    Little Question

Moore is making a new movie....a COMEDY about SEPTEMBER 11th! What the fuck? and they criticize Bush for being offensive using 9/11 in his ads?! Moore says its a comedy because Bush as a leader makes good comedy....Is this guy like the most unlikeable person in the world or what?

    Little Question

God help me, I've clicked the online stream. Top of the hour news for now....hmmm I guess I'll have to wait to hear something OUTRAGEOUS~! from those LOONEY LIBERALS! The Ofranken Factor.....ROFFFFLLLLL Oh my god....the guest is...MICHAEL MOORE!!!!!!! I hear chewing... Everyone told Moore he couldn't release his book because it would ruin his career (hahaha) to criticize Bush after 9/11 but he was such a hero he did it anyway and it was already on its 9th printing by the first week, so he showed them!

    TNA-FSN info from Observer

It wouldn't have to go anywhere unless they wanted it to. It would be like WWE's syndicated shows. Show prelim matches and recaps...

    TNA on FSN

Two Words: Dupp Cup. No, really, I think they'll be fine. The way they're focusing on making titles important and the focus of the promotion is an excellent base. The way they have rankings and every week, everyone's trying to qualify for a title gives the titles prestige and the promotion a sense of purpose, and dare I say even a "real sport" atmosphere. The X cup helps too, giving a wolrd cup type feel to things. They should continue every few weeks to make that a tradition. Keep focusing on their own talent like AJ, Abyss, Truth, AMW, Sabin, etc. Along with more familiar names like Jarrett, Raven and Sting I think they have a very productive roster on their hands. Microme: The Red Shirts are gone, Joe Legend was released and Northcutt hasnt been on the show in weeks. And Watts hasn't been on the show in weeks either (well posthumonously through Goldylox's horriblly bizzare cellphone sketches that still pop up). Gilberti's ok. I like him and Young together. Anyway, they have the X division and it's a marketing machine. They need to promote Wrestling Reinvented as moves and wrestlers and fast paced action you can't see in WWE. The X division/X cup focus, combined with heavy emphasis on title belts and rankings will given them a very marketable identity. I think the fact that they need to keep it "toned down" and just stick to the matches rather than SHOCKING~! crap, is good for them in the long run. If I can quote Frankie Kazarian of all people "The future looks good".

    Russo calls for changes....

I think that goes under the definition of irony. I don't know, it seems he's legitimately changed his ways, and I suprisingly don't find him irritable at all as the fair face authority and the show's quality has improved since he returned, so good for him...

    TNA-FSN info from Observer

This is great news! I'm still a loyal orderer but it's getting quite tedious to buy the shows, have them taped and then wait almost a week to get them at school. TNA on free TV will be so much easier (and save me money!) Plus it would get a whole hell of a bigger audience. This might be an odd question, but I wonder if they would air on Comcast SportsNet too? See in the DC and Philly markets, instead of Fox Sports Net there's Comcast Sportnet that plays the local sports but also carries FSN programming (like Best damn sports show period). At home I get Comcast Sportnet DC and at school I get Comcast Sportsnet Philly, so it would really suck to be totally left in the dark, but hopefully it will be played on those networks as well, like other FSN shows.

    Little Question

Bill Oreilly mentioned this little project as his "Most Ridiculous Item Of The Day" and said the first and last thing he'll say about it is they're debuting on 4 stations while his radio show debuted a couple years ago on 240 stations (now up to over 400). So like him or hate him, I'd say that's a pretty effective diss....

    Family Friendly WWE

    "Flamboyant" for gay.
  11. Damn, I've never heard anyone say they didn't laugh at them competing for hugs. My favorite was the time they were arguing backstage while Vince was out in the ring with Regal. Regal shook Vince's hand, which somehow led to a nice manly hug. Austin and Angle see it on the monitor and both stare in shock, putting their differences aside because Regal is now a common enemy. I was holding back tears I was laughing so hard at that one. Anytime insane Austin and idiot Angle agreed on something (Like, blaming Debra for Vince leaving) was when it went from "Great" to "Fucking awesome" The cowboy hat incident was great too, with Angle wearing the little hat and thinking he was a real cowboy while Austin and Vince just stared at him. "Badges?! We don't need no stinkin badges!" I just about lost it when he said that. I think it's the Austin DVD and they show some of the segments being taped and they show Austin, Vince and Angle cracking up like when they tried to play the guitar and having to start over and retape. Good thing they taped them!

  13. Rock's disasociated inflated delivery of everything was just gold. Crowd: BOOOOOO!!!!!!! Rock (smiling like he's coked out of his mind): Oh yeah! Oh yeah! We're having a Rock Concert! Ha Ha!

Did anyone notice Paul London's facial expressions

So I guess Paul London's new gimmick will be the guy with funny facial ticks. They could have teamed him with Goldust, what a shame.
  15. I was just watching the Austin Appreciation Night deal (with the Angle milktruck ambush) as an extra on my Summerslam 2001 DVD. Funny, funny shit. As bad as the Alliance angle was, heel Austin and everything revolving around him was just so funny to me. It might of not drawn money but it was great. Watching Austin trying not to crack up as the whole roster sways back and forth "we are the world" style singing "Wind Beneath My Wings" to him is gold. JR's solo commentarry is hilarious too ("choking sound Pepto....JR needs some Pepto please!") They also show what happens after RAW goes off the air, and Angle sprays them down a few more times and then Austin gets the mic and says "The Alliance is never coming back here again!" and the crowd cheers, so he goes "On second thought, just because you don't want us to, the Alliance WILL come back!" Yeah, imbalanced/insecure heel Austin and Hollywood obnoxious Rock are tied for the most entertaining WWE characters ever. I would cherish a DVD with just all of Austin's segments from the night after WMX7 to Survivor Series 01 and Rock's segments from Feb to April 03.

