Creed stole the episode again. Plot points I liked: - Kevin, in season 2, was gradually shown to enjoy Michael's sense of humour. He now seems to enjoy others unorthodox aspects of Michael as wel, such as "Movie Monday". - While wasting time, Michael (note: second time in a row I typed "Michaels" - damn wrestling forum) only spends 30 minutes on movie Monday, perhaps realizing more would be a true waste of time. The Stamford manager whose name I forget is shown to just waste everyones time with Call of Duty for long periods of time. Also, the call back to the runner of "Assitant Regional Manager" / "Assitant TO the Regional Manager", when Dwight said it to Michael, was awesome.

Is Parnell gone?

Leaping Lanny Poffo is going boffo! That was funny stuff.

"This season, Todd Grisham has returned to defend his Season 7 WWE Superstar League Championship. However, some of his biggest competition is also back and a newcomer has burst onto the scene as well: Scorpion from Mortal Kombat!" Ok then.... I don't know why I'm doing this, but some possibly helpful hints for week 1: - Despite being taped two days ago and the results being on the net, the ECW show for this Tuesday counts (unless I've messed something up - Fantasy says the ECW show on the 10th is from the same location as Raw on the 9th). - Strip poker is getting specialty points and will probably rank up numerous appearance points for people that cost next to nothing.

1-888-OOPS-JEW is a fully functional number. Give it a ring! -
You know they ARE still in the same match, right? I also didn't really see Lashley and Booker as a "tear down the house" match, or something that could sell a PPV, so this is a good move - though Meltzer hints something is up in his news about it. "We should have an explanation shortly for the change, but when PPV matches are changed at the last minute, it is usually a pretty substantial reason as to why."

Hooray, no more conflict with Corner Gas

Well if they are acknowleding the GM Mode / feuds is "writing storylines" and not being a kayfabed GM booking matches, hopefully you can assign winners now.

I look forward to seeing the MK Plot Guide on GameFAQs once it's revised to include MKA.

Hooray, I attained temporary hero status.

I like the open grave pit but the blood in that one seems silly. Eternal Champions CD deaths.

"Our ratings were AMAZING! Ratings are kind of a hard thing to explain. There are two sets of numbers: the total households that watch a show and the number of people in your targeted demographic that watch a show. One of the most important demographic to advertisers is the 18-34 age range…which happens to be our target demographic. So, those are the ratings where we really need to do well. WE KICKED ASS! They projected we would earn a 3.4 rating in our demographic. We earned a 4.7! These are some of our highest ratings yet. So, thanks for telling your friends!"

Two people I know on IRC determined it could not be done on the demo.

PS2 for me. Even if I had a 360, new controls scare me.

Beakman then. Beakman now.

In the 11 months I've had SvR06, I can't say I've ever played a match with the stamina meter on. That trend looks to continue this fall. Hopefully my PS2 can run this game, but I think I will be replacing the one I have soon. Just not sure when.

I thought I read awhile ago you could use your GC controller for the Wii one. Maybe that was wrong or things changed. Either way I do know that I read a review stating not to worry about the Wiimote.

The first week he knocked out a list item. "Take Joy's side". Right... as I was writing that, I was thinking to myself "but I swear there was a list item about Joy last week", but I couldn't remember. The important thing is they've shown they can do a good episode that has nothing to do with the list, thus giving the show some more longevity.

It was an enjoyable plot based episode. They established Michael is dating Carol, but then again he still thinks he's "dating" Jan so it's possible he's just twice as delusional now (though Michael and Carol dating is pretty likely based on past events). I think my favourite part was Michael doing the talking head about long distance relationships with the Hammermill paper guy chiming in off camera, causing a reveal. I also enjoyed that leading to a rather big aquisition for Michael (it's nice to see him succeed when driven).

I like that they have gone two episodes without doing a number on the list - stretches out the shows premise, works with the characters that have been established.

Kevin Kelly was awesome in the gun segment.

It may or may not be on Cogeco's digital cable preview, too... but I don't think it was. It was essentially NBC's preview but with an extra line about the convention.
