  1. Royal Rumble 92. It's the longest promo I have memorized (or at least 90% memorized). "This ... is without a doubt ... the greatest day of my life. When you walk around this world and say you're number #1, the only way to stay number #1 is to BE number #1 and THIS ... is the ONLY ... title in the wrestling world that makes you number #1 ... when you are king of the WWF you rule the world ... Tell 'em Mr. Perfect!" "We're not the kinda guys to say we told you so ... but we (along with Heenan) TOLD YOU SO!" "For all the Hulk Hogans, and Sids, and Pipers - now it's Ric Flair ... AND YOU ALL PAY HOMAGE TO THE MAN! WHOOOOOO!"

  3. As some of you may know, I run a pretty indepth site which features the largest collection of WWE card results in the 40-year history of the promotion along with many photographs taken by fans at a variety of WWE events, detailed CHV results, etc. Now, as a full-time college student with no job, I've run into a little snag. I'm not able to pay off the monthly Angelfire fees for file space and bandwidth AND eat. jhawk was kind enough to make a rather sizable donation, which I am very much appreciative for, and he mentioned that it might help if I posted something on TSM in regard to this situation. There are very few books in publication which offer as much information as I have posted. There is a book detailing MSG card results until 2000, a title histories book, and a few more lesser known titles in existance - but some of those can reach upwards of $50 and are - at this point - very much outdated. My site is free for anyone to access - but I'd appreciate some help in keeping it that way. Thanks, Graham Cawthon
  4. They did have one double DQ SNME match following WrestleMania V - then the Best 2 out of 3 falls SNME match which was taped before Survivor Series and was Blanchard's last match in the WWF.

    Trivia

I believe you can add Piper / Flair to that as well.
  6. No, I think the apocolypse will be coming once Bruno starts doing commentary on Raw.
  7. Yes, it would be interesting to see Vince after he's cursed with a soul. Brock Lesnar is the key but Kurt Angle sacrifices himself instead.
  8. But that wasn't at Survivor Series.

    Trivia

HBK, Hogan, Savage, AA, Flair, Vader, Hart, Beefcake... along with Giant Gonzalez and Kevin Sullivan 5. Van Hammer won in 92; Big Van Vader won in 93
  10. I read a report written by a fan that was on Raw in late May 99. This was the particular episode where Austin saw the face of the Higher Power but the cloak kept the fans from seeing who it was. Due to Austin's expression and Jim Ross' "Oh my god, you son of a bitch!" commentary - he thought it was Owen Hart and that Owen's fall was part of a storyline LMAO

  13. Didn't I post this "spoiler" last week?
  14. March 14????? Damn, I hope they keep it on that date - I can spend spring break in NYC!
  15. You mean Warrior / Anvil / Rockers vs. Andre / Heenan / Haku / Anderson?
  16. Foreshadowing is the greatest thing next to Alyson Hannigan.

    Trivia

    2. Savage and Crush 3. The only guys I remember them having matches with were Anderson / Roma and Scorpio / Bagwell. I'll guess the Godwinns (then known as Tex Slazenger and Shanghai Pierce) 4. Bobby Eaton; Best 2 out of 3 falls match 5. Kane ... and two other guys
  19. 'Crime and Punishment in Suburbia' in the $6 Wal-Mart DVD bin. $10 for The Doors 2-disc set. Maybe Oliver Stone thinks there was a government conspiracy behind Jim Morrison's death too?
  20. I think Doink was the only guy he beat that was a name - and even then, I think that was Doink's last match. Could have sworn he was going to beat Savio at IYH III.

    2. They're all related to Dusty? 6. the flu
  22. Yeah, I remember them showing up in WCW around 95 or so. Had a few matches with Harlem Heat.
  23. What was his catchphrase again? Something like: "Life's a bowl of cherries ... in Waylon Mercy's hands." ??? *does evil smile*
  24. Damien Demento was great; very disturbing for the times. He had this weird costume that went across his shoulders - made him look like a vulture. Saw him beat Tito at a house show about 10 years ago.
  25. Bobby: "Have you ever seen a Texas tornado? All they really do is kick up some dirt and knock over a few mobile homes down at the trailer park." There are 2 rematches of theirs on CHV. One is on Supertape 3 and is from Toronto - the other is from Supertape 4 and is the bout where Perfect regained the title. The 92 Rumble post-match celebration is PURE GOLD!