    Encore presentation of RAW

I would love to have RAW replayed sometime during the week. It wouldn't get any worse ratings than the weekend B-shows anyway. During the Monday Night Wars, having Nitro replaying every night at 12 or 1 was like a god send because it allowed me to re-watch the parts of Nitro I didn't see when RAW was on. Obviously that situation doesn't exist anymore but in case I miss RAW or maybe there's a great match or something I want to tape...as Anglesault said, nothing BAD would come of it. I would love to see it repeated weekly.

  18. WWE Originals. God, I can't believe I bought that piece of shit. And Masked Man, I like The Other Side! In fact I'm listening to it right now. Reminds me a lot of Alice In Chains' accoustic albums (yes, I know it's practically a direct ripoff, but being that AIC is one of my top 3 favorite bands, I have no problem saying I LIKE Godsmack, and have no problem with them taking a lot of Alice's style, since Layne is dead and Jerry is without a label, I think they make an excellent "cover" band so to speak only with their own original material. I just don't get all of the Godsmack hate out there. Definitely the best "new" band out there). So, yeah, I really like The Other Side.

    Iced Earth "The Glorious Burden"

Bump, because I just got the album (2 DISC VERSION~!), and this is my first real introduction to Iced Earth (besides a few clips on the net) and being that Metallica and Iron Maiden are far and away my favorite bands it's no shock that I'd really like Iced Earth. I like Ripper's voice too a lot, I'm not really used to Barlow besides aformentioned clips, but just talking about this cd I love the vocals, he has the perfect mix of emotion and screaming to work. I hate bands with total screamers for vocals where you can't understand a word (it's pretty much the one thing that keeps me away from Lamb of God, who's songs I think kick ass until the vocals kick in which sounds like BWECHHHHHHBWAHHHHH!!!!) Anyway, being a good Maiden fan I love epics, especially those about history so the whole cd is just right up my alley. The whole Gettysburg (1863) trilogy is just so tremendous, it's like a classical music symphony only with metal guitars. I close my eyes an can literally see the civil war progressing just as it's being described. Tremendous. EDIT: I Just re-listened to the trilogy reading along with Schaffer's liner notes and lyrics in the book and it's like adding a whole 'nother layer. Just tremendous. History comes alive. When the Eagle Cries is a really nice, emotional tribute to 9/11 that's just beautifully done. Especially the accoustic version on the 2 cd version. It puts the thoughts of Americans on that day perfectly into song with the right mix of sorrow, anger and patriotism. Even songs like The Reckoning and Attilla that feature industrial like chanting vocals I'm finding very catchy and I love the old-school Metallica like guitar lines that gallop and riff along. Red Baaron/Blue Max reminds me of old Anthrax or Megadeth (more favorites! This band seems to be a conglomerate of my top 5 or so favorate metal bands). Waterloo which is a bonus track on the 2 cd version is probably my favorite song. I'm studying Napolean in my Western Civ class right now so hearing about what I'm learning in metal form is awesome. Anyway, I think I'm hooked and will be looking to get more Iced Earth (I'm gonna let Glorious Burden sink in with a few more plays though first!) I would highly reccomend that if anyone loves Iron Maiden and/or Metallica they need to get Iced Earth, and this cd especially if history and epics is your thing.

I've decided I'm voting for Ralph Nader.

He's from California (I think). I'd say the chances of that are slim. Not if this man can help it!
  21. Styles

Just so you know what you're voting for...

And the thing that, in hindsight, makes me respect Reagan all the more was when he simply canned ALL of the air traffic controllers and replaced them when they went on strike. If you want to strike when your job affects the entire nation, you can just rot. -=Mike Heh, it's like when Major League Baseball canned most of the umpires that went on strike. It's like you're UMPIRES no one likes you anyway...

Oh I get it now, you don't want to jink Kerry by supporting him. Come on, take a chance, vote for Bush!
  23. Styles

Just so you know what you're voting for...

eh, I'm pretty anti-union myself. As a college student I work a summer/winter job as a grocery store clerk, and without even having a CHOICE, I'm in the union which means they take a huge chunk of my already meager salary each week. Sometimes bizzare extra union fees appear from time to time. And it's impossible to get in touch with anyone to clarify what they're charging me for, so I just have to eat it. I mean, I know many unions do good for many industries, but for a freakin summer job, why do I need a union?! It pisses me off that I never had a choice in the matter and just must accept having chunks of money taken out of my weekly pay. On the flipside, I got full tax refunds from both the federal and state government because my "income" is so low. So, Bush Tax Cuts=I get all my money back and Democrats unions=tons of money taken without my approval. I think I know what side of the issue I'm on!

Yeah, I can't say I understand the logic. It's not like Nader needs your help to lose the election...
