Giant Asteroid to hit Earth in 2014

Not me. I want to see what happens. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): There's a big bang, and people die. I'm still looking out for the last three that were supposed to hit the Earth.

    Owen Hart in NWA/WCW

It was weird watching the match...remember, this was back in the days of the Blue Blazer. Hart was doing stuff that you wouldn't see anywhere else in WCW...except maybe from 'The Juicer'...it just surprised me WCW didn't snap him up. The fact he was wearing a too tight yellow/orange singlet was weird too.

Coach vs JR at the ppv

They need to add Snow and Lawler and make it a tag match. At least those two are 'half workers'. Plus I'm a Snow mark. That is all.

One and Only NWA: TNA 8.27 Thread

Flair WAS booked weak...hell, nobody even sold his chops for about 10 years. Oh, and ECW actually did a one ring War Games match at Cyberslam 1999 if I remember correctly. Bubba, D-Von and Mustafa vs Balls, Axl and New Jack. Not a great match, but bloody as hell. It can be done.

    Where should WM XXI be?

How about the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Open air, big capacity...that way, I have a good chance of getting to a Wrestlemania. And the last big PPV in Britain was Summerslam 199freaking2. Sure, it'll probably never happen, but it should damn it!

    Pete Gas Coming Back?!

This is better than Coach turning heel...sure, he can't wrestle, but it's FUN FUN FUN! A Posse reunion on Raw would do no harm, because the people who'd hate it are beyond caring anyway.

EWR 4.0 Has Officially Been Set Free!

You're the second person to report this. Must be another random surprise built into the game. Now you must do a break up and feud them. Make that three...well almost. Low Ki and Daniels have started disliking each other, but I don't want to break them up. Does it have to be a hate relationship before I break them, because they're one of the best tag teams in the game.

You need an Alexis sign. Sure, it's not strictly TNA anymore, but still...maybe if Vince sees the sign, he might realise he's just signed her.

    Eric Bischoff

Ok...I realise my post has been no sold, but look up and I've just shown that this can be explained with logic. What logic is there in Christian running out there when Bischoff has already said he's made a plan. And if he wanted someone to help him...why would have asked the 10 time tag champ, the IC yadda yadda yadda...he could have just asked Kane. 'The fact remains' in kayfabe, Bischoff had good reason to choose Coach. It's not just about who has more title reigns or who can swing a chair better.

    Official Kane Horribly Burnt/Dead Threat

He dropped it to make Bischoff sign the contract for the Kane-Bischoff match didn't he?
  18. King Cucaracha

    Eric Bischoff

It's not about 'better' back-up. In kayfabe of course...First of all, it came out of nowhere. Shane didn't see it coming despite seeing Coachman at ringside. Secondly, the match was 'No DQ's at the time Shane got chair shotted. If Christian was out at ringside, the plan wouldn't have worked as the referee most probably would have sent Christian back to the dressing rooms. Coach was out there doing his job. He had as much right to be out there as Tazz(damn...Tazz should have turned heel and joined Bischoff) or even Chimel. Thirdly, Bischoff was smart. By using Coach, he could get one over on JR and King. Coachman wanted to get back at JR and King, as did Bischoff, so they both had a common enemy. And by getting to JR, Bischoff also got at Austin, but indirectly. Christian is not feuding with anyone Bischoff has an immediate problem with, so has no reason to be out there. And of course fourthly, Bischoff had already set the trap...adding Christian to the trap would take talking over with Coachman, who was out at ringside so wouldn't have known about the plan without Bischoff letting the cat out of the back. See...Christian would have been the better, more effective choice. But Coachman was the better choice because Shane didn't expect, the referee didn't expect it...and it will have angered King and JR(or should have angered them...)

