Future Dwight and the Stanley Tree got some good laughs from me. I was kind of disappointed that, despite previous episodes indicating Michael made a huge sale (albeit while wasting massive amounts of time all day) and showed Josh putting emphasis on Call of Duty over work, they still said "Michael sucks, Josh rules" and it was only Josh f'ing them over (which thankfully got Jim to say Michael would not do that, so he got some kudos) that kept Michael's job / the Scranton branch open. Seriously, Michael wouldn't even have been kept as a salesman? I'm just nitpicking though. I enjoyed the episode. Earl was probably my favourite episode of the season as well.

5 months can't pass soon enough.

I die A LOT in this game, especially considering it took me until (I think, memory may be a bit off) a battle with one of Seymour's forms in FFX to die for the first time - and I'm not exactly the best RPG strategist. I think part of that was I kept insisting on taking the mutant wolf bounty despite the fact I was alone and his 2 wolf companions made the battle quite difficult. When I finally got a second party member, she died and I had 3 enemies attacking me. Fleeing did me no good at all, the enemies just kept attacking me while I looked for a field exit.

"Richard Blood's ex-wife, Bonnie, obtained the rights to the name "Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat" in their divorce settlement. Specifics are not yet known, but Blood has not been identified by that name on WWE television and has not been featured in any sort of prominent on-air role due to this." Well, I know he called himself Ricky Steamboat on 24/7 when doing the introduction for the September 'Pick Your Big One' (The Wrestling Classic).

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, GQ.

So we officially have three elimination matches this year, awesome. I don't see why they don't put Duggan with the legends and have all 5 of the Squad wrestle and/or Eugene, but I guess only the main event matches get 5 on 5. I suspect this match will not be long, and I would not be surprised to see Slaughter get his 2nd "entire team survives" victory (if I'm remembering the 1991 Series right). Funny that FIFTEEN YEARS ago Flair and Piper captained opposing teams and are now, as world tag champions, co-captaining a team together.

That is pretty awesome.

I started playing today after receiving it in the mail yesterday. I feared if I played yesterday before work, I would wander areas aimlessly and/or be caught up in cutscenes when I should be getting ready for work. That probably would have happened since I found myself playing for 3 hours without even realizing it this morning. I like the battle system (so far) but it feels odd at times. At the beginning of the game, my character kept doing nothing when fighting a group of guards, persumably because the enemy I targeted was killed by someone else and I didn't think to target another enemy. I think a better compromise to the real time battles would have been to do it like Earthbound - the enemy is seen and it's not random, but you have a standard menu based fight. Change is good, though, and so far so good. People at work are raving about it too. Having a widescreen option is a nice touch, too.

Eugene/Kenny/Johnny/Tatanka/Striker vs Flair/Piper/Duggan/Slaughter/Sandman - my prediction for tomorrow.
-
The games all run slow with terrible music. Maybe it's just me, though.
-
I can see Eugene/4 Spirit Squad members vs. Flair, Dusty, Piper, Slaughter, and Duggan being announced tomorrow.
-
Old school Survivor Series booking at its best. I am loving it. The 2nd announced match is obviously weaker than the 1st, but I'm a mark for 10 man elimination tags (and Umaga). RVD and Kane teaming again!

The RVD/Sabu ladder match is a questionable entry. I wonder if they'll edit it.

WWE PPV's (especially co-brand tend to have 1-4 main events these days. It's close enough for me, just having Helms associated with a classic elimination match involving the Edge/Orton vs DX feud.

I am lost. The thread title implies there is an upcoming spoiler I should be aware of so I don't accidentally see it on Raw (which I will then watch anyway), and it also notes it should have been started by TSM's Heat recapper HartFan86. The first post is from Sex Machine Gun and has no spoiler. I can't comprehend what evil has taken shape on this board to cause such mass panic. If only Tuxedo Mask didn't retire.

That's kinda awesome. Helms in the main event! Punk teaming with HBK and HHH is kinda funny, too.

The Daily Show/Colbert Report Thread
DrVenkman PhD replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in Television & Film
"Good Noose" was showing restraint, Stephen's headline would have been "Aww, Snap!". Gold. Also, the "vote for republicans so kids don't cry over balloons" was funny stuff. -
Chances are the PPV viewing will be at someone else's house, so I'll get him to do it before they change the price (we were going to get it anyway, but this is a nice surprise).

They got pretty lazy with Bigelow - no tron or music.
-
Fair warning: That review has a spoiler for what sounds like one very odd storyline twist, which you'll either find awfully amusing or just awful.

I'm worried me saying this will somehow cause Cogeco (Ontario cable company) to fix this mistake (assuming it is a mistake), but Genesis is listed as costing $5.

Is that poster supposed to be a take on MK: Armageddon (a WWE sponsor)? Batista looks like the Reiko or Shao Kahn.
-
That is a f'n insane per screen average. I might try going to see the movie at the only theatre in town playing it after work and before meeting my friends for the PPV, but likely I will just go Thursday afternoon on my day off.

I've been re-re-watching Season 2 episodes that I had originally (as in, when I originally bought the DVD - I had seen them before) watched on DVD with the commentary on. Episodes seem to get funnier with every re-watch. I also would like my work place to have a round of Yankee Swap this December, but I can't see anyone going for it.

Wow. Not that I think the PS3 is worth the money but you don't know how to operate an internet connection? It doesn't take much to setup WiFi, and you don't know what Flash Memory is? Yeah, believe it or not I have no idea how to use a piece of equipment or connection type that I've never owned, operated, tested, or used in any way ever (excluding digital camera memory cards). I'm sure I could easily figure it all out, though. I'm not sure why I even mentioned it here - overselling how stupid I am with computers is more of my IRC gimmick. I guess I momentarily got confused since I was just quoting what I was discussing with MisawaGQ via IRC.
