Konnan Says WWE Lockerroom Now Is Worse Than WCW's
King Cucaracha replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
6) The Kliq/Clique/Klik/Click/Klick/Klickque...however ya spell it. HHH only jobs to HBK or 95% of the time. Plus, Big Kev's coming back soon to add to the Clique's power. These guys will be pushed over the rest because they have the backstage power. That'll bring down morale for the upper mid guys on Raw because they know it's tougher than ever to break into the main event scene. 7)Hogan on Smackdown COULD cause a few problems like the Kliq, although not on the same scale. Hell, he did put over Lesnar and Angle in his last run. 8)HHH's speeches. Now that'll lower morale...having the top man who has so much power moaning that the midcarders are lazy...in front of them when some of the midcarders have worked their asses off for this business e.g Al Snow, Tommy Dreamer, Steven Richards. HHH is the main reason for low morale no doubt. -
The big moves in the booking of Jericho vs Michaels, as I would do it...if I could. Move 1:Jericho beats Steiner for the number 1 contender spot on Raw. But, he beats him virtually clean. Jericho moves on to NWO to face the QUADS OF STE...Triple H. Move 2:Jericho boasts of how he beat Steiner clean, and will regain his HV Title. Only trouble is, the HHHorsemen disagree. They threaten to beat him up, but Jericho convinces them out of it...plus the fact Steiner runs in with a pipe trying to kill them all has a bit to do with it. Move 3:Bischoff wants NWO to be unforgettable...so he makes HBK the special ref. Why that's a good thing for Raw I don't know, but they need a feasable reason. Move 4:HBK vs Y2J for WM is officially assigned...as long as HBk doesn't get physically involved unfairly in the NWO main event it goes ahead. Move 5:HBK and Steiner vs HHH and Y2J. Ends with Y2J getting a pin on HBK and laying him out with the sledgehammer or rubberhammer as it should be known. HHH then nails Y2J with the hammer Move 6: NWO---Jericho wins the belt from HHH. Hell, if it were me booking HHH wouldn't hold anyone down. Jericho celebrates with the belt until HBK hits the SCM to end NWO with a BANG. Move 7:Jericho says HBK-Y2J should be cancelled cause of HBK's SCM. Bischoff disagrees as it was after the match. Jericho then gets attacked again by HBK after his title defence on Raw against RVD. Move 8:Jericho cries conspiracy...like his good old WCW days. He also says he needs security to back him up against HBK...enter Ralphus, and a guy who Ralphus knows. Say Norman Smiley. Of course, they'd be clueless meaning Jericho has to ask Christain to help out. Move 9:Jericho takes an inisder shot at HBK by saying he can't fight his HV Title match, because he's lost his Smile-y. Norman Smiley to be exact. HBK doesn't appreciate it and attacks Y2J during the match. Smiley and Ralphus would then bungle their way through the attacks on HBK as Christian and Jericho make up for it. Some credible title defences for Jericho on Raws with some comedy from Christian every now and then would help. Then, Jericho beats HBK at Mania. That'd be the best way to work things, plus it'd bring in Ralphus, god of wrestling!

Err, it's RON KILLINGS. Vince made him K-Kwik, but NWA-TNA actually values him and does something with him, because he's a talented wrestler. Hey, Vince could do with some of those. As for Russo, the problem with WCW I think was he was given full reign. The guy went mad with power...literally. But now, Jerry Jarrett is like Vince McMahon. The outlandish ideas such as Viagra on a Pole and David Arquette as HV Champ can be shot down and his better ideas can be used and developed on. The guy earlier was right, he's a writer not a booker. He needs someone to manage his ideas, and an lod school guy like Jerry Jarrett is the perfect person. If only Vince would let Jim Cornette do more for WWE like he has OVW...Heyman vs Cornette as a calm feud on Raw and Smackdown would make WWE much better.

So wait, Austin-Rock...AGAIN! The same main event for 3 Wrestlemanias...XV, X7 and now X9. What's the betting on X11-Austin vs Rock, the final showdown. Anyway, it's not so much that Austin is meeting Rock, and I see why WWE want to avoid putting it in the mid card. So, why not book it as a double main event? The HV Title is ALWAYS on the line at the WM main event, even when the build-up sucks like Jericho-HHH. Also, the Rumble match stated the winner would get a shot in the MAIN EVENT. I know WWE are suckers for continuity, but I'm sure they won't bungle this one...right? Oh, and Austin vs Rock...does that mean Smackdown vs Raw. How are they going to build that up? I hope Austin doesn't end up on Smackdown, and I doubt Rock will go to Raw. It'll be hard(er) to build this up if they do it...