    The 4.0 NWA:TNA Diary

*sends bomb to North Carolina* Damn you York and Matthews.... You might want to save that bomb...remember, there are six main characters on Friends... *NEXT WEEK'S PREVIEW* ~It's Show 18. We go by shows now instead of weeks, because this is the second show of the week. Simple really. Anyway, it's the last show of the year, and it's a huge main event. A.J Styles vs D'Lo Brown, the NWA World Championship on the line inside of a fifteen foot high steel cage. The long standing battle between these two should come to a head in the cage, but who will walk out the NWA World Champion? ~Ron Killings answered the open challenge of Shane Douglas last week, and these two will go one on one to end the year. However, by mutual agreement, the two have agreed to face each other in a hardcore match. ~A very special guest has been promised to be in the Asylum this week. The only information we know is that he is a returning star. With that in mind, who could it be? ~In championship action, World Tag Team Champions Triple X defend against America's Most Wanted. These two teams are no strangers to each other certainly, and it should be a battle. ~A new X-Division number one contender will be crowned in a 4 way elimination match. Chris Sabin, Julio Dinero, CM Punk and debuting Scoot Andrews will all go for the shot, with the winner facing Frankie Kazarian next week on the first show of 2004. ~Ekmo has the night off, so Erik Watts will take up dark match duty with Watts Cooking. Special guests this week...Elix Skipper and Jonny Storm. ~US Champion Kid Kash is in action, teaming with Network team-mate Swinger to face The Amazing Red and Sonjay Dutt. All this, and much more from the year end edition of Anarchy in the Asylum.

