Well based on the video games, I knew Booker's theme could be in question but since they've released several PPV's with it on, this surprises me. I don't remember when RVD started using the Breaking Point theme, but I heard someone mention the old theme was dubbed over on Royal Rumble 2002, but it hasn't been since, so that too is odd. The Flair thing has been happening since Backlash 2002 so no surprise there... and I'm a big fan of his 1992 WWF theme, so I like that.

So wait was the Volkoff thing just a joke that got turned into fact by Meltzer?

What DVD was HIAC on? I pretty much bought the DVD (still waiting.. hurry up Amazon) for that match and the Nash match since I own the rest on either VHS or DVD already. Edit: Oh probably an Undertaker DVD. I refuse to touch those.

I watched up until Zeo, which I find sad because I was probably outside the acceptable viewing age during MMPR's first season, but whatever. I ocassionaly watched "In Space" because the yellow ranger, Tracy Lynn Cruz, was hot. One thing that left me confused was when Jason came back as the Gold Ranger, it seemed to me him and Tommy ended up in some space fighting arena care of the Machine King, but then it just went to Turbo. I suppose I could just check an episode guide to see what happened, though.

I just hope THQ doesn't decide to throw Piper and Hogan into the Legends section. They may not be in WWE now but they were when they started making the game, so I'd prefer that 2 spaces aren't taken up by them. I have a feeling the other Legends will be deceased wrestlers and Bret. (Owen, Andre, Bulldog, Pillman, Perfect, Yokozuna, and maybe Rude).

For those of you who picked Crash in the Termination game, congratulations. "Crash Holly was also been officially terminated by WWE" - WrestlingObserver.com

Yeah so my friends want to go to Henry Ford Museum over in Detroit to watch it on the IMAX screen. Has anyone seen it at an IMAX theatre yet? I'm sorta concerned doing it that big would distort or stretch the picture but the ad assures me it makes it look several times better than it would at a normal theatre.

Ugh, I can't believe I put "Obserer" in the subtitle.

Spider-Man, Matrix Reloaded, and Other Movies have ruined it for everyone else. Not that long ago $60M and $40M were great openings, but now that's almost considered a bomb (assuming the movie in question was hyped).

You have two choices: Have Big Show in the match, or have Angle be pinned in his PPV return. I'd much rather Show be in there with Lesnar/Angle saved for another show.

This was posted yesterday, but looking around the board I didn't see it. Maybe because his writing style at times looks like that of an AOL chat room user, I don't know, but here it is...

I have to side with Random Hero on this. That awful FHM cover a month ago made me wonder what the big deal was even more.

The WWE Contract Termination Game!

I'm still relatively sure it will be America vs Vince with a Mask vs Hair stipulation and Show/Lesnar/Angle (with Show getting pinned by Lesnar, saving Angle from jobbing) at Vengeance. Will Eddie and Tajiri defend the tag belts against O'Haire and Brother Love at Vengeance now?

I had to vote for Raw because it had the potential to be good but I rather play Attitude over that piece of shit any day. While Nitro and Thunder are both terrible, Nitro has some pretty interesting arenas (like the mirror one) and Thunder has a few funny video promos from the wrestler. Both of those things are better than anything in Raw.

Show needs to be in there so someone can job, plain and simple. Neither Kurt nor Brock should be jobbing to each other at this point in time.

I know it wasn't funny.. at all. But much like the urge to make the Sword comment, I couldn't resist. I tried to, but I thought "what the hell?"

REY WAS THE HUMMER DRIVER!!! *crickets chirp*

Well, I was hoping Velocity would confirm someone goofed up on WWE's website and that Zack/Steph vs Show was on SmackDown, freeing up Show for a triple threat main event, saving Angle or Lesnar from having to job.... but no mention of that match was made at all, so I guess it's true and it really is being saved for PPV. Damn.

I just saw the GameCube version commercial with Link as the focus on TNN, and that sold me. I'm a mark for Link, so if/when I get the game, it will most likely be for GameCube (I imagine it's also shinier than the PS2 version. Xbox probably looks the best but I don't have one).

Paul Votsis Will No Longer Be Writing for TSM.
DrVenkman PhD replied to The Dames's topic in Site Feedback
In fairness Justin, I think a lot of the posts after page 1 are off but slightly related to the topic (ie Tom's work appearing elsewhere, my work appearing nowhere else). However, I too didn't have time to read every page, but in skimming that was the idea I picked up. -
That's what I get for only checking the "Last Post" date. Let's make an edit to the above and say "Two WMAC Threads on Top at the same time"... which is pretty easy if the same person posts in both. I need to build a time machine and edit my above post before Mr. Jenkins points out how dumb I am, leaving me unable to edit it in the present. On the actual topic of WMAC, to me, the greatest fight on the show had to be between... two people, I forget how. But one was Hakim The Machine of Mortal Kombat The Movie fame vs. another guy, and they were fighing on the Earthquake ride at Universal Studios, complete with fake, fight disrupting Earthquake that caused them to cease the fight.
-
Wow two WMAC Master's threads at around the same time... better start praying to your faith's higher power, I think that's a sign of impending doom.
-
The last thing I remember was the nWo or whatever WMAC called them stole the Dragon Star belt and replaced it with a Red Dragon, much to the total shock of the WMAC guys who were fighting in the arena. Then some guy.. Tsunami, I think, ended up turning heel when it was revealed he was the one who delivered the belt to the army type guy and Chameleon. Good stuff.

Because God knows THAT doesn't happen often in the IWC.
