I was going to say that too, but then I remembered that a SummerSlam 92 dark match. However... The internet confirms that it was also the Mania IX dark match.

I'm also glad it's back to being a post-Mania draft. In theory, it should end (or at least help freshen up) the WWE's current stagnant routine of not changing post-Mania feuds until after Backlash or beyond. As for announcing, it definitely needs to be changed up again. Will it? Probably not, but to be honest it was only a few weeks ago that Cole opening up Raw didn't sound weird to me. For MONTHS I kept expecting to hear JR welcoming me to Monday Night Raw. Cole and Coach were terrible and he didn't have much time with Foley, but Cole and Tazz are an established team that I thought did fine (and at some points after the initial brand extension, better than JR/King) so that straight swap would be fine. For a big shake-up, you could make Raw JR and Striker, ECW be Lawler and Grisham, and SmackDown Tazz and Cole. If JR stays on SmackDown, I wouldn't mind Striker and Tazz being swapped.

5 stars. Kamala vs. Bam Bam at Mania IX - change history forever! The unlocked Coliseum Video exclusive. Could someone explain this to me please? Kamala vrs Bam Bam was scheduled for WrestleMania IX. It got cut from the live show and I believe it was a dark match. Further to this, there was a segment on the Coliseum release of Mania IX explaining the absence of the match. I don't recall exactly what it was and it's not on the Collection version I have of the show but spman swears it was an explanation about Kamala being in his native jungle. I thought he was just hanging out with an elephant at Caesars.

What did they change it to?

WWE 24/7 Classics OnDemand General Discussion

So did anyone get the complete Vengeance 2002? With the problem I have with the Big Ones menu I have no way of knowing if I did. -
The real thing to complain about are those lame looking real time prompt controls. It's this crazy nostalgic roster that's making me look past that nonsense to buy a game where I get to listen to Jim Duggan's theme and match Stone Cold Steve Austin against Koko B. Ware as the real main event of WrestleMania XIV.

For the record, I am buying controlling rights in TSM, firing Czech, promoting Kamala and mellow to take over my job, and banning YKRG forever. Edit: bps can get the fuck out too. I'm tired of his anti-Venkman pro-TNA ways.

Probably not, but it's one of the bigger Raw's of 2009, up there with the episode from 3 weeks ago where Vince came back! Tonight, in that very ring - The Undertaker crosses brand lines to take on Randy Orton. But wait, there's more! Ric Flair makes his first appearance on Raw since saying "Woo!" and dialing a phone number in the summer of 2008! What will he have to say to Chris Jericho? This show is also supposed to be building to a PPV, so you know big excitement is on the horizon! Set your DVRs to "WOO!" for this episode. However you would do such a thing.

YKRG is doing a lot of whining in 2009. I am not the only one. Everybody on ignboards, gamefaqs, caws.ws forums are complaining about the roster. This is the one game I was really looking forward to. STOP THE PRESSES! People on gamefaqs are being whiney bitches. Unprecedented.

That same sign was on a Raw around that time too.

Even though I pre-ordered it from Amazon.ca, it's not scheduled to ship until Friday. I assume that, much like the Starrcade set, I'm going to have to end up cancelling it and heading to the mall on Friday to get it from HMV. I really have no SNME nostalgia except for the Flair/Undertaker vs. Sid/Hogan match, but this sounds pretty cool all the same. Edit: Apparently my order for "Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection" for the 360 was the hold-up. Amazon.ca lists that one as "ships in 2-5 weeks". Ok then.

On that same subject, it's clearly not too early to be discussing Season 7 of 24. Ah yes, Will Forte's excellent guest appearance.

Why is Brutus Magnus jobbing already? I thought he was supposed to be a big deal (though why TNA thought a man named BRUTUS MAGNUS who is too green for the TNA style of wrestling would be a good idea for a big push is beyond me).

I'm pretty sure we aren't supposed to think Stephanie was talking to HHH, at least out loud consciously. We're supposed to be thinking she was talking to Shane, but then do the "oh right, it makes sense that it was HHH" when that's the reveal. That's my take anyway. This was a good show in terms of building existing feuds and the PPV on Sunday (the Flair/Jericho segment in particular was very good) so I'm surprised this got such a low turn out, especially compared to last week (but I guess last week was a lot of 'OH NOES, CENA BEAT JERICHO!' nonsense).

Hear that Canadian Guitarist? You're a heterosexual - YOWZERS (as Inspector Gadget would say). That's how I read the thread title. -
Eh... sometimes that can be valid. I watched 2 minutes of "Life on Mars" on Showcase and could not understand a word being said, despite the fact it was English. It was just British English. And why was Obama preempting Sweeps Month TV programming? Some nerve on that guy. Couldn't have done an address during the day, buddy?

That's what sequels are for. I'm surprised they even offer more roster updates - it's a step in the right direction, but when one considers that each year's game is essentially a big roster update, they can't be offering 15 new guys. I also agree with ChrisWMasters that you're taking the game's title a bit too seriously. THQ is using names and likenesses legally available to them - simple as that. However, to justify the title for you, currently the entire roster is made up of WWE Hall of Fame members (all of whom had to sign a Legends deal) or people signed to Legends contracts but not in the HOF. That means that technically, every member of the roster is a WWE Legend, and the entire games takes place at WrestleMania venues, so it's 100% correct. This means that when Legends of WrestleMania 2: The Next Generation comes out in 2010, Sabu is 100% eligible.

I love how I can just look at a small picture of The Rockers entrance and know that the match is from Paris (without reading the description). That crazy Paris entrance set.

All of those above roster photos are now on WWE.com, including no foot Shawn Michaels. http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/legendswrestlemania/roster/

My provider once listed a TNA show as costing $4.99, but they ended up fixing it before the show and I suspect would have charged anyone who pre-ordered full price.

What will be the worst movie of 2009?
DrVenkman PhD replied to Obi Chris Kenobi's topic in Television & Film
It's apparently not connected to the Leah Remini "Fired Up!" TV vehicle from years ago either, so that's pretty misleading. -
I feel your point, but it's still a funny bit.