NWA:TNA- ANARCHY IN THE ASYLUM, SHOW 17 Announcers: Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson Hardcore Match, King of the Darkmatch Title El Midgeeto© vs Ekmo Well...the title change didn't work. El Midgeeto still isn't over. And I have little patience. Plus, Ekmo won't job to him. So, no problem. Ekmo and Midgeeto put on a decent enough match, but in the end the crowd really didn't care. Plus, we've got the 'overall rating is lower than the average' thing going on, so that'll drag the whole show down a notch. Here, Midgeeto puts up a fight, mainly with a trash can lid shot, but gets squashed...literally...with the Flying Splash, and Ekmo wins back the 'prestigious' KOTD Title. Just for good measure, after the match Ekmo uses a steel chair to knock the youngster out. Boo! What a heel. Winner and new KOTD: Ekmo by pinfall Crowd: 40% Match: 63% Overall: 45% Dames Rating: *1/4 (This is a lesson in 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. Ekmo wins back the belt at the first possible opprtunity. And Midgeeto needs to get over. But seriously...the backlash against Ekmo's loss swung it for me. And, thankfully, I have come to my senses...Ekmo must remain top of the dark match world! Viva la...Ekmo!) PPV time, and as the Pay Per View begins Bret Hart is stood in the ring just days since his disgracing and defeat at the hands of A.J Styles. Bret begins to speak on how he's through with wrestling and will now continue his commisonary duties, as suddenly here comes A.J Styles from behind, and he clotheslines Bret down! The crowd are on his back immediatly, as the stomps continue...but suddenly police swarm the ring. Cuffing the World Champion, they drag him of as Bret gains the microphone, and tells Styles that next week, the winner of tonight's main event will be facing him for the World Title...but it will be no ordinary match. It will be...A CAGE MATCH!!! Didn't we just have one of those? Oh well... Overall: 81% (Yes, a Cage Match next week to end the year. A year of big change for TNA...most of it coming in the past couple of months. The poor man's RoH as I know it. Or the work-rate man's WWE. Either way, Styles defends in a Cage Match next week.) A recap of last week's face turn by CM Punk on Julio Dinero plays, followed up by a few clips of the Second City Saints in action in RoH. By the time we come back to the ring, Alexis and Dinero are in the ring. As the remaining members of The Gathering, they have issued the challenge to Punk and Cabana. And Dinero is sick and tired of being everybody's lackey, and he's taking charge...Alexis cuts him off, and informs him she's the leader. And it's her duty to introduce us to the new member of The Gathering...Doug Basham! Yes...Doug Basham. I would have brought in both Bashams...but Danny's wage demands compared to his skill are laughable. I guess that's what being a WWE wrestler for about a month'll do for your ego. Tag Team Match Second City Saints vs The Gathering The Second City Saints run down the aisle soon after Doug gets in the ring, and Basham starts off fired up. Punk quickly gets isolated as Basham...well...bashes him. A double suplex puts Punk down as Dinero starts to work away, until a superkick from Punk catches him on the jaw. Punk tags Cabana, Cabana house en feugo's for a little while before Basham and Dinero doube team him. Nice teamwork for a new team. The double tag comes, but Alexis' distraction allows Basham to catch Punk from behind, and nail a snap powerbomb to get a three count for his debut. Alexis enters the ring after the match, and the beatdown begins, three on two. This is not over. Winners: The Gathering by pinfall Crowd: 56% Match: 68% Overall: 55% Dames Rating: * Notes: CM Punk debuted his new gimmick, it got a positive response (CM is now no longer a lackey. Alexis will change her gimmick too. The Dinero and Punk feud is already better than the Punk-Raven one I just ended. Decent enough debut for Basham...so good all round for this. Pity about 'the show doesn't click' ratings.) NWA US Title Kid Kash© vs Sonjay Dutt Dutt may not be over, but he's still a decent wrestler. I just need to find the right gimmick I guess. Judging from the crowd reaction, 'Suave' Sonjay Dutt isn't too good. The match however was great. Kash and Dutt clicked apparantly, and give a good effort to impress. Kash does the usual 'I'm the heel champion, you're a face rookie, so I'll insult you a bit' thing, embarassing the kid before his fight back. Taking the punishment and high flying moves, Kash then steals the win by countering a roll up with one of his own, and a handful of tights for good measure. Dutt tries to tell the referee about the tights, as meanwhile here comes The Amazing Red. He lays out Kash before hitting the Infra-Red, sending a message to Kash. Winner and still US Champ: Kid Kash by pinfall Crowd: 46% Match: 92% Overall: 62% Dames Rating: ***3/4 Notes: Sonjay Dutt debuted his new gimmick, it got a negative response. The