    Goldberg/WWE

No, because people hate Triple H and the long title run is an excuse at times. People moan when the title changes hands too quickly, they moan that one guy's holding the title for too long... Oh, and like Goldberg's peak in drawing power...the Bret Hart incident was YEARS AGO. Bret would have had to retire less than a year later at least with or without Goldberg. I'm a Bret Hart fan too, but I'm begging people to let that one go. It's getting cheap.

    Smackdown Spoilers

    1) So you haven't seen Gowen then. I'm not talking about how he's being booked to look. Angle's looking like a fool atm, Billy Gunn is being pushed...so on the logic of Gowan sucking because he's made to look like just a cripple, Billy Gunn is better than Angle is he? But basically, now he's finally got his contract HOPEFULLY he'll be the surprise wrestler. In other words the marks will think 'Oh he's just a cripp...HOW THE FUCK DID HE DO THAT?' during his matches. Oh, and it must be so heartening for someone to fight back from adversity, and work so hard to do the job he loves...just so he can be called a sideshow freak. How heartening...makes all the suffering he went through worth while. 2) Tajiri should have gone heel rather than Eddie, I agree with you. And what does being Japanese have to do with anything? 3) Glad you've cleared that up And I look nothing like that picture...I'm much chubbier...

If Hulk Hogan never joined the WWF

I doubt the WWE would have been as successful as it was without Hogan. I mean sure 'the great talent would have shone through', but probably about 75% to 80% of money earned in the late 80's, early 90's was due to Hogan. Directly or indirectly. For indirectly read the people who sent get well soon cards to Hogan after Quake squashed him, and ended up getting catalogues and shit from WWE. I don't think anyone could do the Hulk Hogan act better than Bollea, but who knows maybe someone could. But without Hogan, the vast mainstream attention never would have come. Wrestlemania would have been a good few years behind if it ever happened at all. With Piper as the main guy, it wouldn't have worked so well unless he went face. Back then, fans would want to see a good face rather than a good heel. Hogan brought the mainstream appeal and money in that many others wouldn't have got near. In ring improvement or not, without Hogan WWE wouldn't have got where they are today as quickly as they have.

    Cena's Rap From Tonight's Smackdown

He stops for crowd reactions which ruin the flow. But Billy Gunn getting his ass handed to him in rap form is gold.

    Gail Kim's debut blew...

    1) Those video packages must have been good then, if no-one knew who she was. 2) So the pop had nothing to do with her being new and hardly anyone knowing anything about her. No-one knew who she was, and until she's built up no-one will care. And the women's wrestling 'non fans' who are interested in T&A only are the main reason women's wrestling can't improve. People need to stop being so sexist about it. Oh, and female version of Rey Rey? I smell an overexaggeration.

    Smackdown Spoilers

He does it pretty damn excellently. He'll get over with or without Hogan. Ring rust probably. He's only just got here, I wouldn't cry fuck up just yet. I take it you haven't seen Gowan wrestle yet RRR. He's not 'just a cripple', he can wrestle better than half the Smackdown roster. Considering he does it on one leg, that's a pretty big accomplishment. Can't wait for Smackdown to air, and some guys who've never seen him get the chance to see him. Of course, I doubt he does much but bump. BIG: Agrees 100% Although Tajiri/Eddie is going to own kick ass. Well, at least this is a start. Should be good if they're on the show next week. Well, Angle/Lesnar/Show at Vengeance. Don't see why everyone's so down on this. It's obvious face versus face Angle vs Lesnar won't work the way it's booked. Agreed...I'm actually looking forward to it. My thoughts exactly Who didn't? Benoit appears on one Velocity and suddenly he's dead and buried. And you say AS overreacts. Shaniqua=Crap. Seriously, she looked MANLY when she debuted with the Bashams. Scarily manly. Looks aren't everything...scaring the shit out of someone isn't good though.

