Cruiserweight Battle Royal Likely For WMXX
King Cucaracha replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Meh...considering Mania's got so many 'big name' matches rumoured, I'm surprised they're even considering this. I don't like it, much like AS...and hell, I'm a battle royal mark. But anyone who expects more from Vince is deluded. He only really sees big things for a handful of cruisers. I think it's a decent idea when you think about it. WM 17 had that filler Gimmick Battle Royal, and it was fun. A fun Crusierweight melee is better than no Crusierweight match, and seeing as they're about the only two choices...I'd settle for it. Plus it'll be a refreshing change from the big time matches at Mania, which is good. Still...we'll see if this happens or not in a few months won't we. I'm not holding my breath. As for Taz...that's pissed me off. Face Taz is doing NOTHING wrong on commentary. He's adding more to commentary as a face than he does as a heel, and he's not believable right now in heel mode. He'll have to be a complete TE esque jerk again. Plus that means Cole has to play uber-face to compensate, which is when he's at his worst. -
WWE catchphrases and sayings that need to die

Not unless he harasses another underage girl. Wasn't he cleared of that? -
Lawler knew how to put on a great feud with someone, one of the best being with TERRY FUNK.

WWE catchphrases and sayings that need to die
King Cucaracha replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
C L B...Fifi...calling Matt Morgan 'the blueprint'. There's a bunch of them. The worst one though, not sure whever it counts because it's only a t-shirt and he hasn't said it more than once or choice I don't think...but I'm begging the E to give Angle a new shirt. The 'Freedom of Choice' one he has now is lame beyond compare. And anything Cena says now that he over-exaggerates at the wrong time. The Cena/Heyman/Benoit skit on Smackdown was pretty good, apart from Cena raising his voice at the wrong times, at the wrong pitch. The worst one being his 'Word Motherfreakin' Liiieeeefffeeee'. -
Yeah, she was the one who got put through a table. I watched SS2000 the other day, and it was surreal to see her wearing ho gear, considering her usual attire now.

LMAO! Funny thing is, the last show was filmed in front of the same fans, so he was there again. Anywho...quick question. Which Armstrong brother was Badstreet again? Because he did an interview last week, and at times sounded just like Brian...but I didn't think it was him.

SJL Wrath Card - January 18th
King Cucaracha replied to Longdogger_Pete's topic in Smarks Junior Leagues
Cheers for noting that Pete. I may mention it, may not...just checking so I didn't put my foot in it. Then again, some weeks I can't even write the right arena name...so, meh. -
My point is that you are like a bitch that doesn't know when to quit. And if you are in the ny area name the place and the time, i'm itching to smack a little bitch like u around.I was going to live it alone but you still want to talk shit. This folder really HAS gone to shit. humongous...this is the internet. People aren't going to organize a fight with you and drive down to wherever you live just because you like RVD and they don't. Then again, you know that. Trying to sound big by threatening someone on a messageboard isn't going to be taken seriously by anyone. Ghetto...I agree with you on the leg scissors arguement, because it was leading somewhere in that it weakened RVD incase he hit the Frog Splash. AS mentioend kayfabe terms. In kayfabe terms, wouldn't RVD be nursing his ribs from his match last week with Henry seeing as his offense is focused on the back e.g the bearhug. AS...I agree with you too. Restholds shouldn't be longer than 2 or 3 minutes unless they're wearing down a bodypart for a later submission or they lead somewhere. However, I think it was leading somewhere as I said. It may have been sloppily applied (in other words, it was), but to his credit Orton put a lot of emotion into the move while it was applied...showed more signs of being a heel than many times in the past few months, had the thought to turn it into a pinfall at one point...no excuse for an overly long resthold, but it's not like he just laid there. The blame for it not leading anywhere goes to the fact RVD didn't hit the 5 Star. I can't remember his selling after the Rolling Thunder, but if I can't remember it it may not have been too good. I understand your annoyance with the resthold, but I do think your Orton hate is at times slightly over the top, and maybe that's why people pick at your opinions that seem anti-Orton.