NWA US title has gained in image. (Dutt's just earned himself a push methinks. Pity his suave gimmick didn't get off to a good start. Kash and Red meanwhile continues on, and will do so for a while.) The Perfect Strangers rip off plays, as Shane Douglas walks out to the ring after the last match...for what, we're not sure. He takes the microphone, and moans about not being in the main event, not getting a title shot...so he's issuing an open challenge for Sunday night's year end show. Enter Ron Killings, who still wants his one on one match with Douglas. He's out to accept the match...and Douglas agrees. Overall: 76% Notes: Ron Killings's turn was completed, and he is now a face. Ron Killings gained overness from this turn. (Killings had to be turned face, and this was the best way to do so. Douglas vs Killings next week... Tag Team Match America's Most Wanted vs Skipper and Romeo Another example of my vast tag team division, two great teams in almost an unofficial number one contenders match. Yes...we have imaginary rankings. Back to the old days, when a win meant moving up rankings. Both teams have spells of offense with the tag team wrestling tactics we're all so accustomed to, before it seemingly comes down to Skipper and James Storm. A Tornado DDT gets a close two count for Skipper, but is then booted in the gut and hit with the Death Sentence to end it. Winners: America's Most Wanted by pinfall Crowd: 65% Match: 78% Overall: 63% Dames Rating: **1/4 (The reason I called this an unofficial #1 contenders match is I still don't have official plans for the belts, but I have a feud with Triple X and the AMW I'd all but forgotten about.) Backstage, a limousine pulls up in the parking lot...and out steps The Unsackable One Jeff Jarrett. Walking into the arena, we see he has a guitar in his hand, as Hudson and Tenay comment on how late he is. Hmm... Overall: 73% While this has been going on, it gives us time to get the Super F.R.I.E.N.D.S out into the ring. They are now wearing typical Chandler and Joey clothing...and look totally out of place in a wrestling arena. This of course is NWA:TNA's answer to S.H.I.T. I just need to find a funny set of words for F.R.I.E.N.D.S. All this dots and capitals are pissing me off, but it's worth it. They're out here to...wait, Joey stops. He's seen a female in the crowd. She's about the only one out of 3417 people paying any attention to this, so obviously she's noticable. A quick 'Hey...how you doin' actually gets a small pop from the crowd. Anyway...they're out here to introduce a F.R.I.E.N.D of theirs'. A good F.R.I.E.N.D. A F.R.I.E.N.D who can't just simply be a friend. She is Pheobe...Ward! Here comes the female formerly known as Shannon Ward...now bleach blonde and looking more feminine than usual. They meet in the ring, and then leave. Overall: 57% (And to think...you wanted me to have Pheobe Laree. Tsk tsk. You I'd waste her on this? Shannon Ward however was doing nothing, so she's in because it gives her something to do. Plus she already has a weirdo gimmick, so it's perfect.) Main Event, Four Way Elimination Match World Title #1 Contendership Raven vs D'Lo Brown vs Ron Killings vs Shane Douglas With A.J Styles being arrested earlier in the show, he won't be a factor in this match...a match which the crowd are hot for. With all four men in the ring at the same time, all hell breaks loose from the start, with Killings and Douglas going after each other for the majority of the match. Raven and D'Lo go after each other in the meanwhile, before the match slowly opens up a little. The first elimination comes with the Sky High on Killings by D'Lo, with a little assist from Douglas in the process. Raven and Douglas seem to team up on D'Lo from there, until Raven suddenly hits a DVD on Douglas from nowehere to eliminate him. Douglas doesn't want to leave, referee have to try and remove him...this distracts the referee in the ring, as through the crowd comes The Unsackable One(and don't you forget it), and he smashes the guitar over the head of Raven! The crowd pop, D'Lo looks surprised...but goes to the top rope regardless, and hits the Lo Down to get the pin and the title shot on Sunday night! Winner: D'Lo Brown Crowd: 78% Match: 66% Overall: 66% Dames Rating: *1/4 (D'Lo-Styles in a Cage next week...as if I was going to go with a different ending. This one will end the feud, and hopefully it'll be a good enough match to get some extra attendance.) Overall Rating: 66% Attendance: 3417 Buy rate: 0.21 Best Match: Kid Kash vs Sonjay Dutt Hottest Match: D'Lo Brown vs Raven vs Ron Killings vs Jeff Jarrett Worst Match: Ekmo vs El Midgeeto Best Segment: Styles attacks Bret and gets arrested Worst Segment: Pheobe Ward 'debuts' with the Super F.R.I.E.N.D.S Jarrett and Raven are now feuding, Killings and Douglas are feuding...D'Lo-Styles ends Sunday night which begs the question where does the champ go from here? To be honest, I don't even know yet. Time will tell I guess...

