Yeah, Flair was a big fan of putting down the younger guys like Sting, Luger and Windham to the US Title area so he could trade title runs with guys that could never hold the title for extended periods like Ronnie Garvin, Steamboat (great wrestler, didn't have the personality to carry the ball), and Terry Funk. So while the matches were pretty good to the greatest ever, you knew that Flair was going to come out in the end with the title. One thing I wonder about Ronnie Garvin...in NWA/WCW...did he have the Garvin Stomp that I saw him use on Frenchy Martin in WWF at WrestleMania 5?