Pity Rhyno seems to be on the verge of joining the HHHorsemen. It'd prefer to see him in a full on ECW like feud with Dreamer or someone. Hell, Dreamer has quite a bit of respect still obviously. And if Rhyno came back as the killer Goring Piledriving heel, Dreamer vs Rhyno ECW Rules at WM would go down real well. Hell, throw in RVD and Steven Richards/another old ECW heel, and you could have an awesome set of matches. Could even bring back the ECW HV Title as the replacement for the IC Title and as a Bischoff tactic to change Raw.

Buff Bagwell auctioning off 5 minute phone call
King Cucaracha replied to a topic in General Wrestling
That'd be one of the funniest Raw moments ever...if Buff was forced to stay on for 5 minutes. Plus, it's the least Vince should do after Buff's performance against the Bookerman. -
Russo Nikita Koloff BG James Heavy D. Ron Harris Low Ki Elix Skipper Christopher Daniels Mike Sanders David Flair Raven(?) Siaki Desire Hudson(Ashley that is) It's getting a bit over the top IMO. Russo may say it's not the nWo, but I think he's trying to make his own nWo. Remember nWo 2000? *shudders* I do. Russo's idea. At least SEX has a hell of a lot of talent. And I agree about the storylines...half the nWo was useless jobbers who weren't doing anything except wearing the nWo shirts.

I don't see why they wouldn't have Flair as the 4th Horseman. But, if they do need another guy, how about having Goldust turn heel and join as Dustin Runnels/Rhodes. Hell, it'd work if they had a big build up of Flair keep metioning the history of the Horsemen and his fued with Dusty Rhodes. It'd help the Horsemen's legacy and Goldust could then confront Flair about it, before turning heel. That'd give Booker a high profile feud and a defined position on the roster, instead of his usual tag team/singles/tag team/singles position.

Well, Shannon hasn't been in wrestling that long. It's like the Natural Bron Thrillers(apart from Stasiak) and quite a few guys who WCW brought in too early. They didn't get great training, and are still green. Shannon is learning off of Matt. And he's learning off of Matt, because Matt is his freind. Vince probably thought it'd help Shannon to learn some stuff from someone he's been in the business with before. Plus, it helps get Matt over as the nasty, slightly messed up in the head sometimes heel. Oh, and he's one HELL of a bumper. The belly to belly to the outside still makes me cringe every time I see it.

Well, heaven forbid they push a popular face and make him into a possible star of the future! As for this nonsense with Vince moaning at Edge for not pulling a ***** match out of Alber...SORRY A-Train. BULL! Angle couldn't have got a 5 star match out of A-Train. Benoit couldn't have, Eddie couldn't have. I don't reckon any wrestler could have, especially with a fued which was built up in exactly 2 weeks. Who's fault is that, Edge? No Vince, for wanting to push A-Train in the first place. Edge has a load of credentials. He's not a bad wrestler. Sure, he's no Eddie/Angle/Benoit, but if on Raw he'd be the most/second most talented all round wrestler and entertainer there. Oh, and AS, Edge calls people dorks cause it's sorta his gimmick. Watch some 2000 wrestling, look for E and C, and you'll realise why the word dork is in his gimmick vocabulary. Oh, and Edge kept going over Eddie because Eddie's gimmick at the time was the funny heel everyone(the marks mainly) liked to see get humiliated, but would eventually pull out the win at the PPV in style and gain some respect.

NOD would be easy to make...just put D-Lo with 3MW, add Rocky as their leader and maybe bring in Rikishi from SD. Hell, it'd give him something to do. No Maven, no Booker and no Jacquie. None of them are heel midcarders, 3MW and D-Lo are, and Rock wouldn't stay in the midcard anyway.

What is this, the bash the NWA:TNA thead? As for the comment made by RickyChosyu...NWA does have enough wrestling...Lynn, Styles, Low Ki, Killings, Daniels, Kash, Red, Jarrett(when he's on his game), Saiki, Sanders to name but a few. NWA:TNA has as much potential talent as Raw IMO. Hell, at least Russo doesn't insist on stripping to his underwear every week *cough*Triple H*cough*. When was the last NWA:TNA posedown challenge? Hell, Jerry Lynn had a better year in NWA:TNA than RVD in comparison, and RVD's had quite a few World Title Shots. Personally, I agree with Bps...NWA does have the variety factor. Personally, I can handle the amount of Russo on the show cause you know Sanders will soon be on. Koloff vs Rhodes...I can handle that. Cause you know there's an X Division melee coming soon. For every Harris brothers match, there's a 5 times better Jerry Lynn match. Just thought I'd give a little plus opinion of NWA:TNA to counter all the naysayers amongst us.

