Some might say 54 year old man in street clothes. All the rest would remember the fact he's one of the best proffesional wrestlers in the modern history of the sport on an all round level. Seriously, is Hurricane expected to have beaten HHH or Flair? Flair maybe...but you're saying Hurricane was buried, because he didn't beat the World's Champion. EVEN THOUGH he got the majority of offense in if I remember correctly. So instantly he's being HHHeld down. Puh-lease. Whoever he is, the World Champion is supposed to be booked as World Champion. If we're all critisising HHH as usual, then Angle and Jericho were held down most, cause their title reigns were scuppered as a result, direct or indirect, or Triple H. And the love triangle sotryline was dropped way too abruptly. But it's in the past. No amount of endless bitching, or any amount of new guys trying to gain popularity by saying they hate HHH isn't gonna change it. So, thanks a lot to wHHHoever started this up...that was sarcasm right there. Tee hee...I put HHH in the middle of a word to critisise him. Funny or what? Oh, more sarcasm.

That sucks. Los Guerreros had gotten hell'a over in the past month. For those who actually saw Backlash, their match with Team Angle took both up another step. Chavo was over, Eddie was over, they face cheated perfectly, they advanced their gimmick...this sucks for Chavo. Hopefully if it's an arm injury, he might be able to walk around with a cast or sling on towards the end of the 6 months, as Eddie's manager or something. Oh, and no-one has come up with the possibility of Smackdown's hottest tag team replacing Eddie and Chavo...RIKISHI AND TAJIRI! Can you wait? I know I can.
-
For someone unentertaining, he's sure over huh? For a worthless guy, he sells one HELL of a lot of t-shirts. I'm not saying he's an in ring general. But surely I'm not the only one to notice the crowd reactions he gets.
-
Batista...hell, he's being wished injury by some idiots! No-one deserves that. Orton, Edge, A-Train...Big Show. He's 500 pounds guys, he's not supposed to be much faster than he is. Goldberg without a doubt. Apparantly he's a career killer...of Bret Hart...err...erm...fuck Goldberg. Yeah, how original guys. He's finally being booked properly now, but now because he's not on Judgement Day he's a failure? Yet Nash is on the PPV...he CAN'T be a failure. Jeez. Vince. Need I say more. And the Los Guerreros gimmick is pretty hated by some, for being 'racist' against Hispanics. I enjoy it, and the Back the Mack angle, but I'm not racist because of it.

