Nope. Zybysko never was a TNA commentator. Him and Teny did WCW Thunder "back in the day" though. I must say when Zybysko was on Nitro and the fans would chant "Larry" and Tony was running down the card, and Larry would just get up and become mesmorized towards the audience. It was hilarious because you could see Tony getting pissed off. What you might be thinking of also is Ed Ferrera (former Vince Russo lackey/writer) who was part of a 3 man announce team for I think the first 8 weeks with Tenay and West before getting into some conflict and quitting.

Shawn aint givin' Austin any on the first date

awww...that's so cute how Austin is all shy about asking HBK out on a date!

Agree about Flair/Anderson, but mark it down now, my gut tells me the Horsemen Reunite segment will be an easter egg.

What ten guys would you pick for the cover of a...

WWF: (just as a note, since Im sure it will get some comments for my first on the list, but the guy IS WWF, not only creating it but a central character in their comeback years and continues to be a main attraction.) Vince Mcmahon Hogan Austin Rock Undertaker Bret Hart Shawn Michaels Kurt Angle Andre the Giant Bruno Sammartino Just for fun... WCW: Ric Flair Hollywood Hogan Sting(black and white preferably) Goldberg Dusty Rhodes Lex Luger Steiner Brothers (Im counting them as one) Ricky Steamboat Big Van Vader Kevin Nash ECW: Shane Douglas Raven Tommy Dreamer Taz Dudley Boys (counted as 1) Sandman Sabu Cactus Jack RVD Rhyno -
-'Cause Stone Cold Said So was the first Steve Austin video release in 97 or 98. For those that don't have it, it's Austin in full character nararating over clips from his first WWF year, including his King Of The Ring matches, Austin 3:16 speech, clips from the Brian Pillman house attack, long clips vs. Bret Hart at Wresltemania 13, and a bunch of other random Austin beats up people segments. It's a pretty fun video if you're looking for Austin just as he was becoming huge, but don't look for complete matches or anything. -Undertaker: He Buries Them Alive is indeed a Coliseum video from the mid 90s. I don't have it, but Im pretty sure it's just the matches listed probably all from house shows or Superstars or something. A strange re-release likely to coincide with the buried alive match with Vince and his impending return to the deadman gimmick. -As for the Flair extras, the more the merrier!

Also reported, originally Hogan was going to appear on the show, and Scott Hall was contacted about him and Sean Waltman coming in to beat up Hogan, but all that was scrapped obviously.

He's not terrible. He's simply being pushed beyond his abilities as the X champ. He's not better or worse then Christian.

Sandman was basically Steve Austin before Steve Austin was. In 94/95 while WWF was presenting wrestling plumbers and clowns, ECW was providing things never seen before, including the Sandman, a foul mouthed, beer swilling (and cigarette smoking) ass kicker! Plus for a guy not in great shape he was pretty good, and could bust out some highspots too. Soon after Sandman and friends invaded WWF in early 97 (including WWF blurred beer drinking), Vince had an idea, and like most things that originated in ECW Austin started to do the same things. I'll agree the guy isn't worth much now. As for Shane Douglas, he's always been a mediocre worker that was his own biggest fan. Not to be questioned though was his charisma and mic skills. There were nights where the ECW arena was ready to KILL the franchise. And other nights where he connected as the flag bearer as a face. Either way, the guy could cut a promo. But he seemed to fail everywhere else he went, and he allowed his own bitterness over his percieved lack of oppurtunities (although he had a point in his WWF run where he was a lame teacher who Shawn refused to job to), and thus left on bad terms and bad feelings with just about everywhere he went. The role they seem to be moving him into now is best for him, kind of like Ric Flair, a manager/occasional wrestler, who can still use his promo ability to get things over without embarassing himself with his declining ring work. Hopefully those insights were helpful.

So...why didn't Sting come in during Styles' reign
Styles replied to The Ghost of bps21's topic in TNA Wrestling
Stop making strawman arguments. No one ever said, Styles was not good enough to go over Sting. No one has any proof that that's the case. Sting hasn't been motivated to wrestle, and at his pricetag TNA probably wasn't motivated to bring him back. But after promising Hulk Hogan and delivering Jim Duggan, TNA needed Sting to return to save face and hook viewers into ordering. The original agreement was for Sting to make 4 appearences, and he likely agreed to come in since he was needed. -
Highly in favor of it. If you haven't read Ken Anderson of 411's columns on how to save wrestling this is his top idea:
-
Yes, but you never threatened to floss with anyone's asshairs...
-
I guess that's why he's alwasy smiling and dancing now...
-
Wrestlemania main event right there. Its certainly more interesting then anything WWE is doing.
-
He doesn't adlib anything. He posts the same stupid stock answer about 28-32 being prime and everyone else is past it.
-
That was a short comeback. I guess being that this is his 32nd time trying this shit, he's past his prime...
-
Oh my god, he's like a cockroach...
-
What are you, his agent?
-
If I remember correctly, he's been banned 5 or 6 times (TCR told me on AIM). And, if I'm wrong, so be it. But since this troll is likely someone who has been banned before, then I wanted to say goodbye before he was no longer a regestered user anymore. Only common courtesy. Jason That was very polite of you.
-
Well, that was quick, I guess there WAS a loophole
-
This all makes sense. Except Ric Flair was "past his prime" for his 1989 series with Ricky Steamboat and Terry Funk, if I remember correctly. He was 40. Oh, and Kurt Angle's prime ended two years ago. So Royal Rumble 2003 with Benoit, all the Smackdown 6 matches, and everything with him is "past his prime." His prime included OVW days, of course, silly me. Everyone's prime is different. But, while you're back, I think that I should say goodbye before you get banned again. Jason Don't do it. He does this every birthday and goads everyone into the same idiot arguments....