Worst Rumble ever? You're kidding me. This Rumble match had more talent than any other in history. I liked the show, apart from of course Torrie-Dawn. Steiner and Triple H surprised me...I thought they'd actually prove us all wrong. Boy, was I wrong. The crowd shitted all over it too, which didn't help. The Tag Match and Lesnar-Show were passable. Angle-Benoit was awesome. I don't usually like the long drawn old school wrestling section, but this one was different. I wouldn't give it 5 stars(if I gave stars), cause 5 stars should be for true classics, but it was damn close in my opinion. As for the Rumble Match, some parts were good but some parts were wasted. HBK getting dumped out early was a shock to me, but the way they did it was good. They kept to everyone's characters well in the Rumble e.g Nowinski, Team Mattitude, Dreamer. It was a little too predictable at times. It was obvious when Edge/Rikishi/Christian/Jeff Hardy some others would come out. The Undertaker return was the most anticlimactic return in wrestlign history...it was like he'd never been away. There were some very good spots in the Rumble though. Everything Rey Mysterio did was top quality. How he kept staying in shocked me, especially when Edge came so damn close to his feet touching when Rey and Edge went over. Jericho, Edge and Rey took some damn close risks. Team Mattitude was used just right, Nowinski using his brain worked well for his character. The Maven thing made me laugh out loud too. The ending should have been better, because it was obvious Lesnar would win. But, it sure as hell wasn't the worst Rumble ever. The Sean O'Haire and Nathan Jones promos are gonna get them over...but my main problem was the announcers. JR, since when could you mistake D-Von for Bubba Ray? THREE TIMES! And, are Rikishi and Rosie brothers? I'm sure JR said they were. Oh well, Austin/Goldberg/Rock should be back soon...yeah, at least we have Benoit and Angle.

If it's still open, I'd like to join... The Royal Rumble Card: Raw World title: Triple-H © vs. Scott Steiner $50 on Steiner Smackdown World title: Kurt Angle © vs. Chris Benoit $100 on Kurt Angle Rumble Showdown: Brock Lesnar vs. The Big Show $50 on Lesnar Raw Tag Team title: Lance Storm & William Regal © vs. The Dudley Boyz $100 on Storm and Regal Stepmother vs. Stepdaughter: Dawn Marie vs. Torrie Wilson $50 on Dawn Marie Royal Rumble: $50 on Jericho to win and $50 on Jericho, Shawn, Brock and Edge

OK then AS, what's wrong with...Low Ki being part of Team Angle?

The One and Only Raw Thread for 1/6/03
King Cucaracha replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
The other day on a big house show, Kane threw RVD across the ring and walked out...HEEL TURN alert! Oh, and there was the small matter of The Rock returning on that house show...maybe we'll see him return on Raw...NAH! People would enjoy that. As for what'll probably happen, they'll have RVD/Kane as a team early on to get the crowd pumped up. Bischoff and Morley will totally forget that last week they hated JR and King. Batista squash match. HHH-Steiner confrontation, and probably HHH will attack him somehow. Maybe we'll get a Steiner-Flair match...err, maybe not. Hurricane will continue his mini-push that isn't really a push. Another womens match, and this time it should be a properly booked one, not a 'Santa's Little Helper' style one. Hopefully we'll get a shock tonight, or at least soemthing memorable that we didn't expect. -
Yeah, and who else could they get who'd be believable, and still get the good reaction from the crowd?
-
They could use Eminem...Cena decides to take it upon himself to rap the intro, so Eminem comes out, a 'fight' starts until Cena throws Eminem off the stage. That way, WWE can get back into the mainstream, and they can have a Cena-B2 vs Eminem-Kish match at a PPV. Sure, the match would suck, but it'd get some mainstream attention. And they need that again. Kinda like Tyson-Austin, only a little more pointless. Plus, seeing Eminem go get beat up would be cool