    Edge's Future

    1) Heel. Smackdown needs heels, and Edge can be a cool heel. Plus that way there's more opportunities for him. Heel Benoit and heel Edge as a team? I'm there. Plus it means Edge/Rhyno, Edge/Lesnar, Edge/Angle and Edge/Rey. 2) Meh. I'm not an expert on facial hair funnily enough. But if he's heel, a beard'll mkae him look more heelish. Yes, I have no real answer. 3) Depends who the champ is, and on question 1. But if he comes back, he's going to be top line either way, so no. 4) Angle and Lesnar, as heel team with Benoit under Paul Heyman. 5) Always. 6) Christian to SD, where heels are needed. 7) Does it matter, he'll probably have to soon anyway. Yeah, he should if he's a heel. 8) Downward Spiral's used by Steiner, and his looks more effective. Edgecution is better. 9) Rob Zombie pops the crowd. 10) Bah gawd no! If he's a heel(damn I really want heel Edge back!) he can't really wear pink.

    Triple H v.s. RVD

This is Hogan. He did it in the 80's and the crowd pop for it even now, so of course he'll do it. And he's 'acting on adrenaline'. Yeah that was a lame excuse, but it's Hogan. He's a cartoon character for christ sake's! I don't get the BITCHING for the DDT. First off it was on a steel ramp wasn't it? Getting dropped on your head on steel is going to be considered a virtual finisher. Secondly, go back to when RVD lost the singles match to Morley(?) to a DDT. Go back to RVD versus Jerry Lynn, and look at how RVD sells the DDT. He doesn't sell it like anyone else, he gets SPIKED right on his god damn head. A DDT on RVD looks more brutal than a DDT on someone like Angle, because of the way RVD takes it. A clothesline on Rikishi is more brutal than a clothesline on anyone else because of the flip he does. In kayfabe terms of course. But still, RVD can lose to a DDT because of the way he takes it. And the leg selling thing...didn't we already do this with Edge? So RVD doesn't sell the leg well. As Angle would say, Big Freakin' deal! Sure it would have been better if he sold the leg, but it's not essential. Going into kayfabe mode, RVD pulls off moves which require strong leg muscles. Having strong leg muscles allows him to recover from working over the leg quicker than others. That and adrenaline. See? It drags match quality down, but it doesn't need to be that important, and it can be explained away. Oh, and RVD sells, he just doesn't aftersell. He'll sell the initial move but not after. So he's not on Rey Rey's selling level...does it really matter enough to have FOUR PAGES of bitching on it?

Ha, that I found that wrestlecrap link and he has a go at RD(the guy who runs the site) plus the fact that 'only smarks go there'. This guy hates us huh? Here's the direct link anyway, for anyone who wants to see this guy's post and maybe verbally destroy him. Lol Zacalex has a go at RD

    WWE Vengeance

Main Event World Heavyweight Championship Brock Lesnar© vs Kurt Angle vs Big Show US Title Tourney Final Chris Benoit vs John Cena Tag Team Title Haas/Benjamin vs Eddie/Tajiri Cruiserweight Championship Rey Mysterio© vs Matt Hardy Cruiserweight Championship #1 Contender Ultimo Dragon vs Kidman vs Spanky vs Jamie Noble Vince vs Zach Gowan APA and Taker vs F.B.I Rhyno vs Orlando Jordan Leads to Angle/Lesnar match at Summerslam after Lesnar pins Big Show following an Angle Slam. Angle distracted by Haas/Benajmin, Lesnar takes advantage and wins. Jordan would beat Rhyno, causing Rhyno to go through a re-birth. Heyman returns before SS, Rhyno turns heel and joins his stable.

    Someone enlighten me....

