"Christian" is under WWE copyright according to something someone sent to PWInsider.
-
I just hope that Goldust isn't suffering from his post-electrocution disorder anymore.
-
Well near as I can tell, it was supposed to be a short term team with the obvious Eddie turn, but Eddie got too over as a babyface again. Meltzer referred to the post-Series teaming as "movie buddies" (?)
-
I remember his IC title match with Jericho... that was really great and I actually thought Goldust could take it.
-
Woah woah... Vader is ACTUALLY back? I just assumed he was there because he signed a Legends contract and could make paid appearance cameos (like the other Legends). Anyway, I say either give Goldust the IC title or send him to SmackDown! (since his current issue seems to be with Batista). Heel Bookdust vs. the now long term (according to the latest WON) team of Batista/Eddie = money. Maybe.

I guess I was a bit mixed up, but I knew Christian had some role in the "What" invention, even if it was an answering machine. ANyhow I didn't really think the two instances were related but I'm just looking for SOMETHING here. I just can't fathom why WWE would want to jeopardize what they view as their current money match (Hogan/Austin) for the sake of not bringing back JR and putting over Mark Henry.
-
I could be wrong but I believe Austin and Christian are friends (Christian invented "What"). Perhaps that is also a factor? I just assumed Austin would win but they would say "ok you win, so we'll rehire JR... for WWE.com". The fact they wouldn't even bend for that is really confusing, as HTQ said.

Without reading through three pages of this, has anyone even mentioned that outside of Coachman beating Austin due to help from Henry being ridiculous simply because it IS ridiculous, that they were supposed to be building to an Austin vs Hogan match at WM22? Hogan vs the guy that lost his return match to an announcer with help from Mark Henry. Wonder what the status of that match is now.

So.. anyone else get screwed over yet? Rey will turn out to be a solid choice, so far so good. Candice and Trish were given specialty match points for tonight, plus Candice had an extra appearance, and of course they both have points coming to them tomorrow.... money well spent. Then there's the rest... Flair didn't have a match tonight, HHH did. If HHH wins tomorrow, he'll get a whole bunch of points for the week sicne it apparently IS for the IC title. Hopefully Flair wins for my sake. I just got totally screwed over by Austin, although I side with him so realy I got screwed over by Vince being a retard that thought the best way to build Hogan vs Austin was to job Austin to COACH... with help from MARK HENRY. Conway being in a plain old took away some planned points... but he had a Raw match tonight and multiple object shots to make up for his -4 DQ penalty. Kane seems good enough for tag matches and got a lot of points tonight (I imagine), so I probably made the wrong move swapping him out for Cade. We'll see tomorrow. I am also thinking Angle might win the title now and have Cena fight for it at Survivor Series, but I decided to stop doing the "let's put in all possible winners" thing I usually do when I'm not sure and took a chance with only Cena. I think I'll do fine this week... but I just felt I could have done better now. Oh well.

I really hope they show the top 4 teams on Raw tonight. "CM Punk is the Future" is in 4th place. If they acknowledge this at all on TV (they did for the last 2 weeks or so last season), I really it's fouir crazy team names like the above.

Two Stars Suffer Serious Injuries at RAW
DrVenkman PhD replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
From WWE.com: Despite numerous Internet reports to the contrary, the indestructible Kane is still scheduled to compete at Taboo Tuesday. I guess indestrucible zombies can work through back problems. -
Storm's contract ran out in June.
-
I got a TNA name for him... "Ledge". Eh? EH? Come on! You know you want it.
-
So which Christian quit WWE? Shawn Michaels?
-
If they want a talented guy to lose every match while getting over with the fans, call Noble up. Give him a cape and mask, call him Captain Charisma, and have Cole and Tazz pretend it's still Christian. Fake Razor and Diesel reborn!
-
I suppose he could always sit at home and do nothing until WWE decided to offer him a contract he didn't need to read and sign on the spot... but TNA is probably more likely. I'm a bit conflicted as I loved Christian in the WWE but now that I have easy access to TNA, if WWE is going to ignore him being over, let him go. I just hope WWE doesn't own "peeps".
-
I think so too, but we have two Matt Stri(y)kers, and "Christian Cage" did come first. Edit: Damnit, didn't realize the indy guy was in OVW (and thus possibly under WWE's blanket).

Jay Reso Chatholic Jew Reso Chris Chinnery Captain Chris Charisma Chris / Chris Charisma Brother Jay Chris Cage (formerly Christian Cage) Viable options that should not effect WWE's trademarks.

Yeah, right, like Taboo Tuesday voting isn't a fixed outcome already... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> By all accounts last year's vote was totally legit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How so? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Meltzer reported numerous times (as recently as last week in the Observer) that it was legit voting. Somehow this related to Stephanie McMahon being paranoid when the Observer reported it would be HBK/HHH in last year's main event.
-
From Meltzer: Jay Reso's final match in WWE was last night at the TV tapings in Los Angeles. While the WWE web site reported him quitting, which was accurate, what happened was a week ago in San Francisco, he was given a new contract, as his old one expired, and told to sign on the spot. He didn't sign.

I'm hopin' for the Muscle Bustah, myself! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's been in the past 3 (I believe... at least since HCTP) so I see no reason for it not to be here.

That seems like a good thread too... but I skipped it because of the TechTV or G4 or whatever the network is called (I don't get it) stigma of the title and didn't get into it when it started, and now it's exploded within 3 days to the point catching up and commenting will require a lot. I did catch spman's disagreable comments early on about the N64 only having 5 good games and kicked him from an IRC channel in disgust, but I see Andrew picked up the ball and corrected his errors already. Carry on.

Finally I can do the two player EWR with a friend that I won the rights to have first draft pick in a bowling game 2 years ago! GM mode sounds excellent for EWR fans.
-
Oh right, I also had Candice and Trish. I can see Candice winning the title to promote Playboy but I also figure Trish will retain... but it's jsut as likely that Victoria or Mickie will win.

Ugh... it's only been what, three years since they've been bluring the scratch logo and ONLY the scartch logo... and this guy is just noticing now? Anyway that was all fairly predictable in terms of what would and wouldn't be blurred but it's good to know Jesse's commentary was paid for. He also seems confused by the issue of why some are "flippers" when the reason is right in front of him (show length). We can't all be me though.