Lesnar is over now...because of Heyman's role being played so well. I like Lesnar as a wrestler, but he's still only a rookie. He's not been a year in the business, so he's not going to be as good as most guys. He was pushed a little too early. I also like Rhyno. In the right gimmick, he can work good matches. In WWE he didn't work as well...ECW though, he was much better. ECW he could let loose a little more, and he had more than one finisher. Trouble is, WWE are never gonna let him hit a Piledriver, let alone one through a table. The reason Rhyno's going to better than Lesnar is...Rhyno can talk better. Vince will push talented talkers over talented guys like Lesnar, who's interviews aren't that good. Hell, if Benoit could cut a good promo, he would have been champion about 2000. And Rhyno's apparantely been getting 'acting lessons' according to JR whilst he's been injured...so, he should be that bit more good on the mic. Lesnar vs Rhyno would be brutal if they booked it as brutal. But Rhyno isn't a Team Angle type guy. Rhyno would be better of on Raw, cause they need a decent main eventer, and he could fill that spot eventually. Like Angle said on Smackdown, Team Angle is all about that middle 'W'- Wrestling. Rhyno isn't a 'wrestler'. He doesn't use submissions, he uses high impact moves. If it was billed as him being part of 'Team Heyman', then sure...but not 'Team Angle'. Getting back on subject...which someone needs to do...Angle needs a shoot style wrestler, a submission wrestler. Someone like that. If they hadn't already debuted Guido as Nunzio, he might be able to fit in. Hell, he could work better as a shoot style wrestler learning from Angle than being squashed by DeMott. Plus, Heyman likes Guido. But, they can't use him now. If they wanted to...they could bring in Low Ki. He'd get over with the fans cause of his exciting matches, and he'd fit in with Team Angle's wrestling. But, he'd be squashed by Lesnar. You can't really have a 180lb guy fight a 290lb guy and look convincing...not if you're WWE. So, how about they cash in on the UFC's recent success/little more success than usual, and bring back Ken Shamrock. Hell, the fans know who he is...he knows his way around the ring...he can WRESTLE...He'd look right in a red white and blue singlet...he seems like my choice.

LMAO! Man this is great stuff. Forget the 3-D, we've got the Type Name Here!...lol.
-
I doubt they have a drawing, especially nowadays, because last year the Rumble had stories running through it. If they had a drawing, they probably wouldn't have had Kane in so early to be the ironman, they wouldn't have got Honky Tonk or Drew Carey against Kane, Maven might not have been any where near Undertaker's number. When they have storylines through it, they can't really do a draw. As for who eliminates who, it probably used to be inpromptu. Whne the ring was crowded, they'd probably know when to get eliminated, and told the nearest guy when they had to get dumped out. Now, it's almost certainly pre-determined.
-
I've not seen many that many Smackdowns, and I can remember even less, but from what I saw... Cactus Jack's return Bulldog vs Triple H, with The Rock as special ref. Rock counting with microphone in hand: "One.....two.....IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THE ROCK COUNTS TO THREE! Team Angle! TLC 3, and Jeff's leapfrog Legdrop from a ladder, over another through Bubba and the announce table. Austin's return before Backlash where the McMahons looked for Austin all night, and in the end Austin destroyed the D-X Bus. Edge and Rey winning the Tag Titles John Cena and Los Guerreros confrontation backstage last week, where Cena went mad in his rapper talk and The Guerreros spoke in the Massachusets accent. The Cat insulting Al Wilson while he was dressed as a turkey.
-
Didn't they give a tryout to Scott Andrews? He'd fit in well and be a welcome addition on Raw, maybe as a Flair protogé.
-
OK, I'm gonna try and be a little less critical about all of this, but I know it'll be hard with a Ross Report... Well, as long as his retirement lasts about a couple of years longer than Flair, Nash, Foley etc I'll be happy. I gotta agree. The crowd was HOT, kinda like a Raw crowd should be. I mean, the reactions for RVD and Kane through to Storm and Regal were awesome. Exactly what WWE needs, some better crowds So he missed the freindly crossfire then. And best physical shape of his career? Big Show's probably in better shape considering the freebie trips they've been handing him. Ah some good news. Rey Rey coming back will be great, as will Tajiri and Jazz. I'm looking forward to seeing what these 'acting lessons' or whatever they are Rhyno's been taking have done to Rhyno. Hopefully he'll be able to move up into the main event scene, cause he's deserving of it if he's better on the mic than before. Well I'm not exactly an A-Train fan, or really a DeMott one for that matter so I won't mention them. But damn right about Cena, B-2 and Hardy. It's comedy guys like them in the midcard that keep us entertained through the show. Oh, them and Al Wilson of course! Well, I can see a Kane heel turn on the horizon before WM, but hopefully I'm wrong. These two could be good together, but they shouldn't have to depend on each other as regualr partners. A BookDust style partnership where RVD gets a push in the middle of the partnership would be better for all concerned. I'm looking forward to 2003 too. You got the OVW guys coming through, Angle at the top of the mountain with Heyman as his manager, the returns of Rock and Austin will provide a needed breif boost. Hopefully they don't blow it...
