WWE General Discussion - March 2009

I was wondering the same thing a few months ago when they had HHH cut a promo about them (before revealing he was referring to her necklace). -
Pam's expression seemed to change from smiling to concerned before the end cut, but maybe I was reading too much into that. Enjoyable episode - not a lot of "ha ha" but I still found it funny and overall very interesting / entertaining to watch. I had this weird moment where I wanted to laugh at the Prince Paper callback, then felt genuinely sad that a fictional paper company went out of business.

I need to work the Horsetown / Naysayers line into a conversation.

mikey likes it, he really likes it. -
Like when they ran Poughkeepsie and the like? Yeah, those venues looked like shit. It was depressing. Why didn't they just stick with the Manhattan Center? I'm watching an episode that has the "Wearhouse Arena" look right now and it's from Alexandira Bay, NY.

I do like the March Madness themed Diva photos on WWE.com. -
Eddie falling is cut, though (I assume so anyway, it is on DVD).

Here's WWE.com giving away the best part: -
That's just someone who will go unnamed being a failure. FAILURE. We need Inspector Chang on the case... this is not adding up correctly, even with work shown.

I did not. I knew what I meant. Also, I saw a DVD titled "Vacancy 2" on a store shelf. Those crazy DTV sequels.

I'm putting this thread's alert level at Blackwatch Plaid. What are we, Bix here? -
Even Anne F'ing Frank could see how awful that will end up.

Signs in the arena. I liked them.

I saw ads after the first time I went on line (Future Shop, HVM, Kodoo, and Punisher: War Zone).

I tried running when I was tinkering around at EB but still couldn't do it. I'm sure it's easy, but I was failing. Blockbuster had no copies for rent or buy and I'd like to get it from there if possible; I have $40 in GCs to use there.

Is running still broken in the final version?

THat pre-Mania X7 SmackDown is as boring as I remember, at least up to the point I watched before going to bed (more so due to the fact they smoothly cut the Benoit/Eddie vs. Test/Angle tag match, resulting in there being like, 40+ minutes of segments with a bad APA vs X-Factor match mixed in) but I have to admit, a fun nostalgia trip to the era and I really enjoyed hearing the old SmackDown theme. The opening HHH/Taker segment is brutally long and dull, though... -
The glasses were used to hide his eyes during his first promos (and were given to him by Neidhart) but ended up remaining a part of the character. It was either because he was nervous or was really bloodshot, I forget which. The pink is because, as Bret said at the 2006 HOF, he "just likes pink".
-
Was Hercules supposed to be the Hercules, or just a strong man with a nickname? I thought it was the latter, but there are some promos where he talks about Mount Olympus and such, it's quite bizarre.
-
I have no idea what that even means. Do people routinely create save files on their neighbours PS3?

Thanks. It's funny because the only theme I ever recall Studd using was a different tempo version of what became Duggan's music, so I didn't think they'd use both themes in the same game.
