  1. MSNBC reports the earliest results, from Dicksville, NH whose polls apparently open at Midnight...and...this is too perfect.... 15 Kerry 15 Bush 1 Nader Let the games begin! (they said they'd provide another update from the town next hour.)
  2. Bush will win 80%+ of the black vote. Easily. =Mike ...Kerry will not win the support of ANY minority groups. AT ALL. Sorry, I couldn't resist doing a little lampooning of Mike's confidence.
  3. aww they cut him off. I just realized its not after midnight in Texas, it would be just after 10, which takes away the coolness of the President making a speech so late.
  4. MSNBC: Bush is speaking in Texas LIVE~! It's W AFTER DARK!
  5. Well, Wisconsin just seems like a state that will vote Democrat, along with its neighbors Minnesota and Michigan. I don't take them seriously as swing states. Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida along with New Mexico and Iowa will be the big swing states.
  6. I have Iowa counted in my totals already. Wisconsin has been consistently going for Kerry.
  7. BEHOLD~! http://www.delawaregop.com/ It's actually fun because a lot of our local and state races have a chance. Bill Lee is really surging in the polls and could upset Minner as governor tommorow. It's at least a less lopsided state politically than Maryland. Im concerned about Ohio, but it seems Bush has maintained a razor thin lead. Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania is still it. Whoever wins 2 out of 3 will be the president.
  8. Bush 275-263. If New Mexico goes Kerry, Bush wins 270-268. Yeah, THAT wouldn't create a shitstorm, would it? I feel the same way Bob, I had never felt any doubt that Bush would be re-elected until this weekend. I'm very nervous. I'll be partying tommorow night with the Delaware Republican State commitee (yes we have one!), since I have been volunteering for a bunch of local candidates around here and I hope it will be a happy party. I guess that means I can't freak out here in real time with every state being called, but I can't wait to read back the 48 pages of replies. I have a feeling by tommorow, we'll still be up in the air anyway...
  9. Sent in my Maryland absentee a couple weeks ago. Bush, Pipkin for Senate and Floyd for Congressman. All 3 will lose in the state, hopefully Bush prevails nationally. I have never been as concerned about the election as I am tonight.

    It's your final chance

I would alow Maryland to run the city, rather than allowing the city to run itself. When a crack conviction can only BOOST your political career, they need to lose their voice. -=Mike Maryland doesn't WANT DC. Let them deal with their own problems...

    F - U, Election Observers

KKK was disenfranchising those voters by intimidating them from voting and stiffling their free speech! Yeah, this year's election bullshit with all the lawyers, observers, campaign operatives, etc. will make 2000 look like clockwork.
  14. That's a metaphor I think...

    Sunny Days

Shawn Michaels slipped the phrase in one of his interviews on RAW to be a dick and piss off Bret who was rumored to be having an affair with Sunny.

Before I post my reply..why would I get banned? I didn't do anything except voicing my point of view. I hope I didn't break any forum rules by posting my views, but if I did I appologize..reply is coming shortly.. You're GreatOne-esque in terms of really poor posting. -=Mike Mike, that was really low. GreatOne deserves better. If he never posts again...greatone would be my favorite around here. He won't because he was BAN PLZD~!

Hunter S. Thompson digs in his heels.

    A) I don't know who this is. B) It's looks very long and painful to read C) Johnny Depp? D) We have an EDORSEMENTS thread speciically so we don't have dozens of threads like this one for every public endorsement, editorial or opinion piece. A mod should close this or if they're feeling nice merge it into the aforementioned thread.

Tell this college student why I

Exactly, I stress to Czech when he goes to college to seek out a group like College Republicans on campus to at least find the support of other people who dare not be liberals on a college campus, you'll find there's more than you think.

Tell this college student why I

There's no need to argue, liberals just don't understand.

You're just the kind of insane ranting lunatic that drives independents to vote for Bush. Thanks!

    Electoral Vote Predictor 2004.

Green Bay 28 Washington 14 F I'd be freaking out, but the Red Sox won the world series this year, so the traditional rules are out the window...

Tell this college student why I

As a conservative college student I can tell you, just don't sweat it. If they're your friends, they shouldn't care if you have different political views. It likely won't come up much once this election finally ends. Otherwise, you need to stand up for what you believe in. Explain your views, bring up points they haven't thought of, etc. If they're receptive maybe you can come to a compromise on the subject. If they're being irrational, whatever, just ignore them, it's not worth arguing with crazies. I was yelled at by a bunch of lunatics in Kerry-Edwards shirts about how I'm going to be drafted to Iraq and come hom in a bodybag. There's no sense arguing, just laugh at them and walk on like I did. Otherwise, realize that you live in a bubble. The whole world doesn't think like young people do, academia does and at least in my case the East Coast, all 3 traditionally liberal. I'd reccomend when you go to college to seek out a College Republicans group on campus and get involved. It's a great way to meet like minded people and get involved in and support candidates and issues you believe in.
