles of the American Dream that is opressed either literally by hostile Arab nations, or politically by some European countries indebted to their suprisingly large Muslim populace. It's not right, and is why the United States will continue to defend Israel's right to exist as a free state and safehome for the long too opressed Jewish people, who would surely be subjucated to another Holocaust, this time carried out by the Arab world if they did not have an ally like the US standing behind them. If any of the rest of the region wishes to join Israel in the civilised world they are more than welcome.

I don't know how its like on other boards, because I'm sure it's both ways in many places, but at least on this board, TNA fans don't flood the ROH board to talk about how much they hate ROH. It's like ROH fans here are more obsessed with TNA than anything and the only explanantion I can find is that they are progressing towards being a national company while ROH is a video tape company founded by a child molestor. Look, create the one and only bitching about TNA from ROH fans for all I care, just try to contain it somewhat. From what I've seen I like ROH and when I get some more money plan on aquiring more tapes, but I'm a TNA fan too and I would like to keep the TNA folder from becoming the "bitch about TNA because ROH is holy messiah of the wrestling world folder "

Do I ask when the last time was that Hogan "brought the ratings"? -=Mike I don't mean to WWE levels, but in terms of casual fan interest and promotion, putting Hogan's face on the marquee at Orlando will get more curious marks to come check it out, and Hogan's involvement means Hogan doing a promotional tour and Hogan is the king of self promotion which means more casual fans watching the show. I'm not thinking from a quality standpoint but from a business one. Will Hogan's likely large salary demands negate any extra income he brings in through walk up sales and increased ad penetration? Possible, but that's for TNA to figure out...

The Orioles notoriously worst trade was trading Curt Schilling, Steve Finley and Pete Harnisch for Glenn Davis in 91. Infamous. I think Davis got into a bar fight early in the season, broke his hand and never played again. Meanwhile those 3 young players became a decent pitcher, an all star and a Cy young award/Hall Of Fame candidate. As for the Wizards, where to begin? Trading Rip Hamilton for Jerry Stackhouse was pretty stupid in retrospect. Thanks MJ. Oh and there's Chris Webber for Mitch Richmond, and Ben Wallace for Ike Austin and we traded Rasheed Wallace for someone I don't care to remember. God what stupid management...
