Bollocks. Why the hell did I think Swiss?

Why doesn't the WWE just say that Randy Orton is a pedophile and really wants Nick. Kayfabe? (

Since when did they relocate to Wales?

RVD is 'fresh'? Maybe 5 years ago. I'm a little too hard on RVD sometimes. I used to be a big fan back in 1999, when he was cool, and 2001 when he was actually fresh. But now, he's just another worker living off of past glories. His gimmick is outdated, he relies on running through trademark spots too much (when people mark out because you bust out a German Suplex, you know you're in trouble), he's pretty weak on the mic aside from when he's playing the 'cool' guy. It's been the same crap over and over for too long and he's grown stale. Maybe he's not as bad as I think and maybe I'm just jaded because back in 1999 he was a breath of fresh air. But I just don't care anymore. He's no AJ Styles. He's no Matt Sydal. He's no Jack Evans. He's no Sonjay Dutt even. His gimmick is based on being super athletic and super agile, a daredevil, a human highlight reel. His gimmick is 5 years out of date.

That's the thing, with England he doesn't have to worry about signing players. He's got a track record of bringing through young players and I'd expect Lennon to get more of a run out with him at the helm. And he's proven he's not afraid to chop and change, players and formations, if things go wrong unlike one dimensional Sven. On that score, Terry performed far above Gerrard, which was maybe as much down to the system as anything but Gerrard hasn't done much for England recently. Terry is perfect captain material, for me. I think they went on who was scoring in training. Carragher was apparantly 19 for 20 in training, so they stuck him in. Then again, I would have banked on Lamps and Gerrard to stick their penalties away and look what happened there. The Portugese First Division is made up of predominantly foreign players. Hasn't hurt them. They're World Cup Semi Finalists and Euro Championship runners-up. Foreign players in domestic leagues simply isn't the problem. The problem was Sven.

Orton isn't half as bad as 95% of people on here make out... ...but there's no way in hell he's carrying Hogan to a decent match.

Shiima Xion, the Swiss(?) fashion model with the hairspray? Only seen one match with him in, but I was suitably impressed.

See Waddle, Chris. When was the last time they had the chance? It's a dumb circle. People keep griping about English managers not winning any trophies, they need to go to decent clubs to win trophies and get experience, they don't get offered jobs with decent clubs because they don't have experience. Until someone takes a risk on an English manager, we're going to have this arguement over and over again. It's ridiculous. To be fair, McClaren got to the UEFA Cup final with a mediocre Middlesborough team. I don't think he's the right choice for England manager, but during the competition he at least showed he can spark teams into improved second half performances, unlike Sven. So, Beckham stepped down as captain. Again, I think he's got a lot of unfair criticism as well as some fair criticism, but I think it was time. John Terry would make a better captain, if only because of his position in the team.

The thought of them cutting promos on each other? Oh dear God!

Little late to the party, but still... Cena doesn't have "go away heat". It's more "you used to be cool, what the fuck happened heat". People resent the fact that his character has been watered down and underneath the booing, I think the vast majority are begging for the chance and the reason to cheer for him again. It's like he's being booed because people want the best out of him, waiting for him to snap back into his former self. Cena's wrestling ability, or argueably lack there-of, is just an excuse to boo him. If Cena had kept an edgier character, people wouldn't care about the terrible hiptoss or how weak his three 'money' moves are, because he'd entertain them. Look at Hogan. When the boom came along, people loved him. The fans gradually turned on him because the character was stale, the fact he was weak in the ring was just a fuel to the fire. The moment he freshened up the character with the heel turn, BAM, nobody really cared that he wasn't a workrate king again. Same deal with Nash.

*metal note- put Ki Krusher in stats* No, I only say that because I'm a Super Dragon mark and always call them Dragon Kicks.
-
Amen. Rough news, but hopefully they caught it quick enough.
-
The scheduled Bo/NRG vs. CW/SCM match will hopefully take place. Plus, Week 2 of Leon's 24/7 Open Challenge.
-
My 24/7 segment is in. I think I've finally lost it. Everything else will have to wait, because my laptop is on the blink and I need to get Battlebowl done.
-
So, Cowboy Kicks would also be known as Dragon Kicks, right?

I can't deny his talent. Although, he still has LONG way to go to be a threat in any serious field, let alone a grand slam. The stupid hype and pressure he's getting now is much too early, and could really damage him, if it hasn't already. That's the way the British media does things, unfortunately. Especially with Wimbledon. I don't think anyone really cares either way if Henman goes out in the first round or gets to the semis at the U.S or the Australian. But Wimbledon is 'our' tournament, apparantly. And because nobody British has won in eons, they get desperate to jump on the bandwagon. Same deal with the World Cup. It doesn't help that Murray's young too, because young talents are even more marketable. Murray needs to get the right coach. People keep mentioning Agassi because Murray's a big fan and they had some sort of training match or something before Wimbledon, but that's probably just joining the dots where they don't neccessarily join.

No, just feel like giving Raynor more stress.

Since when have soccer referees ever got instant replay calls? Hell, that's the main problem with soccer referees, that they're not allowed them. If anything, if he were a soccer referee, he'd have to hand out bookings to faces when heels faked being lowblowed.
-
The thing is, there's nowhere to build them to at the moment. Okay, so they can have a feud build across a few weeks and blow it off as a special TV main event, but then you've wasted a feud on TV, the exact thing people bemoaned about Hogan/Goldberg and don't want TNA to do with Joe/Jarrett. The only other option, besides holding out until whenever the ECW PPV is, is to build them up and have a blow-off match at whatever WWE PPV is next and that defeats the object entirely.

I thought they'd got rid of the term obstruction?

Apparantly, they're finally planning to put a roof on Centre Court. Still don't know why it's taken them so long. No. Mopey Murray is not a decent guy. Read just about any of his interviews, or what a little bitch he turns into when he's losing. He is simply not likable. Even by evil like me. He already makes me long for the days of Timbledon. I dunno, I like him as a player. He does seem a little uninterested when he's talking in person, but I'm not going to criticise him for reacting badly when he's losing. Maybe because that's how I always played tennis (when I did. Badly.). I see a lot of MacEnroe in him, maybe because of the hair, but he seems that sort of a player. He looked good yesterday. Far too soon for him to make a challenge, but in a couple of years maybe.

What do we do if Janus is our marker?

Okay, I need EVERYBODY who's writing a tag match to let me know who's winning their matches ASAP, otherwise there'll be no battle royal. So, another running tally of who's told me... 1) Tony 2) Bruce Blank 3) Adam 4) PFL 5) EWC 6) PK 7) Alf 8)

It's about time people started to boo RVD. Now, they just need to do something with it. Face RVD is stale as month old bread, he's been doing the same crap for 5 years. Let him be cocky, let him throw in some mannerisms like he did in ECW and for crying out loud, USE SOME NEW SPOTS ROB!! You can take virtually any RVD match from the past 3 years and again, it's the same crap. Have him actually DO something! All you hear is RVD being a 'great athlete' and an 'innovative wrestler' but he's been nothing of the sort. And that's not just the mythical "WWE style's fault". All the hype for RVD was great in 1999, because he was innovative and he was doing something exciting. Now? He's no Jack Evans. He's no AJ Styles. He's in Petey Williams' league, getting by on the old standbys even though they're probably capable of more. Also, why whenever we see Van Dam backstage is he busy shadow boxing, yet when he steps in a wrestling ring he throws some of the weakest punches going?

~! They need to get the 'stache~! on the main show, ASAP. Abercrombie is the man, like Joey Ryan, only a more entertaining version.