Monumental embarrasement? Have you seen him on talk shows and stuff before? He's one of the few guys who comes over as intelligable on talk shows. For marketing purposes he's great, because he's an intelligent person. And I don't get the hate for his push other than he's a hoss. He had good matches with Lesnar and with Taker, he'll sell for others, he can take a loss. Monumental embarrassment= I hate hosses Yes, because the odd talk show appearance is worth paying about 1 mil a year. The WWE clearly had big hopes for the big show yet each time they push him that push fails. He'll never be a serious champion or a draw and for what they are paying him that _does_ make him a Monumental embarassment. I won't put all the blame on him because part of it has been the way he has been booked over the past few years, but he doesn't do himself any favours by having bad matches (though admittedly, he has been doing well as-of-late, but they've been using him sparringly). Well, I'm not arguing with 1 million a year being hellaciously over the odds. The way they booked him in between pushes considering his earnings are the monumental embarrassment...the way I see it, at least Show is trying in the ring despite his limitations, unlike others who don't try to do anything and just cash their checks. Albert is better than most hosses. He actually has a move set, and if they did something with him he'd be worth something. Until then though he's doing nothing for anyone. Albert belongs in a tag team. It gives him a chance to showcase his moves and limits his ring time. It may be too late for Albert, though. I say send him to OVW for a few months and bring him back repackaged with a new kid and form a tag team. I always liked the idea of Scotty and Albert as a team, if they used him right. Like when Grandmaster was with Steve Blackman. Making up for Blackman's lack of personality with comedy. Hell any heel midcarder with personality could help him out. Once again with the Show sucks cause he's a hoss. So he's limited. Who else is he supposed to go against who'd be percieved as a threat? Benoit...never won the title. Not considered top title contender by non smarks. Angle...'Oh no, Angle must be a face when he returns'. Mr America...yes, but the smarks would piss all over it. Brock has made Big Show watchable again. Well the WWE could, you know, put effort in establishing someone as a threat to Brock. Their two biggest attempts were Big Show and John Cena... and John Cenas push was totally ruined by Taker and bad booking (they had the right idea, but didn't execute it properly.) Big Show gets pushed because it takes little effort in pushing him - but it usually _never_ pays off in the long run because everyone knows the Big Show is not a champion. The on-off face/heel/tweener/heel/can't be assed booking has just killed him. Back in WCW he was someone. And yes, Lesnar does need to be in peril a lot more. But the only person I can see as a threat is heel Angle. And once again, everyone wanted him as a face when he came back, but they don't book him right as a face. Or Benoit's match with Rhyno in the US Title Tournament, where Rhyno had to wrestle technically when he's a power wrestler. He wasn't wrestling "technically". He was wrestling that "old school style" that the WWE wants their wrestlers to do. Which, evidently, means chinlocks, chinlocks, chinlocks. Well, when I say technically I mean 'more technically than usual'. Rhyno got over in ECW as a monster who could do the power and intensity stuff, but can sell and wrestle better than most hosses as well. Heel ECW style Rhyno could be a threat to Brock Lesnar when Heyman comes back.

    Current Dream Match

I don't know why, but D-Lo vs Sting grabs me as a really interesting match. Red/Lynn/Frankie vs Sabin/Styles/whichever XXX member isn't in Japan would be great of course.
  14. King Cucaracha

    In case you missed Velocity

Because No one wants to see Angle/Lesnar/Show. Correction- YOU don't want to see Angle in with Big Show, because Big Show is a hoss. Angle and Lesnar can carry Show to entertaining matches. Angle in storyline terms has done hardly anything to earn a HV Title shot straight off. And Lesnar-Angle should be saved for Summerslam. And anyway AS, you should be grateful. When the Vengeance buyrate sucks you can blame it all on Big Show.

    Someone enlighten me....

Nathan Jones is a waste of space and a PR nightmare waiting to happen. Can't argue with that. Big Slow lost his conditioning after Big Lazy gave him a ganso bomb in 1998 and is now an overpaid monumental embarrassment to the McMahons. Monumental embarrassment= I hate hosses Undertaker is beyond pathetic at this point and is only keeping his spot because of past loyalty and politics. He's over, he still has the capabilities of good matches (show/Taker at NWO), he sels merchandise. I would say he's redeemed himself from pathetic. 2001- sure. 2002- better. 2003- can't see as much of a problem. Pathetic= I hate hosses. Albert has no charisma and blew some chances in the past so he's now on the Treadmill of Mediocrity along with Test. Albert is better than most hosses. He actually has a move set, and if they did something with him he'd be worth something. Until then though he's doing nothing for anyone. Kane WAS a big man who didn't suck in the WWE although Trips has killed his career twice within six months now. Kane had a career before Triple H? Not regularly. He's been on and off since his debut. You can't put Kane's loss in ability down to Triple H is that's what you're trying to do. Kane is still passable. Brock is now the only big man who doesn't suck and his ability is being limited by booking him against the Big Show for months. Some of the ones that Vince has screwed up, such as Batista and Goldberg, have been booked properly elsewhere. The problem is that the booking decisions that worked well in OVW and WCW are expressly ignored because of ignorance, ego, or petty politics. Goldberg hasn't been booked that badly. And being put in with Ric Flair, Triple H and being on the verge of a monster push is being booked badly? Not for Batista it wouldn't have been. Instead of following the wisdom of the past by emphasizing a wrestler's strengths and hiding their weaknesses, the WWE bookers either try to plug someone into a spot they may not fit into or expressly showcase their weaknesses for whatever reason. RVD being booked to work a 20-minute NWA-style match against Triple H at Unforgiven 2002 comes to mind. Or Benoit's match with Rhyno in the US Title Tournament, where Rhyno had to wrestle technically when he's a power wrestler. In short, they need to only have 2-3 big men, such as Brock, Kane, and Sean O'Haire and outright release dead weight like Bill DeMott, Undertaker, Albert, Test, Big Show, Nathan Jones, etc. because they're not over for the most part or cause problems backstage. I know you said most part, but basically I doubt Test, Show, DeMott and A-Train cause problems backstage. Show is over because he's been pushed. Test is getting there with the cheap heat feud with Steiner. Albert could get over if pushed right, and De Mott could be a decent enough midcarder if he wasn't constantly the 'bully'. He wasn't a bully in WCW, and he got over. That clears the way for a roster of predominately mid-sized and below wrestlers, as there will be enough people to have talented wrestler on top (Benoit, Angle, Eddy) as well as slightly less talented wrestlers to make the hosses look good to challenge the talented wrestlers at a big PPV. In other words Rey Mysterio making Show look good to challenge Brock. NEARLY EVERYBODY HATED THAT! As soon as the hosses are made to look good and go against the talented guys, people will whine and complain again.