WWE needs a heel section, simple as that.
-
Christian- From an ring standpoint yes. On the mic, he saves himself...and then some. I liked the comparison with Piper...I always thought Piper was totally overrated in the ring, but on the mic was one of the best. Booker- Yeah, I guess...I like him, but there ya go. Storm- Nah. The way he's used at the moment...it shows nothing like he could do. like he did in ECW and WCW when given the chance. Even WWE for the first few months... Angle- Lol, I can't see how he can't be overrated. He's near god of wrestling like from some on here. Kendrick- Wha'? Ok...that's like saying Jamie Noble is overrated. Team Angle kind of are too. Although the Guerreros/Team Angle match at Backlash is one of my favourite matches of the year so far...kind of overrated though. Sean O'Haire pops into mind too The one I can think of off the top of my head is RVD-Storm from Guilty As Charged 99. He was decent enough when he debuted in WCW. And he had some other decent matches before leaving ECW. Oh, Edge vs Storm at Summerslam 2001 would count as 'GOOD', if not spectacular. So...now everyone agrees Christian is overrated, I take it he's gonna be getting some stick from now on. Booker too? Angle...ok, I know the answer to that one.
-
Since then, Rey gets killed by Big show Team Angle Vs Guerrero's in a ladder match Jericho gets booked in a match with the king of the death Power bomb and poor Christian gets booked in a steel cage match with the Career Killer Ah...the irony. Oh, how many career has Goldberg actually killed? I can name one, Bret Hart. For a career killer, he has a pretty clean record huh. Let's see...Jericho gets beat by Nash, and we et another HHH-Nash brawl. Bad. Goldberg gets booked right again. They've actually made the booking of Goldberg work so far, apart from the Rock match. Showing his power in spurts, destroying midcarders, stuff that looks brutal and gets crowd reactions. A cage match is perfect for Goldberg...should be ok. Probably a Hi-Lite Reel, a White-Boy Challenge, more Austin/Bischoff segments. Maybe one half decent match. Meh, I might as well watch...
-
What's the difference? He doesn't need to wrestle to support his family. He can get a job somewhere else, a job he doesn't suck at. and no, I'm NOT still watching. Maybe he...oh I dunno, wants to wrestle. Maybe it was his dream. Maybe he enjoys it... Jerk. Heartless jerk. Hey buddy, you suck at having a heart...maybe we should just rip yours out...now that'd be fair in your logic, wouldn't it. I have nothing more to add without going over the top at you. *cough*perfectexampleofantiGoldberg/Kliqfavouritism*cough* So let me get this straight...Nunzio, Palumbo and Stamboli are Italian? In ECW, Nunzio's gimmick was he wasn't really Italian, if I remember correctly.
-
lmao...if you saw the Scott Steiner of the late 80's early 90's, he was one of the best wrestlers around. It's not that that's the problem, it's age and injuries. Is this their gimmick or something? Overly nice guys...that'd be such a cool gimmick. Matt could turn on John for 'stealing from the tin'.
-
Especially after the WM handshake...Angle might be getting a lot more face pops when he gets back. I guess they want to try a get some buyrates for Vengeance, after Wrestlemania and Backlash's dissapointments.
-
The problem with that theory is that the Mr. America thing is still taking up more time on Smackdown than anything else. 2-3 LONG segments per show. Building to absolutley nothing. Those are segments that could go to a Benoit feud, Team Angle-Guerreos, or hell, even fucking Big Show-Brock! It'd be slightly humorous if it WASN'T the main focus of Smackdown every week. As it is now, it's just really, really annoying. -Duo Well first, you'd think they might be buidlign towards Hogan vs O'Haire...but it seems not now. And the reason it's getting so much time...Hogan's the most over guy in the company near enough. I mean who gets better face pop crowd reacions than Hogan...Austin is close, but his have gone down a bit. Rock is more mixed reaction when he's around. Goldberg isn't as over as he was in WCW. HBK is not anywhere near anymore. Lesnar doesn't have the charisma...same for Benoit...to get pops like that. Eddie is getting a lot more pops and chants now, but still nowhere near Hogan. Booker isn't that over. And Angle plays heel. Hogan's the top guy for crowd reaction at the moment, and Vince knows it. Old or not old, Hogan gets the crowds going.
-
You mean on Raw, where he was booed mainly for shouting at Jericho and then for attacking him. That was what the boos were for at first. Oh, but that promo sucked too...Nash doesn't have it anymore, that I have to agree with. I doubt Sting would come in...he seems smarter and more moraly abound than that. Plus he probably realises the unrelenting bitching at Goldberg/Nash/Steiner from almost everyone. Good guy blonde Sting would be so awesome though... And I like Mr America. It's a bit of fun. Lesnar vs Big Show is the main event fued for Smackdown, not Mr America. It just gives Hogan a reason to be on screen. You can't begrudge him that considering. It's hilariously ridiculous, and Vince knows it. It's not supposed to be serious, yet it is beign taken as serious by some on here...oh well, another day, another reason thought up to bitch at Vince

Boy, was I waiting for something like that. Hate Russo + hate Goldberg + love Bret = that. And I don't think Russo has the power to fire people from NWA TNA...I doubt he had the power to fire anyone in WCW without Bischoff's approval. It sure wasn't just his own decision I can gaurantee that. Russo doesn't own TNA...Jerry Jarrett does. I don't mind Russo...I'm not saying he hasn't made some GOD AWFUL decisions in his tenure. And well, no-one's gonna change the drug policy in wrestling totally...which is a sad thing.

To be honest, it's hard to call Yoko a recognised champ at times. Sure he held the belt for over half a year...but it's not as if he was a prestigious champion. First there was the Wrestlemania IX stuff...best not to go into that, else you will suffer brain bleed. The way he won it at the King of the Ring wasn't much better. From there it was ok...but in all that was the Taker/Yoko Rumble casket match...and the stuff at the end. They pushed the guy to the moon at the start, but screwed him over eventually. Not to mention the Summerslam 1996 Free for All match. I still hope Dragon might be different...but then again, I am beginning to lose hope. But it won't last...I think that's for certain...

Because he wants to get Judgement Day, and the WWE haters want ANY excuse to whine at him. Because he doesn't agree with them...he 'isn't one of the sheep'. Oh my god how dare he! Case in point... Oh..my..fucking..god. You like Goldberg...WAH...I hate you now. What are you 7? So he likes a wrestler most hate...so what. I don't HATE Big Show. I don't like him, but I'm not gonna say 'Oh, I fucking hate Big Show cause he's a hoss'. Does that make me a mark? The major issue seems to me that if you like anything that WWE does, you're an "apologist" and deserve to have whole sections of haters talk down to you. Downhome has never said "OMG WWE RULES YOU IN EVERYWAY" ... he likes parts about the show enough to order a pay per view. Why does this bother anyone? I mean I'm not ordering the show, I like the signing of Ultimo Dragon, I don't like Scott Steiner... this makes me a lapdog? My point exactly. Leave the guy alone and go bitch into the mirror. That way you'll get a captive agreeing audience. And do we NEED a reason to order Judgement Day. Do we have to run this reason past you just incase you don't like it. Oh, and to everyone who's like 'I hate WWE, but if you don't that's cool'...guys like RRR from what I saw in his last post, I don't mean you guys. I mean the guys who flame people for liking WWE. Before ya start getting mad at me. I'm having a go at the guys who can't allow people to like anything about the WWE without us being wrong.

