So, do they not currently archive the house shows and SNME episodes? I don't see them, so I guess I should get a move on before "last month's updates" vanishes. Or use your handy reference thread.

Good thing Arnold was 10 feet away before hand.

I like the idea of a sub-section being created for the drafts, otherwise I feel like I'm participating in something TSM hates. Then again, I moderate the wrestling section, so I guess I'm already there. Dr. Peter Venkman

Maybe my connection is just really good this morning, but the Part 2 of Fink's countdown is the best quality video I've ever watched. No choppiness at all. Edit: Huh, a lot of things are working well now. I tested a Raw when I first got my new PC and it was still a bit choppy and always re-buffering, but now things seem smooth. Hooray!

WWE General Discussion-November 2008

Matt Striker already used "Really now, who throws a shoe?" during the PPV, so I got nothing. -
I don't like how the Edge DVD comes out two days before Christmas. If it came out the 16th, I could add it to my list of "DVDs I can get for Christmas and not pay for". The Essential Starrcade comes out on January 13th.

His pop-ups have been called "HurriPops" as well.

"Here" meaning TSM? Because I think you just described how most things go around here (and God bless TSMers for it).

So now UPS knocks on the door, gets me all excited that this "2nd day delivery" that is now on business day 5 has arrived, but no, it's an item for someone else (that they owe duty on to boot). Damn you shipping times! -
This commercial just makes me sad for Phil Hartman.

Recapping "Survivor Series" in Boston. Featured: John Cena, Triple H. (That's from the guide description - I don't think Cena is featured at all).

I rank IV above III (I really enjoy that movie) and would probably shoehorn Balboa in the middle somewhere.

I think during a Rey or Juvy or Psicosis match in ECW, Joey called Heenan out on being a bad commentator who makes racist jokes. I recall no backlash for that. -

Shipping times. Why would you call something "2nd Day Air" - implying 2 days - if the description for said service says "2 TO 3" business days, then have it take upwards of five days? Get your act together, shipping companies. -
I'm quite late with this but it slipped my mind until some random reminder of it right now. I was amused when Jericho referred to the people as "sycophants" and Michael Cole became outraged that Jericho "called the fans sickos".

It is believed to be the main event and not a dark match.

TNT (and Prime Time) often being pre-empted for theme based specials has also slowed down it's episode airing rate.

I've played it and I recall enjoying it.

I said the wrong name, it was James Cameron that said it. In a 2002 interview, Scott's concept for a story was "to go back to where the alien creatures were first found and explain how they were created", however he has not shown interest in pursuing the project.[33] On learning that Fox intended to pursue Alien vs. Predator, Cameron believed the film would "kill the validity of the franchise" and ceased work on his story, "To me, that was Frankenstein Meets Werewolf. It was Universal just taking their assets and starting to play them off against each other...Milking it."[34] After viewing Alien vs. Predator, however, Cameron remarked that "it was actually pretty good. I think of the five Alien films, I'd rate it third. I actually liked it. I actually liked it a lot."[34]

I thought Czech was just making an Annyong / Annoying wordplay joke. I appreciated it. Is it fair to call Peggy Hill an annoying in the sense that the question is being asked? That would be the equivalent of a thread being started to discuss television characters who worked as bartenders and we all answered Woody or Sam Malone. That's the way the character is intentionally written (I believe there was a whole episode about how Peggy annoyed everyone on some church outing). That said, she is very annoying.

I like the All Time Animated Character draft idea. No shortage of talent in that pool. Of course, most of the board resents drafts these days, but this was good fun. I'm not really up for the episodes one though.
