This is why I think you should do well in the POTY tournament. Hopefully we get a good voter turnout from the board members that still frequent here.

I'll guess PWI again. How can you guess? Just say where you got it from.

That sign was gold. I also liked Jarrett calling Savage one of the hardest working wrestlers ever.

Have you actually met anyone from the board?
DrVenkman PhD replied to Giuseppe Zangara's topic in No Holds Barred
I heard Dames met Bryan Alvarez at the 2008 HOF (he posts here under the name "Scroby"). -
You best not be hating black people Marvin. I learned via facebook I have some in my family! This is very exciting and perhaps I can get the KOAB demographic back.

It doesn't help that your current name makes people think of Paul's days as StylezMark or whatever it was.

That's the Canadian Sweep guy so I doubt it. On the subject, I swear I saw a grey haired Tino in a Scotiabank ad recently.

WWE 24/7 Classics OnDemand General Discussion

The current policy is to edit matches and promos, but if he is part of a run-in or something they keep it. Sometimes I think they edit his name out of commentary when there is a long silence on Nitro, but that could be advertising a match he's in that is cut from the broadcast. With the 4 Horsemen being disbanded recently, I can't picture Benoit being part of any major run-in beatdowns. It's worth noting, though, that Judgment Day 2006 is in the "Pick Your Big One" line-up for January and WWE.com lists his match with Finlay as part of the card. -
Is it from PWI or F4W? Make up your minds, kids. Anyhow:
-
How do you mean? They always have copies of their DVDs in......maybe because they are doing this big sale on them? Appeared to be like they were marking them down to clear them out... It was a meta-joke about THE BOARD~! on F4W.
-
It's all the same, one just offers more jalapeƱo.
-
All the previous questions and answers above would lead me to believe the answer is yes.

If you read between the lines, Scroby is saying TNA enjoys stealing ideas and making them worse with overbooked stipulations. A fair assessment, Scrobs!

WWE General Discussion - December 2008

I see. Yeah, that is a really stupid feature. Seems like it would do more harm to their attendance than good. Would an extra date or two on that page really hurt? Sometimes when I check for Detroit dates I completely forget to switch to "Canada" to check for London (and now Toronto that I have friends up there or even Windsor now that we have a new arena they could run in). I understand the idea is someone in Italy may not want to scroll through 45 US dates to check if a show is coming to Milan, would it be that hard to make searching by country and optional deal instead of mandatory? -

It's because you need to select "Canada" as the country. I hated it when they switched over to that. -
I've never done 2:22 but I'm a big proponent of :22, :33, ... :99. If something needs more than 1 minute and 39 seconds I just punch in whatever. I used to have the "1 - 6" instant cook settings on a microwave that stopped working a few years ago. The "buy a $30 microwave from Zellers / Wal-Mart that will stop functioning in 2-5 years but gets the job done while it works" has worked out for years. Ditto toaster ovens.

Slayer was an absentee poster for a lot of 2008, but that little bit up there was pretty amazing. Amazing enough for success in the POTY Tourney? We'll find out soon enough!
-
I'd like to keep that one a secret for now. Yeah, remind me not to trust you with any secrets. 6 MINUTES?

Maybe it will end up being a Tribute replay. -
Well you could buy yourself something and call it a gift.

I noticed with the last episode that was, Holiday Hell, and probably the episode on now, ECW shows on 24/7 now have a warning screen advising that the shows are intended for an adult audience. This bodes well.

I believe Shawn says that between "The Heartbreak Kid and Shawn Michaels", there was only room for one of them, heh. I also liked the line about his non-dinosaur friends in WCW that would beat Bret's ass.
-
I'm noticing a pattern where I'm very excited to watch a history making Raw only to realize nothing all that exciting happens. I thought the midget was this week! DX has their theme now, though. The opening segment with Michaels and Shamrock seemed to go on forever, alternating between great due to the crowd hatred for Shawn to pointless and dull. Shamrock's promo cutting ability of just calling people names was pretty funny though.

Raw and SmackDown are both first run shows next week (taped on the same day in Toronto) and then it's back to Monday/Tuesday tapings for the 29th and 30th (which looks like a double SD! taping).
