They really upped the value this season. Last season, the "premium" version was All Access and included the MLB Audio package (all the radio feeds) and the condensed games and game highlights. Now all that stuff is standard in the regular MLB.TV package. As mentioned the new one has video thats twice the quality and the Mosaic deal. Heres a handy chart: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/subscriptions/compare.jsp?c_id=mlb

Just a reminder no trades can be officially agreed upon or approved until after the draft.
-
Derek Lowe, Pitcher, Los Angeles Dodgers

I've gotten requests from league members to please keep the chitter chatter about available players to a minimum. So...quick squealin' squealers!
-
I'm shocked Steve Trashcel is still around too, Marvin.
-
FUCK He's was my next pick. Hoping no one would remember him.
-
The picture you chose is like a brain teaser or a puzzle.
-
Please PM a list of players (in order of preference) you would like and I would be happy to make your selection for you.
-
You people just can't wait can you? OK, Round 7 is now up.
-
False. That team won't even sniff .500. Agreed. I don't know about "won't sniff" but I think we end up where we have the last 9 seasons. 70-79 wins.

I'm sure the Marlins won 3 out of 7 games against some good teams during that season (well, pretty much every team was a good team compared to them), so it can certainly happen.

Well, at least Belle was insured for the 3 years he sat out. Honestly DAVID SEGUI 4 years $28 million is pretty horrible as far as recent Baltimore history. Considering how many games he played for the duration of that contract: 82 (01), 26 (02), 67 (03), 18 (04). HORRID.

Why not? 11.79 strikeouts per nine innings over his career, three home runs allowed in 145 professional innings, and he was one of the youngest pitchers in his league. I've seen him start every time I would go to the Shorebirds and he just wasn't very impressive. Gave up a lot of hits, like balls scattered all over the infield. And not giving up many homeruns in the SAL doesn't shock me considering home runs seem to rarely happen in the SAL. It's just an odd A league for the long ball. I don't think he's that bad of a pitcher but he just hasn't shown me that "Wow, this guy is good" start. I've seen guys like Javier Vasquez, Erik Bedard, Hayden Penn and players like that, so maybe I've just been unfairly comparing his performance to theres. Those guys looked damn good with the Shorebirds. He's NINE-TEEN! No one's saying Erbe's ready now, he's a couple more seasons away, and he tired at the end of last season and they shut him down because it was the most he's ever pitched. He'll be something special though. You want to talk about a prospect, how about Billy Rowell? THAT'S what the O's desperately need, a homegrown power masher.

Ramon Hernandez, Catcher, Baltimore Orioles

King indicated it'd be a while before he made his pick, although he didn't specify how long he'd be away. Nor did he PM a list of choices. I also happen to hold the next pick after him. This makes me a sadddd panda.

Just tried. I can't. So just keep it open and hopefully people can just keep conversation in this thread...and not start revealing untaken players.
-
I can still edit the first thread though with it locked, right?
-
treble- honestly anything after my 2nd post with the list of keepers can be axed. You can even lock it if I can still edit the first post. It wasn't meant for conversation.

Verne sent me a PM for his pick since he knew he wouldn't be around. A good call always, people. Prince Fielder, 1st Baseman, Milwaukee Brewers

Round 6 is up. Nearly a full draft this round.
-
Oh well. Gregg Olson falling apart in the 9th is not something that team could afford. At least we outlasted Liriano.
-
You mean the ones that lost 21 straight to start the season? Yeah, that would have made for a competitive series. Al already covered this, but you're clearly thinking of another team. The '88 Mets went 15-6 in their first 21 games. He thought you were talking about the '88 Orioles, since we were talking about the '89 team.
-
Cone took the loss? What was he doing in in the 19th? I guess when you get to 19 innings, your bullpen becomes pretty depleted and you need to go to a starter.
-
Who is "Big Time"? Still 2 more teams need to sign up and then I can begin inputing the draft results.
-
No he can't. Boddicker was traded after the '88 season to the Red Sox for Brady Anderson and Curt Schilling.
