They deserve to defend that homeland, and America is right in supporting them. Lord knows most of the rest of the world, would rather turn the other cheek and watch another Holocaust occur, to finish the job this time. America's support of Israel is the type of foreign policy that makes me PROUD to be an American, as I see so many similarities in our past, and a similar road to our futures.

It's amazing to learn what the two major political parties used to be like and how they are now. 60 years ago I might have been a Democrat. I'm not too sure what would have become of Tyler/Jobber/Jigg/etc. Although INXS would still be INXS, though... Ok, so on a carride back with a few friends, we were shooting the shit, talking about politics and Ralph Nader comes up, and the issue of the legality of him appearing on the ballot in places like Florida. Anyway, I argued that Nader will have virtually no impact on the election this year, as even in 2000 with the Green Party behind him and a strong media coverage he didn't even get 3% of the popular vote. Now, my friends were disagreeing with me, feeling that Nader will still be a strong force, since people are pissed at Bush and not confident enough in Kerry, and in fact believe he will get at least 5% of the popular vote. Now, I completely disagreed so one of my friends stuck out his hand and said "20 bucks". In the heat of the moment I grabbed it and shook. 3 witnesses. So...I need some feedback from you guys, will Ralph Nader get 5% or over of the popular vote this time, thereby costing me $20, or am I secure in believing he will get less than 5%?

It's nice to see President Bush trying to make nice to the scumbags in the UN, by telling them things they want to hear like how admitting the US made mistakes and actually pandering to the Palestinians, but it's for naught because they don't want anything to do with him.

He is a 9/11 profiteer, pretty much. He had a horrible rating before 9/11, and then went on to honor the same fireman he basically shat all over beforehand. Actually he was highly popular in NYC, and even those who disagreed with his sometimes gruff personality, respected what he had done to clean up the city both literally and figiratively. Only when the story about him cheating on and then divorcing his wife came out, did his popularity lower, but the true leadership he showed on 9/11 sealed his legacy forever, and will lead him to higher office in the future.
