I have an eBay question. I won 3 auctions from one seller, paid via paypal which was confirmed accepted a month ago, yet I have not recieved the items yet, and my emails to the seller have gone unanswered. Is there a way to get a refund?

If I remember correctly, the RSPW awards go from Nov 2002 to Nov 2003.

This is just what I found from a quick google search. http://talkshows.about.com/library/weekly/...y/aa020400a.htm http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,2890,00.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/82924.stm

No I've read that people are hired one week to play a cheating boyfriend and then the next week to play a KKK member. It's a work.

Springer is just as fake as wrestling (I read in the Observer that Indy wrestlers have been hired to play roles on the show, and sometimes come back to play a totally different role). Not sure about the others though...

http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...ST&f=12&t=44587 Umm.......shouldn't you be posting the link to this thread in that one!? This thread was around first. I made a thread for discussing the new run of the show, and pointing it out. This thread happens to be for the season finale. Why let the duscussion of the new "season" get lost in this thread for the season finale?

Completely tasteless, moreso because he's a judge, supposedly a man without biases. Stop making up "but, what if..." scenarios. Those other things have not happened, this has.

What if it's Midnight? You know, the lost sister of Harlem Heat that was named Midnight because she was black? Isn't she on Smackdown managing the Bashams, though?

AWESOME. By the way, early reports said there were 6 easter eggs, so it looks like only 4 were found, I wonder what the other 2 are...
-
Seriously, it's as if everyone became increasingly tired of you as 1inchpunch so you changed your name to erase that persona, but you're just as annoying as ever. We get it, you don't like TNA and want them to fail. Now go away.
-
Hey folks, there are 6 secret easter eggs. Shawn Michaels had 2 (Buddy Rose blowaway diet for the AWA match tie in, and his losing my smile speech) and Hogan had 2 also (Real American music video and him and Gene singing/playing bass). Anyone want to speculate on what the 6 could be or even what you'd like them to be? -Horsemen reunion, Sept. 98 -At the mental institution (special appearence by Scott Hall) -Flair shows up the night after Survivor Series 01 -The interview where he "had a heart attack". -Flair and friends turn on Sting to reform the horsemen in 95 -How about a montage showing all his world title wins (like the pins and him with the titles?) Of course those might be a little long, and likely they'll be short interviews or such, but we'll see!

Fine, in principal I agree, but the author was making one erroneous point and encouraging others to make the same point to the owners, and I felt the need to point out the errors. And just give Luger a chance. If he sucks, he'll be gone.

They DESERVE the criticism. They are signing a HORRID worker who has never drawn a dime in his life and pushing him above A LOT of the talented guys on the roster. And who cares WHY? As a favor to Sting? Sting is overrated, has been garbage in the ring since 1997 and has never drawn in HIS life, either. To give him a second chance? There are far more deserving people. When criticism is deserved, you shouldn't give them praise. I prefer the WWE --- but I'm not going to say that bringing back Nathan Jones is anything more than a horrible, horrible decision. -=Mike No one is using that criteriam. Everyone is harping on his drug charges and Liz's death, including the actual column that I was responsing to which encouraged readers to contact TNA and its parent company based on these circumstances. Not "he's a bad worker" but "he's a drug addict with an anxiety problems who's contributing to death in wrestling" or some nonsense.
-
I remember when WCW was tanking. I remember how out of touch the hardcore WCW marks were. You sound JUST LIKE THEM. It's like deja vu all over again here. Is there nothing TNA could do that might be viewed as "bad" by you? They bring in a horrid worker who nobody wants to touch and they stick him IN THE MAIN EVENT. He'll make more in one show than several of the boys make in a month. Honestly, I could see TNA re-enacting the ENTIRE Kane v HHH program and you'd call it "great and compelling television". And for what? Increased buys? That is HIGHLY unlikely. For a great match? Not going to happen. Luger getting a "second chance"? Luger has been given TONS of chances and has bombed. Vince gives him numerous chances, preps him for a BIG program that began with his run-in at SummerSlam '95 (because Luger said he was going to re-sign) --- only to find him on Nitro the next night. So he's a lying shit. He pitched a hissy fit about jobbing to O'Haire & Palumbo and decided to show his ass on PPV. So, he's unprofessional. He has gotten progressively worse over the years. He hasn't put over a SOUL in his ENTIRE career. Not one person was helped by working with Lex. Oh, but they're giving a guy down on his luck a second chance. Heck, Iron Sheik is available. He's physically in bad shape. Sign him. Tony Atlas is suffering. Sign him. -=Mike I'm not a Luger fan, but I feel the criticism they are recieving for hiring him based on his recent situation is unfair and am simply expressing my support as a reaction to the detractors.

Gauntlet for the gold is like the royal rumble. New participant enters every 90 seconds. The last 2 then wrestle a regular match. The last tag guantlet they did, had the final person remaining and his tag partner win.
-
Oh I forgot IT WAS ON A CHAIR too. Basically don't lift them all the way up, so theyre just kinda folded between your legs and then drop them on their head.
-
I sent a reaction to the Torch, let's see if they post it. I also sent this to the TNA and Panda email addresses provided: Hello, as a result of an internet editorial I'm sure you are getting some negative feedback to the hiring of Lex Luger. I would just like to express my support and appreciation that you are giving someone down on his luck a second chance. I will be rooting hard for him this Wednesday, and hoping he turns in the best performance of his life and will not judge him until then. I order TNA every week, and it is truly wonderful that they give opputunities to young wrestlers who would not get a break otherwise, and past stars, allowing them another shot in the spotlight. Thank you to Panda, Jeff and Jerry Jarrett and all other parties involved for delivering an excellent product.
-
Exactly. I'm not the religious type at all, but I would love nothing more than for Sting to sit down with Luger, reconcile whatever differences they have and turn him to Christ or something. He has reached rock bottom, and I for one will be rooting for him to give the performance of his career and find some peace in his turbulent life. If he doesn't...well I think we all know through countless examples this year alone what will happen if he doesn't...
-
I think they're overreacting. One has to assume that Luger is now clean because of his indictment, and I see it as providing a favor to one of their performers (Sting) by allowing his best friend another oppurtunity to show he has turned his life around and at the same time provide a big wrestling name from the past as a treat for fans. If he fails, he will be gone. He can't fall any lower, I think Luger's mere prescense will be a lesson in itself to the rest of the lockerroom. On a side note, I could also go the route that Hogan is an admitted drug user too, Steve Austin is a convicted wife beater and alcoholic and is the top star on RAW (where he frequently makes light of both counts), Booker T is a convicted felon, RVD openly condones drug use and countless other examples. No one's an angel. Stop with the hypocricy just because you don't like the guys ring work. He's suffered enough. Oh, and 1inch I know you didn't write the column, but you posted it, so what about your precious Raven, who admits in a recent Torch interview to have been on every kind of drug for nearly 2 years?
-
Big deal, a tear my quad all the time! Heck, I tore it this morning, and you don't hear me complaining!
-
hmm....I too have never ordered a shoot video, but this intrigues me. Iv'e heard mixed reviews on his tape quality. Is it worth it?
-
I really liked Raven/Mitchell. Raven has been in Flair mode the past few months carrying broomsticks to *** brawls. Sting/Jarret was decent too and the opening tag was pretty darn good too. But the Raven/Mitchell match meant a lot more.