Ok...this makes NO SENSE at all. Tibet? Tree of woe? Poor Kanyon...he deserves better. But on the plus side, we know which WCW 1994 storyline we're getting next month...HOGAN VS THE DUNGEON OF DOOM! Piper will run it. O'Haire and Kanyon will be kinda like joint leaders. Then they'll bring up Morrus...oh, and of course we'll have to get Ed Leslie and John Tenta back. We can even have Luger back to help Hogan...and a fake Sting!
-
Option F: Nash and HHH START brawling, Jericho helps Triple H out...only for Nash and Triple H to both beat the hell out of him and throw him down a sewer. Hell, it's perfect. For one Vince has already done it kinda with Bagwell/Angle/Austin. And the sewer has been done with Paul Bearer. Plus it humilates Jericho, puts over HHH and Nash...PERFECT!
-
*drink everytime JR calls a HHH 'Arn Anderson Spinebuster or 'Harley Race high knee'* *Drink after every WHOO from the crowd.* *Chug after Cole tries to tell us how good the PPV theme song is this month...and you might as well chug again as soon as he says it's 'kicking'(gotta love that hip Colester)* *Drink after every run-in* *Drink 3 for every time Goldberg ends up in...that position...after a Spear* *Drink everytime Jericho uses that really annoying voice...the one he uses when he says Heart...break...Kid* *Chug for the duration of Goldust's fits*
-
No offense, but being a WWE hater you would say that. Either way, there's decent points either way IMO...on most things
-
Ok, the word NEVER is a word I never use...yes, that was deliberate. But never...as in he never lost to Lesnar at Judgement Day. He never lost to Cena. He never got thrown out in the Royal Rumble...he never lost any Royal Rumble he's ever been in. Never is a very overused word. Kendrick is one HELL of a talented jobber then. Cena is not 'farting around' with him...he may be putting him over, or he may be being put against him to get a win under his belt. Oh, and I notice you didn't say 'Matt Hardy' put him away. Because he's Matt Hardy, and he's not a hoss. AS, give us something else cause I won't see the brawl of boredom until Friday...
-
Jeff Hardy returns, this weeks, becomes number one contender and rambles on about Imagi...who then debuts at the anniversary show, and turns out to be...THE ULTIMATE F'N WARRIOR! The two from the most incomprehensible team in wrestling history. It's coming, don't say I didn't warn you. All I'll say seriously is It's been a year already!?! Damn time is going too damn quick.
-
I was so going to say that when I saw this thread. Christian will be in the battle royal. Sure WWE will build up Christian-Goldberg. But they're only gonna check the former IC Champs thing on Sunday morning you know. Realise Christian is a former IC Champ, so must be in the battle royal....oh no, no match for Goldberg...how about a Gauntlet Match! Goldberg beats all 3 of 3MW, and thus increases his win-loss to 4-0...5-0 if he beats Christian in the Cage Match....GENIOUS!
-
Dragon versus Mysterio? That would own so damn much it would cause my head to explode.......or not. But Judgement Day seems to be getting a bit better. In other words, no-one can order even if they like Ultimo Dragon...or whoever. And if they add a Benoit-Eddie-Dragon-Mysterio match, we MUST not order just because Nash is in the main event. Riiiiight. Steph- I still don't get it Hul... America- I am NOT Hogan...(under breath)shhh, I think that evil Japanese guy is watching us. And we all know Japanese people are evil. Remember Pearl Harbor. Steph- I don't think he was involved in Pearl Har... America- He's Japanese, and that's good enough for me...brotha! Dragon walks over and hands them both sushi, which Steph guzzles down in world record time as America watches on posing.

Funny, I never remembered a dress code in TNA. Then again, would you want to be the guy who checks for dress code, with Sandman about. "Err Mr Sandman, you can't wear those baggy pants out there...and your bowtie shouldn't be hanging out of your trousers like that..." Wait for it...BANG, cane shot to the head. Looks like the potential for one of their best shows. Vince take note...every match announced has a reason to happen. Vince take note, matches have been announced BEFORE THE SHOW! Sure the main event could suck due to the rules. But hell, the Rumble didn't suck too bad. Weapons will be a problem. Hopefully it'll work out. If so, this could be the TNA breakout night. Oh, and to brighten up your day...Jeff Hardy has won titles in WWE, so fits the main event criteria...

Who gives a shit about Canada besides Canadians?RAW sucks,Smackdown sucks , WWE sucks overall. ..........................err...thanks for that intelligent comment. Raw doesn't sound over bad, but then again it doesn't sound long. I'm sure it seems it. What's the moaning with the IC Title about now? Like I said in another thread, the IC Title needs to be around to reward guys like Jericho and HBK, while keeping them from the HHHTitle. Oh, and maybe a Hurricane push. What?
