I can't listen to Ron Conway's "Just Look At Me" theme without singing "Left Foot Right Foot! Left Foot Right Foot!". The full version of 3MW's theme is really catchy. I love the part where it goes "spooky".

WWE SmackDown - February 27, 2009
DrVenkman PhD replied to Thanks for the Fish's topic in The WWE Folder
Baton down the hatches and have your friend Kate barricade the door, VLADIMIR KOZLOV is in the building and he's really mad. Vladimir Kozlov is really angry! He's been wanting competition from the Double Double E Superstars he loves so much, and this week he has it in the form of [Vince McMahon]The UNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDERRRRRRRTAKER.[/Vince McMahon]. Who will win this Clash of the Titans? Will the Earth survive this battle, or will we all need to be transported to a new planet until the heroes of the Earth ask a dragon to give us our old Earth back? In other action, the challenge has been made! As we now live in a world where the preachers are the sinners and the police just take the grease, the once benevolent Matt Hardy has challenged the man how refers to as his "former brother" (I suppose he's theoretically called him this when saying he has no brother) Jeff Hardy to a 1 on 1 wrestling match - the way real men settle life long jealousy issues. Who wins when Hardy takes on Hardy? In a tag match for the ages, World Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison take on WWE Tag Team Champions The Colons with the tag titles belonging to Carlito and Primo on the line. Will Jomo and Miz force The Colons to be jealous, or will Primo Coolness prevail? The answers to all this and more can be found out by just reading spoilers (which will be all the way above this post when things get merged) OR tuning into YourNetworkTV or The Score tonight! -
I will also admit I left out the part where I wondered what WWE would do without him too but from the start I thought he would be a bad fit for WCW. For anyone interested - and a warning, I never intended this to be published and I think I come off as a ranting looney - http://www.f4wonline.com/content/view/8488/

I talked to a lot of people like that on IRC too. It was all "ha ha, Russo is the only reason your precious WWF has done so well! WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW?".

it must be lent all year round? Ba-zing!

I think Enigma's comment was posted first.

Impact spoilers for Feb. 26 and March 5, 2009
DrVenkman PhD replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
I will say this about Impact: I did catch about 30 seconds of it during a commercial break of the Office rerun I was watching, and it was a close-up ass shot of Velvet Sky as she was bending over to get in the ring. I wished we had Spike HD here at that moment and I suspect that was the highlight of Impact. -

They just can't make up their mind, can they? -
They did the ECW show / LOD return show from there in 1997, but that was a one shot.

Larry King did a good job too. "I will [hang up], but not because you told me to!" "For those of you just joining us, rock legend Peter Frampton is being given enigmatic clues on the whereabouts of hidden money at 30 Rock by Tracey Jordan!" (paraphrased). I like how when we joined Tracey's Larry King appearance as he was finishing describing the plot of Teen Wolf. I'm always down for a good VHS joke. I'm not in the Anti-Jenna league, but yet again we have a great 30 Rock episode that has nothing to do with her character.

I'll avoid being helpful in the WWE Folder.

I'm speaking to you from 1987, but the message is timeless: Avoid the Noid.

On SmackDown, an emotional, rage-filled WWE Champion Triple H explained that Randy Orton crossed the line when he delivered an RKO to The Game's wife, Stephanie McMahon. Now, the Cerebral Assassin returns to Raw. JBL and Shawn Michaels also compete in a #1 Contenders Match to determine who will challenge The Undertaker for his WrestleMania Streak Championship at WrestleMania 25.

We clap funny when trying to exhibit rhythm.

Cryme Tyme's theme, I believe.

They just had another recall for hot dogs! Edit: There used to be a post above mine talking about Maple Leaf. Apparently the mod who split the topic decided this was not relevant to the conversation.
-
Apparently my middle of the night ramblings / musings about how annoyed this show made me and why it reminded me of TNA got published. That wasn't really my intention, but I'll take it.

Yeah, Richter was an Observer subscriber. -
I have no faith I'll even have DLC by the time this game comes out, so no problem there.

I think I have a bad rap as a racist just because I have preconceived and unchanging mindsets about certain stereotypes for people who aren't white, but the truth is, I have those about white people too.

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread
DrVenkman PhD replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
They did a 1999 Raw there - I think it featured what was supposed to be the finals of the Terri Invitational Tournament, but it ended in a draw so they did the No Mercy thing. They made a huge deal out of invading enemy turf it in Raw Magazine. -
I didn't notice these things when I originally watched the show but heard / read about certain moments pointed out that I missed. By chance, it was a rare time I hadn't deleted the show off the DVR and did catch my new favourite highlights of the show: - Lawler mocking Cole by yelling "VINTAGE!" after Cole stated "the momentum has shifted". - Meltzer marking out in amazement in the front row after Steamboat does a 2nd turnbukcle leap frog over a charging Ric Flair.

Sidekick named for "Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien"
DrVenkman PhD replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
Yeah... right... September 93. I think I meant Mania X, which makes sense since I know it was at a PPV Vince was doing play by play for.
