VIVA LA RAZA! VIVA LA RAZA! WE'RE GOING TO NEW HAMSHIRE, AND THEN WE'RE GOING TO SOUTH CAROLINA! NEW MEXICO! DELEWARE! AND THEN....(heavy breathing)...THEN...WE'RE GOING TO MINNESOTA! AND NEBRASKA! He sounded like Roddy Piper. The guy is nuts. My dad: "He sounds like one of those wrestlers you watch".

It depends, it's all about the big mo, momentum. A poster in this thread just said he now might vote for Edwards over Dean. The pereception after tonight is that Kerry and Edwards are on the rise while Dean is falling out...

Ahh, now the WWE folder people can see what I had to deal with in the TNA folder... Oh, and just so this isn't +1, I'll agree to an extent that Orton gets a lot more crap than he deserves, and that he likely will be the next big WWE star, but it is clearly because of his connections and push rather than any talent of his own...

If it means anything, I think you're by far the least spineless and whiny of the spineless liberal whiners...

Clark: No connection between Al-Qaeda and 9/11
Styles replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
Well, he got tired and slipped pretty often as well. "I know how hard it is to put food on your family." Holy shit, we could spend an entire day talking about Bush's gaffs. Yup. http://slate.msn.com/id/76886/ -
TNA Going Forward On PPV Plans Without Hogan
Styles replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in TNA Wrestling
Actually they didn't include everything the Observer said. They actually said they're now pegging a date in the summer for the 3 hour show and are still hoping Hogan will be involved. They figured he doesn't want to jeapordize a possible WMXX appearence so they're now focusing on doing something in the summer. -
You're ignoring the point and changing the subject. Both of those were tragities because the people that died had no control over their deaths and did nothing to bring it upon themselves. Those kids brought upon their own deaths through their stupid and reckless behavior. I am not going to say "I'm happy they died" but I am very relieved no one innocent was hurt by their reckless, dangerous actions. Better them and no one else than a friend or family member of mine or anyone else who did not deserve to have their lives ended by a bunch of morons with no common sense or decency...

So, I guess Piper aint coming back...Actually it would be real fun if they threw the 2 in the ring together to see what happens like last year with Piper and Russo...anyway... 01.15.04 | Ex-Survivor Cast Member Joins TNA Wrestling The Man America Loves To Hate Ex-Survivor Cast Member Joins TNA Wrestling The men the American people admire most extravagantly are the most daring liars; the men they detest most violently are those who try to tell them the truth. – H.L. Mencken January 15, 2004 ( Nashville , TN ) —TNA Entertainment, LLC announced today that former cast member of Survivor: Pearl Islands , Jon Dalton a/k/a/ Jonny Fairplay has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling. Dalton is scheduled to make his first TNA pay-per-view appearance Wednesday, January 21, 2004 . Known as the “Rasputin of the Pearl Islands ,” Dalton 's infamy helped catapult Survivor's viewership back to the top of the Nielsen television ratings. Michael Booth of the Denver Post said, “Survivor is back on top with its seventh season, in the Pearl Islands of Panama , thanks in large part to ‘Jonny Fairplay', the consciously obnoxious beach bum who fabricated his grandmother's death to buy three more days on the island, and then bought three more days by swearing allegiance on her nonexistent grave.” The Survivor season finale achieved an audience of 25.2 million viewers and beat the combined offerings of NBC, ABC and FOX. For the week of December 8-14, 2003 , Survivor: Pearl Islands was the second, third and fourth most watched show, and it ranks fourth in household ratings and share in the 2003-2004 Network Primetime Series to date. “The most successful wrestling personalities evoke passion—one way or another—from the fans,” TNA President, Dixie Carter explains. “Based on the reaction Jonny drew from 20+ million viewers weekly, there's no doubt he will ignite both controversy and intrigue each week on TNA's pay-per-views.” “TNA is a wrestling company that is going to the top, and I'm going to take them there,” boasted Dalton . “I'm Jonny Fairplay, and I don't play fair.” A native of Danville , VA , Dalton has a background in professional wrestling with stints at independent promotions New Dimension Wrestling and Portland Wrestling. Dalton also worked as a production assistant for wrestling icon, Rowdy Roddy Piper. TNA Wrestling is the first-ever weekly wrestling pay-per-view series available every Wednesday night at 8pm ET / 5pm PT. Available on iN DEMAND, DIRECTV and TVN as well as Viewer's Choice and Bell ExpressVu in Canada, TNA features some of the most recognizable faces in wrestling today—including Sting, Raven, Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles, and more! With less talk and more in-ring action, TNA Wrestling has gained recognition as the definitive alternative for today's wrestling enthusiast.

