I wonder if the GM search resumes / ends tonight. Meltz had said awhile back it ended because McMahon was having too much fun building to his WM match. With that match done, and you'd think McMahon would sell the beating and not be there, they would need someone to take over as on-camera booker.

Good show, I thought. Watched it at a party hosted by Scott D'amore's bar. During the main event, someone said "this is as boring as an A-1 promo". Scott then brought A-1 into the room and he went into work mode and acted pissed. He then laughed and went back to wherever he and Petey Williams were watching the show. Good times.

3rd in the league, pretty good. I wanted second, but the Carlito/Masters not getting title win points and Benoit not getting title retain points (plus match win points) was a gamble that failed. There's always Season 8 (or as we seem to have retconned it, Season 4).

WWE 24/7 Online Update for April 2006
DrVenkman PhD replied to MillenniumMan831's topic in The WWE Folder
This wasn't on WWE.com when I checked it. Even mnaually typing "April" into the URL did nothing. Interesting. I see they took some matches off Rey's DVD. -
haha... "Sharp Schruters". "DWIGHT and ryan". Awesome stuff. Michael thinking the delivery person was a stripper was pretty good stuff. Gay Oscar doing ice dancing was a nice subtle deal. Over on My Name is Earl, my favourite line was Randy saying "Being a slave might be fun. They get to sing!". That had me laughing.

Triple H: This will be the easiest match of my life! Crowd: Cena sucks! Cena sucks! Tremendous.

this JBL promo at the WM PRess conference is tremendous. In reference to the fact he took a title from Eddie and is about to take one from Benoit: "This is the equivelent of taking a title from Lou Thesz and Harley Race within two years". He then goes on to say he should be on last because no one can follow him... it was really good and did the job of getting me pumped for that US title bout.

"The Rebirth of Fusion!! Gokū and Vegeta (復活のフュージョン!!悟空とベジータ, Fukkatsu no fyūjon!! Gokū to Bejīta?) is the twelvth movie based on the Dragon Ball Z anime. The English title is Fusion Reborn. It was originally released in Japan on March 4, 1995. It will be released to select theaters March 17, 2006, making it the first Dragon Ball movie to be released theatrically in the United States. It is to be released March 28th, 2006 in North American on DVD and VHS." Theatres!? Several years too late for that, I'm afraid. I've been wondering for the past 10 years how the dub was going to handle Hitler. Is that still a big concern to people these days, showing children Hitler and zombies and violence?

No disrespek playa, but how cans it be that this here thread be bein the one and only when there is already bein another thread? Booyakasha.

"Haven't heard anything, but haven't checked on it either. Dave" I'm also not sure why people would buy into this when whatever dirtsite first posted it gave away it was a joke/false. PWI has no story about it and Fantasy players received no e-mails, and no one has any nude Hiroko pictures. Yet here we are, several posts later, discussing it as real news.

Points for Street Fighter reference.

Movie 12 and 13 are the first two I saw, purchased in 1996 from a fansubber outlet at the local mall. I didn't know who anyone was at first but I grew to love them.
-
I don't see this headline anywhere on PWI (and I'm using wrestlingdb, so even a removed headline would still be listed) nor did I get an e-mail from the Fantasy board.

The picture of El Blaze (from VF5) in EGM makes it appear he wears Tajiri's tights.

Mania, with all it's specialty matches on one side and chances for title wins/retention on the other is a difficult show to do a roster pick for.

Anytime they rerun a season 1 episode, it's new to me, and since I live in the past at times I'm pretty sure that is still on of NBC's slogans, so I'm all good. I enjoyed "Earl" last night. Good nostalgia about the y2k thing.

Friend, what are you talking about. On the main page of Helms' MySpace he says "FYI: The only real WWE'ers on MySpace are as follows: Gregory Helms Ashley Massaro John Cena Justin Roberts Kristal Marshall Shannon Moore Stevie Richards" I guess he didn't count The Hardyz because their MySpace is just promotion for their online show. Option #4: Helms' page has changed to reflect the ever growing number of wrestlers with legitimate myspace accounts but I haven't cared enough to check his page to notice. I'll consider myself corrected. Thanks champ (you're going down next season though!)
-
OT, I do enjoy the fictional character myspaces that mix real life with character traits that have been popping up (as in, the ones the cast/characters from The Office have - not to be confused with someone making an account for Steve Urkel, but those are good too).
-
For the billionth time, WWE only wants to induct one dead person at most and that person is Eddie, so the Road Warriors will wait. "It makes sense since the bulk of Perry's NFL career (pun intended)" *Hilarious*, PWI. And this is from someone who thought using his last name to make a column title was gold.
-
It is. John Cena, Gregory Helms, Kristal Marshall, and The Hardy BoyZ have real accounts, too. As do some TNA people. And Ashley writes better than Cena. Are you calling Helms a liar? "Only me, Steven Richards, and ring announcer Justin Roberts are real WWEers". Then he mentions something about The Blue Meanie as an ex-WWEer. Edit: Guess Helms is a liar / doesn't know Ashley had an account / doesn't consider her a WWE wrestler. WWE.com confirmed the contract renewal.

I liked the screen name Michael picked. Dwight was also pretty good.

Reggie is the hip NOA marketing VP that uses profanity and is down with what the kids want today. He usually gives pretty good interviews to EGM.

What the hell is all this talk about tag titles being defended at WrestleMania? Frankly I was surprised they booked a defense for the world tag titles. A WWE tag title defense is something I don't see happening.
