I'll call it WWF first, but I'd prefer to keep on calling it WWеF. I even say WWеF when I talk about wrestling, and I've done so since day one of the name change.. Again, Id like to reitterate that there is no one forcing you to read my posts. If the way I spell things is fucking stupid, then so be it, theres a thing called ignore..theres enough stupidtiy on this board to sink a boat in the dead sea.. The thing is I have no problem with your discussion contributions. You're a-ok, Marv. You just use odd terms that no one likes.

Are you moving the stick, too? The only problem I've had with the controls is that in the last game, I could rarely pull of a possum pin. In this game, I seem to be attempting them by accident all the time (thanks to mashing the buttons to get up + hitting the reversal button), losing a finisher.

Have you ever got so frustrated with a game that you...

This shouldn't really count, but when I was 5 or so I had to take video game timeouts for becoming too angry at Frogger on the Intellivision. -
I don't understand the Undertaker points. The Fantasy Board has been pretty clear that if the ring announcer doesn't say anything, it's a no contest and no win points are awarded, yet Taker got elimination, participation, and win points. I shouldn't complain, I have him.

I was wondering the same thing myself.

I'm following it but I don't really have anything to say. I wanted Tito or Perfect to win. Now, Benoit or Bret, I guess.

Make a WWE = WWE filter.

Sega does what Nintendon't. Growing up, I think I knew ONE person at school that had a SMS, and he was kind of the outsider for not having a NES. I haven't met anyone that's owned one since.

Matt and Jeff are 3 for 3 in being only 1-3 numbers apart, so I expect no less in 2007.

Something tells me the NWA TV champion was not a SNME jobber for Warrior. 'Super Ninja' is a fairly generic handle, I wouldn't be susprised if several wrestlers have used it over the years.

I'm watching Judgment Day 2006 right now - it's weird hearing the music they ended up giving to CM Punk being used as a PPV theme song.

For the record, the last thing I said was not meant to be read in a sarcastic tone, but a statement of fact (that information really would have been helpful in 1989!). I always find it odd to see someone totally destroy a game in a speed-run that I sucked at when I was a kid (ex. Castlevania 2). -

That information would have been handy in 1989, though I suppose I'll play that game in the future on the Wii. -

This guy here... I did not like this guy. -
cabbage, you answered your own question about why Bulldog did what he did - he's retarded in Royal Rumbles. Perhaps his big battle royal win at Lord Albert Hall (which I swear was mentioned on about 50 Coliseum Videos afterwards) gave him the confidence to think his strong clothesline was more than enough to knock Michaels over the top and right to the floor.

WON News + Notes, January 22nd Issue
DrVenkman PhD replied to The Decemberists's topic in The WWE Folder
As I recall, they have sort of "OMG SHE DRESSED LIKE ME ON RAW" woman heat issues. But then again, Matt and Edge worked together. -
Vince was pissed that Bret called WCW an honourable promotion in his return promo, though.
-
Angle calling his match with Hogan from KOTR 2002 5 stars might be the craziest thing he's ever said, and that covers a lot of ground.
-
Yeah, I don't see where the "bad ending" train of thought is coming from. The ending of that match has been shown multiple times in retro flashbacks on WWE TV and for good reason. It's not as if (to me knowledge) that the two foot rule retconned anything previously existing. Even knowing that HBK had to win and there was no chance that Bulldog would be fighting Diesel at Mania, I thought it was executed very well, complete will Bulldog's theme playing as the assumed victor.

Hart Foundation Coliseum Video is good. I had never actually seen any of the Danny Davis saga, just heard about it through commentary and the like, so it was nice to actually see the match they won the tag titles in. There was also a wacky 6 man tag match involving Hart/Neidhart/Honky vs Davey Boy/Tito/JYD. Honky is wearing some stupid looking suspenders.

If anyone missed "Conflict Resolution" or "Initiation" (Beet farm antics!), that's on tonight instead of ER. I believe the episode where Dwight tries to usurp Michael is airing in the regular time slot.
-
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Edit: Odd. So Marvin can say W ! !, but the word swap happens for anyone else? That's just pointless.
-
The tag match is listed on the main Rumble page, but for a time (or possibly still, I didn't check) it did not appear in the "matches" sub-section. Yokozuna has been tossed.
-
Yeah I just noticed WWE.com put Super Crazy in and removed the numbers (I guess so people didn't think that was the entry order).
-
I think you're referring to Safe Auto Insurance. The first manager at the desk had a nameplate that said Bill Lumbergh. That's the one. I missed the first nameplate - even more awesome.