So, wait they're depressed about their situation, yet when they decide to take their own lives they DON'T strap explosives to themselves in order to kill as many innocent civilians as possible?! But, but...I thought that's what happens when you decide to kill yourself? Maybe they weren't "Desperate" enough...

*"I'm Al Franken. I'm here to present the funniest ad award. I'm a last-minute substitution, former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill was supposed to be the presenter, but unfortunately he was murdered." Ok, now THAT is funny! The rest of it was typical garbage. I love irony of * "I think this last year has just proven how stupid Republicans are." (big applause) after going on an ignorant rant where she couldn't even get her facts straight. Yeah and the Hitler>Bush comment is just so darn offensive it doesn't even need to be acknoledged.

The video from the cop car only shows the taillights of the car, thus proving the cop car was at least 15 feet away which is plently of room for them to safely stop and pull over. Case closed.

Hamas uses first female suicide bomber
Styles replied to Masked Man of Mystery's topic in Current Events
Awwww....poor Hamas...the only thing getting worse is the sick philosophy of "kill the Jews" that continues to spread in the holy land. Get that wall built, and fortify it with tanks, that's about the only thing that might help... -
He had his chance, Vince showed no interest.

Interesting note: Backlash in April will be from Edmonton. Backlash is a RAW only PPV. Looks like Benoit gets SCREWED BAH GOD~! at WM, but wins the rematch in his hometown at Backlash.

The solution is simple: We need another steroid crisis. Remember when the feds indicted him in 92 all of a sudden Bret and Shawn, 2 small guys became the top stars pushed, and most of the midcard was pretty average/smallish guys as well. Big roided up guys like Bulldog and Warrior were released. Hogan came back smaller and was soon pushed out in favor of a new direction. What ever happened to that story out of Tampa with the steroid doctor with names of "very well known wrestlers?" Perhaps, history will repeat itself...

