I'll give you Roy Halladay who is a true ace that the O's have no equivalent, but I wouldn't rank those other guys any better then Ponson, Lopez, Bedard and Cabrera.

I think the NL East is pretty wide open. The problem is all the other teams have deficiencies. The Braves still have the best pitching, but their offense is suspect. The Phillies probably have the best offense but their pitching is suspect. The Nationals are still the Expos and The Mets...are the Mets they still are relying on their big aquisitions to carry them which hasn't worked for them the past few years. Florida meanwhile might not have the scariest offense or most intimidating pitching but they're the most well balanced in my view. Their offense top to bottom is good and now they added the most feared power hitter of the offseson to their order (Beltran is more complete speed and defense wise but Delgado is flat out a better hitter). I don't see any glaring holes. Their pitching rotations was already heralded, and now with solid veteran leader Al Leiter joining a healthy AJ Burnett and if Beckett and Willis go back to their 03 forms, that's a tough staff to face. Not to mention Mota is the best set up guy in the NL and Alfonseca is a good closer. No, Mik is not paying me anything. I'm sure Al could break it all down with stats and projections but just from a casual baseball fan perspective, the Marlins have the most complete package to win the East, or at least take a wild card.

Deal. Give me ten minutes, and I'll bang out some analysis. I'm awaiting your analysis, hopefully you include how well you think the Jays will do this year. Do they have a chance against either the Yanks or BoSox? Bah, they'll be lucky to stay out of the cellar. I'm resigned to the fact that the O's are "glass ceiling"ed at 3rd place, but with Tampa Bay and Toronto below them, Im at least confident they won't finish any lower...

No offense, but you have no offense. Hah! I made a funny....ehem, seriously Delgado joins Miguel Cabrera, Mike Lowell, Lo Duca and Jeff Conine as a solid power base with great contact/speed on the top with Pierre and Castillo. Toronto still has Vernon Wells. That's about it. I know you guys got Corey Koskie too. Honestly I don't think I could name anyone else in Toronto's lineup this year and that is not a good sign...

It was Russ. I thought it was one of the Dupps? I believe it was one of the Dupps. The one that didn't make it to TNA...

Where's INXS to break this up with something like "he should just say he's sorry"? -
Yeah I hate the keepers waiver draft idea, it nullifies the point somewhat. We don't need 5, we already have 4. The fair thing to do, is give a list of of everyone's keepers that have already been chosen, and allow the new teams to go in order in their own "pre-draft" to choose 4 players from the remaining pot before everyone else. There's stil l plenty of top players avaliable, and this gives them a chance to nab some too. Then once everyone has their 4, we fill out the remaining rosters with everyone in a normal draft. I really reccomend doing it that way. Kudos on increasing the bench, and I'm torn on the weekly roster thing.

Yeah, in the other thread I kept alluding it but was no selled repeatedly.

This should probably be merged with the other thread for conveniance, but its good news that they've hooked up with a supplier that should hopefully get them on, and see this does confirm it will be an On Demand service...

I guess I'm the only one on the board who thinks Kane and Lita are the ones having an affair. We've seen it with Benoit and Nancy, HHH and Steph, Luger and Liz and countless other times, that on air pairings usually lead to real life relationships. Not saying there's any proof here, but if we are speculating, we know there's a veteran married wrestler having an affair with a Diva on RAW, and then it looks like Matt and Lita are having problems, and well she's been in an on air storyline where she's married to the guy and probably spends a lot of time with him for the past few months while her boyfriend is away rehabilitating. Like I said, maybe I'm way off but it does seem circumstancial...

Hell, I would have had him win the title for real when he "beat" HHH that night that never happened. I know they wanted Rock to take the title from HHH but they could have held that off, it would have established Jericho as a top star from the start and maybe now he wouldn't be considered glass ceilinged. The crowd pop for his win was enormous...

Russo isn't booking.

not true for me. I have the hbo package but I dont get hbood for free Well, at least through Comcast it's true...

^^^^ Why is everyone missing the obvious? No proof other then it seems to be a common rule in wrestling that on air relationships lead to the real thing...

If your talking to me, no. I don't want to fit into an internet posse. I barely post in HD or know most of the injokes around here. I just don't like that after one bad post, my name is used in posts about "terrible posters" and get that stupid running joke thrown in my face when I post elsewhere. Like I said, I just want to see if Frigid and I could come to a truce. If not, fine. Im certainly not interested in being an HD regular...
-
Look, I didn't post here to get torn apart by the Group Think driven HD sharks. I came to make amends with Frigid, if he doesn't want to accept, fine, I'll live. I'm not interested in hearing from anyone else, especially "me-too!" bullies... EDIT: And you misspelled "defense".

***3/4 Engagement. The wedding will be BONZO GONZO!

Shilling of TNA...in the TNA folder?! Egads! Perish the thought!

I don't think I'm that terrible. The Mike post was a joke, because I thought of Eric Bischoff's theme song in relation to Mike and the lyrics and how he feels about himself. I guess my humor is a little off. Frigid, I've never had a problem with you before, and honestly in retrospect the whole ordeal was stupid and I wouldn't have agreed with your banning afterall. I'm glad that you could come back. I was a little hyped up at the time and chose bad wording that I was probably rightfully made fun of for. I don't know if your allowed to make amends in HD, but I'd like to try. If you still want to think I'm a terrible poster, fine, it really doesn't make a difference either way. I'm not interested in being in a feud or flame war or anything with anybody. So, can we call a truce?

HAHA, poor Matt. Should be a hell of a match at WM21, though... EDIT: Shoot, image didn't work. It was a pic of Kane stepping with the chair on Matt's throat and Lita begging. Tryed to be funny...

Monday night is really bad for me. Will be taping RAW.

Well, shoot, we have Comcast Cable in DC, when's that gonna pick it up?

I guess like so many times in the past, life imitates wrestling...

I am fine with either Fri or Sat night. Could we bump it up to like 7pm Eastern Time if 9 is too late? I'd rather get the draft over with in one shot instead of letting it drag, but that's just me I guess. I'll be fine with whatever everyone likes the best. Oh, and I agree, more bench spots PLZ~!

If I were to be mean, I would point out that there's been several threads on this very topic before and just do a search... ...but since Im a babyface, I'll answer briefly. It is currently only avaliable on one cable system in Pennsylvania, as the guniea pig for the service. Since it is a trial, I believe they get it for free. WWE is still negotiating deals with companies across the country to provide the channell, and Linda Mcmahon in her recent Investor's Meeting said they would charge 6 or 8 dollars a month. The service is On Demand. It is avaliable only through digital cable. If you only have basic cable or satellite you will be out of luck. On Demand is like having a library of programs to choose from on screen that are downloaded to your cable box as you select them. You can start a program at any time and pause and rewind it like a DVD. Many On Demand programs are free with the digital subscription, but WWE 24/7 will be a pay service which means you subscribe to the monthly fee and get access to all the programming to access whenever you want and as many times as you want. HBO and Showtime and other premiums have a similar service where digital subscribers to their premium channel also get access to On Demand movies and shows from the channel with their subscription. I know I'm anxious to get it, and am frustrated that it's taking so long to get clearence but hopefully in a few months they'll launch nationally.
