I've been reminded of one of my favourite lines that I forgot over time... Dave: "Wait a minute, Joe. If what you're saying is true, then... I still don't care" I must remember to alter that line to remove "Joe" and use it where appropriate in life. Also there seems to be some controversy over the added episode, "Injury", where there existed an unedited version that people saw on A&E with additional usage of the word "penis" at the end of the episode but the version on the DVD is the standard "edited" version that eventually made its way onto NBC after much headache.

I can't stand GameFAQs "e-mail login". If that's the way the future is heading I won't fight it but if the choice of a username still exists then let it be.

The JR/Sid one is on the WWE Funniest Moments release which I'm sure was ripped to the net at some point. Not so much a flubbed line but Randy Orton fell off the turnbuckles while cutting a promo at Bad Blood 2004 and ended up laughing about it on camera. Orton seemed to be fumbling over what to say next when doing a promo with Edge earlier this year though I don't remember the context of it at all. I believe it was the promo that had Edge refer to Orton as a failure. I have no idea what to make of Bulldog's "I'll win the Rumble because I'm BIZAAARRE" promo. Did he mean to say something else?

Dave Nelson's (D. Foley) transformation from Wisconsin / Canadian youngster trying to have a go in big New York City as a news director while having some difficulty with his staff to totally pissed off "I can't stand these people" news director with grey hair starting to appear is a pretty damn awesome 5 year character arc.

Problems with WWE.com Match Jukebox
DrVenkman PhD replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
I've been getting "Error 500" or something along those lines all weekend whenever I try to finish up the month of May. Whenever I try to watch something from June it loads up the WWE.com front page but for now I assume that's because it's not officially posted. -
Biggest gripe - no English sub-titles. Basically, when I watch Simpsons or Futurama on DVD, I like having the hilarious commentary running while sub-titles detail the plot and jokes to me. With this set, I can't really hear any show audio while the commentary track is on and the only sub-tilte option is Portugese. That's pretty weird. However that just means most future viewings will be commentary free and it won't matter... glad I have this, looking forward to Seasons 3 and 4, whenever that may be.

I keep forgetting to mention how cool I thought beginning the opening crawl with the sentence "War!" was. That says it all. -
I appreciate that, thanks. What I was refering to was Dames asked me to come aboard, and I did, and what was supposed to be 1-2 columns a month turned into I think 6 or 7 in what has now been 2 years. Mike - cool... I wasn't being totally serious with my complaint, I just wanted something to say, but it's cool that everything is still a go.
-
I don't like all this fighting and it makes me think my $10 contribution will go uncredited (and it's all about the recognition page when the $165 is fully donated, baby!) since it was Mike's idea and now he's nothing, though I suppose this was a bit more. However Dames gets credit from me for making me care about the board by bringing me on as a columnist (which probably didn't work out as well as either of us had hoped but that happens) and this was probably much better than waiting and saying "Thanks for raising $165 Mike, no get the hell out"

Problems with WWE.com Match Jukebox

Anytime I've had a problem with something I talked to one of WWE.com's live support team and the problem seemed to fix itself without me having to do anything but tell him/her what was happening. -
I'm glad the blindfold was mentioned otherwise I would have assumed this was just the clip I watched 2 years ago and moved along (especially since I, like the others, thought this was about a new game)

Interesting... I had read that the Vader unmasking in ROTJ was totally redone with Hayden but that site says all they did was CGI Sebastian Shaw's face to change his eye colour and remove eyebrows. -
I was going to change my custom title to a NewsRadio quote because I totally forgot it already is one. Amazon shipped it yesterday so hopefully by the week's end but I'm not holding my breath... last year most orders arrived 2 days after shipping but lately it's been taking a week or more. We'll see... it's shipping with Seinfeld Season 4!

Opening space battle -
I'm also assuming an ECW Invasion tonight... led by Bret Hart.

Huh? The girl in the M-Azing commercials? not to threadjack, but how young is that girl? I had a big-ass debate with a friend of mine about that girl being old enough to leer at ... he said yes, and I said no. Most people are saying 10 years old... good lord, I can't even believe this is being discussed. Poor kids coming out to be Heidenreich's friend are going to be talked about for years by the internet fans now.

Hey one of them works in TNA! I had no idea who the other two were or why I was even near any of these people (I guess they're just people too) but apparently the "name" one was getting one of the other guys a gig with Burt Prentince. I also can't believe someone wrote feedback to Meltzer commenting on the little girl's chances of growing up to be hot.
-
I think Meltzer calling the main event "what will go down in history as the best match of either man's career" is a bit out there but I did enjoy it. Of note, while watching the PPV some indy wrestlers joined our table at the bar and had many unkind things to say about the match so maybe while the rest of the world loves it my opinion was brought down by listening to the people around me at bar.
-
Actually they now charge you $2 to have it verified but refund the money.
-
Of note, it will be 2 more weeks until there is a new episode - Episode II is on tonight and NASCAR racing is on next Sunday.

HHH returns and beats up Edge and Batista moments after Edge hits Batista with the briefcase and spears him. This pisses Edge off since he has more proof he should already be World Champion. Of note, they mentioned on TV this morning that Raw was the highest rated episode in a year. That seems like an odd thing to say especially on a WWE Experience. Since no one watches that show (and even I was just channel flipping) I'm sure it means nothing but it would be interesting if it became part of HHH's angle. Can't see Trips agreeing to a "I'm back on Raw now because I'm a jealous heel that's pissed Raw did a better rating with me gone" angle though.

From V-Lo reports I read it sounded like the match was confirmed (or at the very least referenced / built to) last night but still nothing on WWE.com It's very sad that I was looking forward to this PPV a few weeks ago thinking it had 4 winning matches in the CW and Tag title matches, Angle/Booker, and Eddie/Rey. I also think there's the outside chance JBL/Cena could be a good brawl with weapons and such but that remains to be seen. Anyway, since the Angle/Sharmell angle, I've just really lost interest in this show and wondered if I should even bother going out tonight. Hopefully Eddie/Rey makes me happy and Angle/Booker is still a good match regardless of the awful angle it now has going for it... Kurt being pissed off at losing his chance for a title match was good enough.

It is implied at the movie's end (and mentioned earlier in this long thread in regards to original rumours of episodes VII-IX) that R2-D2 never suffers from a memory wipe and knows every event from the saga. -

Anyone play around here yet? Interesting time waster -
I ordered it awhile ago and Amazon will be shipping it with Seinfeld S4 on Tuesday so hooray. Here is an editorial review from Amazon about the set:
