100 reasons why Sega is/was stupid.

For some reason, some of my games are unplayable on my DC. MvC2 goes into an eternal load once you pick a team, ditto for NFL Blitz.

I once had it tell me to set my roster by some date in October, but that was obviously a mistake.

How can 3 be the best since 7? This is some backwards math, but it's luke-o.

    Wii

See: Wii Play. I bet the Wii wrestling game will be PS2 SvR2K7, but you can use the nunchuck and wiimote to actually control diva pillow fights! Objection! Those were removed in 2K7. Good joke, though.

Good one. Thanks. I don't know about that other adminbot nonsense though, I was just going for a pun-liner.

I think Canadian Dragon forgot Raw still airs in the US at 9pm. We watch at 2200 hours here, 2GOLD.

Objection. Exhibits A and B: John Dimaggio and Dwight Schultz! Anyhow, on the voice acting front, I have to give ups to Sega / Sonic Team for allowing a Japanese audio version on the localized Sonic Adventure. It was much better that way.

    Final Fantasy VI Advance?

I almost gave a different answer because the other choices are funny, but since there is a high chance I'm getting it I gave a real answer.

Once again, just about everything Dwight said was hilarious. "Text him back to say 'mostly'" (re: Is she [stripper] hot) "I don't care what Jim says, I'm 99% certain that's not really Ben Franklin"

Doubtful. I don't think much research was put into the article, probably because it was just about wrestling. It stated that said conference was today when it's really tomorrow.

From today's local paper: "The news conference is being held to announce Windsor's role in WrestleMania 23 and the events it will sponsor in the week leading up to the big tournament. WrestleMania 23 is the WWE's main championship." I know they probably don't know better, but I still find that funny.

But that's his Friendship! GAME REFERENCE! And yeah, despite it being one of my favourite parts of the film, I can totally see why it would take others right out of the moment.

I also wasn't saying it to be serious, just to be a jerk to people on IRC that promoted badwill towards supporting the industry (to put things in context, this was around 2001 / 2002 and the DC's death was a bit fresher).

Apparently Danny Doring had a titantron video, comprised entirely of the name "Danny Doring" being shown, then some lights, then repeated. It is nice that WWE.com's "Broadband" section now has a quick link to all the titantron videos

I enjoy the first Mortal Kombat movie and apparently tolerate the terribleness of Annihilation to watch that on TV from time to time as well (ditto for Street Fighter).

    WWE 24/7

Excellent! Off topic, Graham's site now has WCW and ECW sections starting up, making it that much more awesome. I submitted WCW house show results, huzzah!

    WWE 24/7

Which program? Anyway, tapout: Yes, it seems the Patera deal is basically true, but the story is being told after he is out of jail (the prison cell is just to set the mood). This is what wikipedia says on the matter: On April 6, 1984, Ken Patera and Masa Saito went to a McDonald's in Waukesha, Wisconsin that had closed for the night. When they were refused service, Patera threw a boulder through the front window. When police showed up at the Holiday Inn where the wrestlers were staying, a brawl broke out between the grapplers and the officers. A short time later, Patera left the AWA for the WWF. In June 1985, Patera was convicted on two counts of battery on a police officer, and one count of criminal damage to property. Saito was convicted on three counts of battery on a police officer, and one count of obstructing a peace officer. Both men were sentenced to two years in prison. Patera's friend and former tag team partner Billy Jack Haynes has a different side to this story. He stated that Patera made a minor threat along the lines of, "Let's hope I don't run into you outside of this place" to the McDonald's employee. Then Haynes went on to say that a female police officer later knocked on the two wrestlers hotel room. When Patera opened the door, the officer maced Saito and Patera without warning, causing a full scale brawl in the hotel which had several officers physically assaulted including the female officer, who suffered a broken nose. This ended the marriage between Patera and his wife. After Patera had served his time, he went back to college at Brigham Young University, where he received a Bachelor's degree. The WWF brought him back to the company in the spring of 1987, airing some vignettes entitled "The Ken Patera Story" chronicling his career and the incident. The WWF did not use the McDonald's name, however, instead opting to say that he broke the window of an unnamed restaurant. To make Patera a babyface, they concocted a story that former manager Bobby Heenan had abandoned him. Patera was in top physical condition and had tremendous heat when he returned to the WWF. Some wrestling publications even speculated that Patera would reunite with Heenan to face Hulk Hogan in the main event of WrestleMania IV. But his push was short lived. In less than a year, Patera was being used to put over younger and newer talent for the company. Re: 24/7 Online. I always check out the monthly listing to see what so-so streaming video I'm missing since losing my account and somehow being unable to get a new one. This is certainly not a month I am missing out on.
