The "Vent about not having Program X on 24/7" Thread
DrVenkman PhD replied to EVIL~! alkeiper's topic in WWE Multimedia
Cogeco was doing SO GOOD here... and today, they failed. I really wanted to watch Judgment Day too (at the very least, Shawn vs. Jericho). Edit: Everything is there now though. -
Man, dude can't catch a break. Except for his body parts.
-
That makes more sense. I was wondering why you thought I was going to "get on you" for pointing out spoilers.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.
DrVenkman PhD replied to Giuseppe Zangara's topic in No Holds Barred
I watched that episode of the Mario Supershow at a friend's house recently. Good times. -
I think it had a low quality video camera. And advertised Stridex.
-
I think I missed the vote on this.

Domino's Pizza sponsored SummerSlam 94 but their logo wasn't plastered all over the place. I think Vince made exactly one commentary reference to it. Good enough though since we had a Dominator pizza at the SummerSlam party. SummerSlam 95 has a big Stridex logo in the show's logo. I remembered the 1996 Karate Fighters tournament (and recently relived it on 24/7) but had no memory of a 1997 edition until I searched for a youtube video of "Lazer Tag: The Mission to Save Marc Mero" after seeing it on 24/7. What a silly piece of business that was.

Dave Meltzer has long believed / suggested that the Raw audience won George Bush the 2000 election due to that.
-
People are trying to figure out what Sanders has to gain in this - the 6 year statute for any potential backpayments will long since have expired by the time this gets into court. Raven will also be at 6 years in 2009 as well. It's a noble cause, I suppose.

John Cena having major neck problems
DrVenkman PhD replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
mellow was entitled to his opinion about DarKnight's opinion being BS and didn't read "Bitch, please..." in the context it was used as anything vengeful. If he had said "Oh come on you stupid son of a bitch" or something, maybe. Anyway, the point here is please don't make a federal case out of it (Noah), just go with it and continue on-track discussion. Thanks. -
Hey, I voted for you in the BPT.
-
Yay. I've already gone nuts in the 24/7 section.
-
There was some overlapping discussion in the Raw and Nitro threads and since quite often the discussion about these MNW episodes is which show we thought was better, that can be hard to do without discussing the other show. So, here we are, a combined MNW thread.
-
This caught my eye on WWE.com's schedule. Everything is "WWE Presents..." except for one show in November. "Buddy's Home Furnishings Presents Monday Night Raw".
-
There's no US tapings listed for next Monday or Tuesday but I don't recall where they're going to be. There's a "Supershow" taping on Sunday though so yeah, they must be heading somewhere.
-
I look forward to telling more people to not post spoilers in general threads and figuring out all these new commands. Good times!

John Cena having major neck problems
DrVenkman PhD replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
That thought crossed my mind but I don't believe that was the case. They probably wouldn't have advertised Cena for the Scramble or put him on Raw if they knew. -
Yes sir. Edit: Somehow I missed the "WHY" part of your question (I don't know why I though you'd ask if this was taped yesterday). I'm not sure if there was a special reason for this or if they finally begun the ECW/Raw taping schedule. At one point it was held off indefinitely outside of accommodating for foreign tours (such as the Middle East trip).

It was a good blow-off to the Monsoon / Heenan feud.

John Cena having major neck problems

I was going to jokingly suggest he would only be out two months too. Looks like another Rumble win! -
I agree with you 100% and am cleaning it up now.
-
Here's the deal guys, since this is now the second week this has happened: Don't talk about matches that are TV show spoilers in the CTDWAT thread.
-
Yeah, there's info at http://www.ctemploymentlawblog.com/ I believe. The write-up about this in today's F4W newsletter is pretty good.

I believe WrestleMania 25 takes place in 2009, dx1997. -

Yes goldengreek, WWE is going to work a serious neck injury so they can their #1 merchandise draw for kids - who they are seriously targeting again - can turn heel. Brilliant.