    The Ministry Of Gimmicks

Stiffward owns...partly because he may have got his gimmick from Family Guy and the 'they have Drive-by arguements in England' sketch from series 2. Which owns.
  18. Just imagine how different things could have been if Angle stayed instead of leaving. ECW might have got somewhere... So...Kurt Angle would make the biggest impact in TNA. See...it was on topic.
  19. ECW style RVD would do for TNA what it did for ECW. Sell merchandise, pop the crowd, provide a style of wrestling that people will watch. And hell it'd be better for RVD too. Wrestling wise though, Eddie Guerrero would rule in TNA. Eddie-Styles, Eddie-Low Ki, Eddie-Lynn. Although if The Rock turned up on TNA, then that would help just a little.

Good Shirt For WWE Fans To Wear To Shows

I think they're intended for the Hell Section in TNA to wear actually. All though I would like to turn up in one of them and see what the marks say. Probably 'What's TNA...that boobies and stuff?'

When did JR start to lose his mind?

Cyrus and Styles weren't that great. Sure they called the match. But you also had to put up with Styles High Pitched "OH MY GOD!" which is just as bad as "BY GAWD" Oh and of course we had every 5 minutes Styles going "You won't see this anywhere else folks! ECW RULZ! WWF/WCW DROOLZ!" Cyrus did too much of the half smark thing. It's stupid to go out of character and say something, only to drop back and and get what you're saying over as believable. Well ECW was aimed at the smarks. And Cyrus was supposed to be an in character/out of character guy with the whole 'Network' storyline. And DON'T mess with 'Oh My God!' No way can you compare that to Bah Gawd. And every 5 minutes? I know that's supposed to be an exaggeration but come on. They gave up on that when WWE started getting 'extreme', they just changed it around. I'd rather see Cyrus and Joey commentating than any other duo who can still commentate now.

    When Hell Freezes Over

No, even before that, hell their ENTRANCES were booed heavily. It was uncomfortable. The fans were pissed about having a WCW main event or something. Not to mention it's because both Booker and Bagwell were heels. When hell freezes over, Stephanie McMahon will be the World Heavyweight Champion. Or rather when Stephanie McMahon wins the World Heavyweight Championship, hell will freeze over...literally...from the ice cold reaction from the fans.

50 reasons why Test > Benoit

The people taking it seriously are 'Benoit's biggest fans' who can't BARE for anyone to even jokingly diss their god. Or AS, who hates Test. Not that that's a bad thing...lol. But to everyone who got their panties in a twist over their god of wrestling being soiled...such as Ric Constantino, The Mighty Damaramu, Canadian Chris...get over it. It's not supposed to be serious. As has already been said...

If you were WWE Home Video

Match commentaries from guys who can pull it off. WMXV had Rock/Austin. WMXVI had Jericho/Angle/Benoit. If they could get some intelligent guys to come out of character to commentate on the big matches, like Angle and Rey Rey, they'd add some interest.