I'd go for the first 3 listed. Just as a reference, here are the top TNA shows I'd reccomend (taken from www.totalnonstop.com) July 10, 2002 World Tag Team Championship AJ Styles & Jerry Lynn© defeated Slash & Tempest Brian Lawler pinned Norman Smiley K-Krush pinned Hermie Sadler Mark & Jay Briscoe wrestled The Hotshots to a No Contest The Flying Elvises (Estrada & Siaki) defeated The Dupps World Heavyweight Championship Ken Shamrock© wrestled Takao Omori to a No Contest Six Man Number One X Division Contender Match Low Ki defeated Kid Romeo, Tony Mamaluke, Elix Skipper, Jerry Lynn, and Chris Daniels August 7, 2002 The Flying Elvises defeated The Spanish Announce Team World Heavyweight Championship Ron Killings pinned Ken Shamrock© to win the title First Blood Match Malice defeated Don Harris Jeff Jarrett pinned Apolo Lingerie Miss TNA Match Bruce pinned Taylor Vaughn Three Way Dance X Championship Low Ki defeated AJ Styles© and Jerry Lynn to win the title. August 21, 2002 Match 1 of Three Falls Number One X Title Contender Falls Count Anywhere Jerry Lynn pinned AJ Styles Chris Harris & James Storm defeated Brian Lee and Ron Harris Sonny Siaki defeated Jimmy Yang in a Best of Three Falls contest Brian Lawler pinned Slash Four Way Elimination X Championship Low Ki defeated The Spanish Announce Team World Heavyweight Championship Ron Killings pinned Monty Brown Match 2 of Three Falls No Disqualification AJ Styles defeated Jerry Lynn Match 3 of Three Falls Iron Man Rules - 15 Minutes AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn wrestled to a draw. Low Ki arrived and granted them both a title shot in a Ladder Match for next week. November 20, 2002 Sonny Siaki & EZ Money defeated Divine Storm Malice defeated Kory Williams The Harris Brothers defeated The SAT's BG James defeated Lenny Lane A.J. Styles defeated Crimson Dragon and Jorge Estrada in a 3 Way Dance NWA World Tag Team Championship America's Most Wanted defeated Disciples of the New Church © by DQ NWA X Division Championship Jerry Lynn © defeated The Amazing Red World Heavyweight Championship Jeff Jarrett defeated Ron "The Truth" Killings © after interference from Mr. Wrestling III. Jeff Jarrett is the new Champion; Mr. Wrestling III was revealed to be Vince Russo! December 18, 2002 X DIVISION GAUNTLET Jason Cross wins Other participants - Kid Kash, David young, Ace Steel, Amazing Red, The Maximos, EZ Money TAG TEAM 3 WAY DANCE America's Most Wanted defeated The Harris Brothers and The Disciples of the New Church B.G. James defeated Ron "The Truth" Killings 6 MAN TAG ACTION Amazing Red and The S.A.T.'s defeated Christopher Daniels, Low-Ki, and Elix Skipper JUNE 25 RESULTS AMERICA'S MOST WANTED WIN IN TNA'S FIRST STEEL CAGE MATCH! NWA TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH America's Most Wanted d. Triple X (champions) It was TNA's first cage match, and one that will keep people talking for a while as the top two tag teams in TNA faced off. It was a war, it was brutal, and it was bloody. At one point Elix Skipper wowed everyone with a cross body press off the top of the cage, but AMW did him up one better when a bloodied Chris Harris climbed to the top of the cage and hit The Death Sentence on Christopher Daniels to give AMW the victory and the World Titles! X DIVISION MATCHUP (NON TITLE MATCH) Frank Kazarian d. Chris Sabin (champion) Both are called "The Future", and with good reason as Kazarian and Sabin kicked off the 2nd year of TNA's X Division with a great matchup full of moves and countermoves. Sabin was very fortunate it wasn't a title match though as Kazarian scored the pinfall after a "Flux Capacitor" in a great exhibition of X Division action. HARD 10 TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINAL MATCH Sandman d. Sonny Siaki The winner would go on to the finals to face hardcore legend New Jack. Siaki had put Sandman through a table to go up 9-2 at one point, but then Sandman went to work with shot after shot. Finally, Sandman put Siaki on a table outside the ring, climbed the turnbuckle, and crashed through Siaki and the table below for the win. New Jack came out to the ring and shared a beer with Sandman after the match and spoke about the brutality everyone would witness next week in the finals. GRUDGE MATCH Kid Kash d. Erik Watts Kash was obviously mis-matched in the height department, but not in craftiness as he took the fight to Watts pulling out all the stops. Watts went to toss Kash in the corner, but the referee was in the way and was knocked out. Abyss took the opportunity to come into the ring and attack Watts. The referee came to as Kash made the cover and scored the victory. LIGHTS OUT MATCH Jerry Lynn d. Justin Credible The brawl began outside and never even made it to the ring. When Credible and Lynn re-entered the building, Credible was thrown into one of the cages that the TNA dancers use, and Lollipop was injured. As Lynn checked on her condition, Credible attacked and almost pulled out a victory, but Lynn executed a roll-up on top of the ramp for the pin. Afterwards, Credible handcuffed Lynn to one of the cage bars and attacked him with a chair. Jeff Jarrett & Raven d. Shane Douglas & Glenn Gilberti via DQ The match generally saw Douglas brawling with Raven and Gilberti mixing it up with Jarrett, obviously unfinished business between everyone. Not a typical tag team match as both teams went at it in and out of the ring with very little order to it. At the end, James Mitchell re-emerged, entered the ring and threw a fireball at Raven. Julio and Alexis came out to tend to Raven as Mitchell and Douglas went to the back laughing maniacally.