Some people need to realise, controlling a match doesn't mean you deserve all the credit. RVD deserves credit for carrying Orton through the match sure. Then again, that's his job as more experienced wrestler in the match. Orton looked good as well, like Dames said. I liked his match with Val on Heat a lot, but to pull out a decent match with that sort of injury still takes some credit on his part. Orton has impressed me recently in the ring. And showing the class to go out and praise RVD for helping him through the match has to be a plus point. Orton could easily have took the credit himself if he wanted. It's nice to see someone be professional, and show kudos to a fellow professional. Both men deserve some kudos...despite what most people on this folder think about them.

who gets as much sterotypical Smarkish hate, and the same level of lame nickname, as RANDY ORTON.

who was playing up a gimmick of another wrestler...quite similar to Glen Jacobs' portrayal of FAKE DIESEL

SJL Wrath Card - January 18th

I'll be promoing once I re-write it. Alan's Disney ending has meant a few changes need to be made. Although, I may still keep calling him Dumbo. Quick question...are we mentioning the impending 'Total Bumpage' on screen or not? -
PROMO - SWF & Disney Part Ways
King Cucaracha replied to The Amazing Rando's topic in Smarks Junior Leagues
*reads promo for show* *reads Disney jokes* *angrily deletes the lot* Just as I was getting the 'All Man But The Mice' moniker over. Oh well...what can I say, apart from I hope you find it a good decision. -
They gotta change something in the rumble
King Cucaracha replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
I have no problem with people fighting on the outside. If you stop it during the Rumble, you might as well say 'no fighting on the outside in singles matches' as well. The running out of the ring can be a good way of building cocky heels (Nowinski) or cowardly ones (Lawler), seperate action from the inside of the ring when there's many people (Austin in Rumble 98) or when the story needs it (Austin/Vince, which stupid as it seemed gave the Rumble a story through it's otherwise mediocre parts). I don't think you can really outlaw wrestlers from going outside the ring, Rumble or not. Going out of the ringside area equalling automatic elimination would be smarter. The other rules...fine. -
Whatever the next show is Predictions~!
King Cucaracha replied to HollywoodSpikeJenkins's topic in Smarks Junior Leagues
You didn't say that. TELL ME...you didn't just say that... SINGLES MATCH David Cross vs. Manson Isn't it obvious? SINGLES MATCH "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins vs. Todd Royal Can't go against the Toddster, can I? Should be close if Spike shows, seeing as he won last time...although, Todd is the 'no gimmicks wanted' SJLer. SJL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix vs. Jimmy "The Demon" Liston GL to Liston...show or be doomed. MAIN EVENT Alan Clark vs. Jacob Helmsley Again, best wishes to Jacob after what happened...RL sucks. Even so, Alan's gonna be pumped for a win. Oh, and Alan...remember the 'eye injury'. -
Sorry to hear about your wife 'Jacob'...it's obviously been a bad week in RL for some of us. Anyway...thanks to all for the positive feedback. Todd, I enjoyed your match and think you did a good job for a 'short match'. Believe me, I've had a few rush job matches recently...and yours are obviously better than mine Spike...if you want to do that promo this week, then it's still fine by me.

You know what shocks me. People like Ultimo, who are supposedly intelligent men, going to the WWE KNOWING Vince's opinions of big man wrestlers being more marketable than smaller wrestlers... ...which he's fully entititled to. Just because you don't agree with Vince doesn't mean Vince HAS to agree with you... ...plus the fact he's Japanese. Despite all that, Ultimo leaves his homeland, leaves a confortable position in Japan bringing up new talents like CIMA, and actually THINKS Vince will push him. Any cruiser who expects to arrive in the WWE and be pushed over a big man by Vince, no matter how talented they are, is quite frankly either an idiot, or deluding himself. And yet, in 2004, indie stars will still move to the WWE, and then wonder why they're not getting pushed. The evidence is all there. All Spanky/Ultimo/London needed to do was look at Vince's track record. Any cruiser who doesn't know Vince's preferences by now is an idiot.

Major Announcement & Schedule
King Cucaracha replied to Longdogger_Pete's topic in Smarks Junior Leagues
HEY, I just realised. SWF has Tag Team Titles. *smiles at Todd* -
Why not rename the entire folder that...The "Let's Bash Vince and Co..." thread. And every thread must continue on from that. Kinda like Friends, and "The One With..." And Shane isn't high on hosses? I thought he was Test's buddy. And Show's. Sorry for that...let the 'Vince bashing because his opinions on what makes a wrestler don't comply with the general smark's' continue I guess.

I take it I go from the Earthquake one... he was back in the WWF under a mask as Golga, and teamed with, for one, GIANT SILVA