    The 4.0 NWA:TNA Diary

NWA:TNA- ANARCHY IN THE ASYLUM, WEEK 16 Announcers: Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson King of the Darkmatch Ekmo vs Pat McGroin vs El Midgeeto We kick things off with some 'enhancement talent' in the ring. A young cruiserweight...and Pat McGroin. The young crusierweight is El Midgeeto, getting a chance at a TNA contract, while Pat McGroin is on his last chance hoping to keep his contract. The match starts before Ekmo even gets out from the back let alone his slooow walk to the ring. Once he gets in, he takes out Midgeeto but gets hit with a top rope bulldog from McGroin...and then a second one. One clothesline stops McGroins momentum though, and gets the pin McGroin is gone from TNA. Meanwhile, the teenage Brit takes advantage from behind. Ekmo gets taken off guard, and gets hit with the 'Micro Kick' from out of nowhere. The kid gets a desperation cover, and wins the title! Winner and NEW KOTD: El Midgeeto by pinfall Crowd: 33% Match: 61% Overall: 47% Dames Rating: DUD Notes: The King of the Darkmatch title has lost image (Seems my plan to use Ekmo to get someone over won't work. Ah well...) Triangle Match Sonjay Dutt vs Chris Hero vs Jack Xavier XPW's Chris Hero and free agents Dutt and Xavier debut in TNA...without any build-up. Which would probably explain the crowd falling asleep through this one. Dutt puts in a good effort, and brings up the rating a few notches. Still, the crowd didnt bother getting behind anyone...probably not knowing who to get behind. Dutt gets knocked out of the ring, allowing Hero to hit the Hero's Welcome and get the three count. Winner: Chris Hero by pinfall Crowd: 28%(OMGWTF!?!1!) Match: 77% Overall: 53% Dames Rating: *1/4 Notes: Jack Xavier debuted his new gimmick, it got a positive response (This is what you get for not promoting new talent. Nothing. Dutt impressed and may go on to better things...the other two will need a little 'guidance' it seems.) Three Team Elimination Match Swinger and Diamond vs Super F.R.I.E.N.D.S vs America's Most Wanted Continuation from last week, these three were the losing teams in the fourway elimination #1 contenders match. The crowd had a reason to get into this one. Three experienced teams, and three talented teams. A series of quick tags slow down the momentum of the opening fall of the match, all six men getting in on the action before Chandler gets a pinfall victory over Swinger. Down to the Super F.R.I.E.N.D.S and AMW...silly gimmick or not, it's still York and Matthews in there with America's Most Wanted. The two teams work well against each other with good tag team wrestling. However, Chris Harris eventually gets isolated and drilled with a suplex/powerbomb combination, before Chandler locks on the Central Perk Stretch to get the tap out victory. Silly gimmick or not, they're still a good team. Winners: Super F.R.I.E.N.D.S by submission Crowd: 62% Match: 78% Overall: 70% Dames Rating: **1/4 (Silly gimmick or not, this was still a good match, and a good performance for the Super F.R.I.E.N.D.S. The TNA tag division continues to hot up, with the collection of great teams being increased all the time...) NWA X-Division Title Frankie Kazarian© vs Colt Cabana Considering the reaction I got for the opening match, this didn't turn out too bad. Kazarian may have been a big reason for that. Both men put in some nice wrestling, with a plancha thrown in from Kazarian for good measure to begin with. Cabana then begins to take over the match with some more high impact moves...and puts in a good effort up until Kazarian manages to hit a Tornado DDT and follows up with the Wave of the Future for the win and the title retainmentnessing. Winner and still X-Division champ: Frankie Kazarian Crowd: 51% Match: 72% Overall: 61% Dames Rating: *1/4 (Nice debut for Cabana, who should go quite a way with a little push. Speaking of which...) Suddenly, here come The Gathering, Julio Dinero and CM Punk. No Alexis though. Anyway, they enter the ring and Punk gets on the mic. Colt looks confused, but it seems they come in peace. So to speak. Punk begins to talk about his history with Colt, his teaming with him in RoH(before I gave Colt a written contract of course), and he offers Colt a spot in The Gathering. Dinero looks a little surprised, and he and Punk begin arguing in the middle of the ring, as Colt just watches on with a shrug of the shoulders to the crowd. Dinero then takes the microphone, and says he thought they came out to kick his ass. The arguement goes on, and Dinero asks Punk where his loyalties lie...his friend, or his 'family'. That was metaphorical obviously. Punk suddenly swings a right hand, knocking out Dinero! Punk then grabs the microphone and tells Julio that he and The Gathering can go to hell! Overall: 59% Notes: Colt Cabana gained overness from this segment. CM Punk's turn was completed, and he is now a face. CM Punk gained overness from this turn (Talk about a last minute booking decision. Punk was a tweener, and I was set to make sure he went heel like the rest of The Gathering. But instead, I ended the Raven/Punk debacle of a feud off camera(which Raven wasn't too happy about), and then decided to form the Second City Saints. Punk and Dinero are also now feuding.) NWA Tag Team Title Triple X© vs Skipper and Romeo Oh boy what a match. Skipper obviously works well against his former allies in Triple X, Daniels and Low Ki, whom incidentaly still hate each