Charles: So, Assistant to the Regional Manager. Jim: Assistant Regional Manager. All kinds of great stuff with Charles (that was his name, right?). Jim trying to explain why wearing a tuxedo was in response to a memo about being unprofessional was also really funny.

Well Michael is in next week's episode description. The title for that episode ("Two Weeks") makes a lot more sense now as it likely indicates Michael's two week notice.

I finally started burning through the Raw episodes. I knew this from when I found an old Superstars tape a few years back and observed Rick and Scott killing some jobber with a stiff German and Dragon suplex, but Steiners vs. Jobbers = fun times. Some poor schlub gets the Screwdriver on episode 19!

I played a board game based on BSG, and though I know nothing about the show, it was really fun. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

A 1991 chapter named "Falsely Accused" - now that's funny.

No, Rey just challenged him. It probably will happen, but it's not official yet. -
That's... odd. How did this happen? At any rate, from F4W:

What a wacky situation. Much like the "fun teen flick" Get Over It.

This is a weird question, but were the locker rooms used for interviews in the early 90s just fake sets? In 90/91 they all seemed to be blue and exactly the same with all of these small lockers with doors, then in 1992, every PPV locker room became beige.

WWE General Discussion - March 2009

I did some clean up - Savage stuff has it's own General thread, the two comments about the LOW video game got moved to that thread, and a bunch of stuff about Mania got moved to the Mania thread (which is a bit redundant since Raw made it clear those JBL/Kozlov plans were out the window, but at the time, it was Mania related stuff). -

This fake DrVenkman PhD, known as "Dr. Venkman PhD", apparently is a former Chicago resident that has moved to Portland, Oregon. -
I remember back in the day when Enigma would say "Failure" to people who made an incorrect statement on IRC, even me the rare time it happened! Good times, good times.

Apparently there is another DrVenkman Phd out there. I expect lots of DrVenkman's, but another person adding the PhD tag? Now people will think this character is me, and I have to deal with the fact someone with my real name wrote a bunch of adult stories on Google Groups (well, I guess they would have been Deja Groups at the time). I suppose it's possible that, at some point, I made a comment to someone named Nathan Rabin at AV Club suggesting he review Dirty Work, but I have no memory of this. -
Where is the "Report Problems" thread? A victim of the Saturday the 14th Massacre? Anyway, since my first report of the issue was dismissed as me being a re-re, here's what I was talking about: These are the times listed on TSM at 5pm. The HTQ post in the WrestleMania thread was brand new but it said 3:57 pm. Thinking this was the "randomly behind an hour" problem I previously described, I refreshed the page: And like magic, everything jumps 1 hour ahead. I could keep that chain going back and forth just be refreshing the page. So what's the deal? Also I have no idea why those photos turned out so small but I'm sure they can be zoomed in on if you can't read the times.

Maybe it's just me, but when I read about this a few days ago, I was pronouncing Syfy as "Siffie".

From a logic standpoint, it makes sense that the three guys Jericho beat up would be his opponents, but you'd have to think this was not the big, awesome, master plan Vince was telling people he had. -

The official word was 'appearing', as in an audience member, but on Raw Jericho invited him to be in the corner of the Legends Trio. -

WWE has also been saying that too for quite awhile. -

That reminds me of the rumour in 1996 that Taker would come back dressed in white. -
Hogan vs. Henning was a match I actually enjoyed. It's from a Thunder in 1999 which raises the question, "Why the hell was Hogan wrestling on WCW Thunder?" I though his contract opted him out of such things.

Fair enough bud.

Well most of your other similar comments are directed toward your peers, so that conclusion jumped to me ("I stand still - the conclusions jump to me").

That's some top-notch reporting, considering she was in the graphic shown on Raw. For clarification, the mention of Kim being added specifically says: It's not like they were presenting it as breaking news, just pointing out, correctly, that Kim being added to the battle royal was done without fanfare. My apologies to his majesty that I didn't properly analyze the picture shown on screen for 3 seconds or partake in the conversation we had here with the blurry picture that caused people to identify Mickie James as Lillian Garcia.