other. They still team together well though. Another good match, we seem to be turning into a cross between RoH and the WWE...great matches and off the wall gimmicks. This thankfully is the first of those two, with Daniels and Low Ki on the offense for large portions of the match. A couple of very neat offensive exchanges between Low Ki and Skipper being the highlight of the match. In the middle Skipper and Romeo's friendship shone through as they two used teamwork to subdue one opponent, Low Ki, until the double knockdown and tag. Despite Skipper and Romeo's best efforts, the champs were just too good, Skipper getting hit with the Last Rites to end a great match. Winners and still Tag Champs: Triple X by pinfall Crowd: 65% Match: 93% Overall: 79% Dames Rating: ***3/4 (That's the reason why Low Ki and Daniels are still together, despite disliking each other and despite the fact they'd be valuable to the singles ranks. With my tag division filling up with good teams, the reign of these guys is going to be in jeapordy...so it may be only a matter of time before we get a Low Ki/Daniels feud.) NWA US Title The Amazing Red© vs Kid Kash Yet another big title match, this has actually been a long running feud. I say long running...it's hardly been brought up, what with Red's Japanese tour and other reasons. Mainly money reasons. But now I'm sorted, I can finally start this up again. Kash in control from the start before a way too early ref bump denies him an early win from a second rope spin kick. The point of this ref bump...I'm not sure. Oh well, he soon recovers as does Red. A nice little match soon becomes a good match as the spots start flying by. Eventually it slows down...and a sneaky lowblow from Kash catches Red hard. The referee sems to see it...but maybe not, as he counts the three count, and we've got a new United States Champion! Brian Hebner(boo!) passes Kash the belt, as he quickly makes his exit with the gold. Winner and NEW US Champ: Kid Kash Crowd: 69% Match: 85% Overall: 77% Dames Rating: *** (See...the good thing is, if you don't go by the commentary, you can pretend Brian Hebner is a heel referee! Hopefully in 5.0 you can turn referees heel. And Coachman. World's greatest heel. This feud continues on, Kash now has the belt which should be more useful than Red if this goes on until March, because Red is in Japan all month of March.) We get a video playing up Bret 'The Hitman' Hart...his match is of course next. Hopefully this should help his overness for the next match...which by the way is Bret Hart vs A.J Styles. Overall: 88% NWA World Title A.J Styles© vs Bret Hart Well...to any of you thinking of bringing Bret Hart back into the ring for one match...don't. Unfortunately, the game recognises Bret can't wrestle anymore. Styles tries to carry the match, and Bret puts in a decent amount of effort. Poor Dames slates Bret throughout the match...if this was real life, Dames would probably be looking at a Calgary lynch mob right now. Anyways, the match is basically Styles beating down Bret, Bret getting a little fightback and getting comparisons to Dames' grandmother in the process, and then Styles fighting back and hitting the Styles Clash for the three count. Winner and still World Champ: A.J Styles Crowd: 79% Match: 47%(OMGWTF!?!1!) Overall: 69% Dames Rating: DUD (Damn...that has to be the first DUD of Bret's career. The Bret marks on the board give it ***** anyway...and then they burn an effagy of Goldberg before putting Bret's music on and putting on cheap plastic sunglasses to do that pose Bret does. Ah...those crazy kids. But seriously, that sucked. Bad idea, and something that won't be repeated. So much for putting Styles over.) After the match, Bret offers his hand, telling Styles he's the better man. The Champ responds with a right hand, and another Styles Clash, leaving Bret laid out on the mat to end the show, and his career. Overall Rating: 69% Attendance: 3425 Buy rate: 0.22 Best Match: Triple X vs Skipper and Romeo Hottest Match: Bret Hart vs A.J Styles Worst Match: Bret Hart vs A.J Styles Best Segment: Bret Hart video Worst Segment: CM Punk turns face So in conclusion, Bret Hart should not wrestle. Triple X should keep teaming. Newcomers should be promoted before debuts. And a stupid gimmick does not neccesarily hurt match ratings...when you're ripping off Friends. Next time...I may learn from this. Then again, I'm still employing Ekmo, so maybe not.
  22. King Cucaracha

    What was funnier?

Shh! You're not allowed to say that...this a thread so we can all hate on Goldberg and Kane's slips, but FORGET Angle's. Just like me and Bionic Redneck said in another thread. Angle is god, Angle is rule, Angle is perfect. It was planned that Angle would slip...and it was good damn it.
  23. King Cucaracha

    Road Warrior Alexis?

Barron- 'OMG...really? I WATCH wrestling! What a conincidence..you know, we have so much in common.' And with all the joking around here, I'm surprised we haven't had a 'UUGGH WHAT A RUSH' gag...
  24. King Cucaracha

    Summerslam 03 Match Qualities

The worst part was, they went back to the same spot half a minute later. That only highlights the original fuck up. I'm not hating on Angle, but your point is mine. Although Kane falling off the ropes was gold.

Sure...it's yours. I'm probably gonna do a more middle of the showish promo anyway, wouldn't fit at the start. And if that's true about Annie then I'll have her bring it up. Cheers.
