The Visionaries (Team Batista) vs. The 4x4s (Team Orton) The Million Dollar Team (Team JBL) vs. The Megapowers (Team HBK) The Dream Team (Team Phoenix/Raw) vs. The Rude Brood (Team SmackDown/McCool) Obviously I just re-used those. Here's some real ideas: The Animals vs. The Voices in my Head The Heartbreak Krew vs. Wall Street Blues Raw Energy vs. The Blue Bombers. I don't really like any of those and that's probably a good indication why no team has been named since "Team USA" and "Team Canada" in 1997. (Unless you count The Alliance as a team name).

Jeff Hardy not at all rushed to Emergency Room (WWE.com storyline)

You could say WWE is a victim of their own conceit. Perhaps the architect of their own defeat. Don't they see the writing on the wall? They're in way over their head. Going to drown in the things that they've said. I don't suggest saying any of that though. -
Now that I'm reminded of that episode, I don't think Roy Patterson would have been a bad pick.

Great news for DVD fans everywhere, I guess. I play DVDs unconverted via component cables - obviously not perfect, but is $10 more a movie really worth it? I'm already getting excellent quality in widescreen.

I made unfunny song parodies to give me something to do during a slow time at work. I'm quietly making that 'my thing' (there's a parody of "Dear God" somewhere, I think CBright's "Is it me..." thread about TSM's imminent death).

Oh but see, they're doing it around the anniversary of the death of Eddie Guerrero and everything in wrestling has a double meaning and nothing is a coincidence, so death to the WWE! -
Well, the 5 on 5 matches from 1987 were much better than say, Jerry Lawler and his midgers vs Doink and his midgets. Perhaps that's the comparison. I don't agree with it totally (95 and 96 both have great 4 on 4 matches) but as a one-liner, I thought it was funny.

I remember KOAB's fake title. That was awesome. Then people were all like "TSM HAS TOO MANY PEOPLE WATCHING THE WINDOWS" and that was the end of that.

Just DVR it. -
Everything seems so dumb to me today. This is dumb, Gregory Punk (that's how I keep misreading the name) is dumb, the WWE folder is dumb, and so on. Maybe I'm just having a bad day.

Scroby is that you? -
"The three ten-person matches are all elimination rules, you know, Teams of Five Strive to Survive (which is far superior to some of the bad years where it was Teams of Four end up as a Bore)." From Meltz's preview. I enjoyed the joke.

Jeff Hardy not at all rushed to Emergency Room (WWE.com storyline)

A death is serious business. This is a storyline. I can see where people would get upset but this is not the first time (nor will it be the last) WWE.com has a fictitious news story that no other ACTUAL news sites cover (you have heard of these, right Penguin?). Are people upset because there is an implication he was passed out in a stairwell because of drugs? Ok, fair enough, but nowhere does it say that and I suspect the build here is someone attacked him. I will gladly change my tune if they go on PPV and say "druggie passed out in a hotel but he's cleaned himself up and is spoilin' for a fight!", but until then, I wish KANERULESFAN was here to have some fun with this mess of a thread. -

Only if the people replying to this thread spend money and actually buy the pay-per-view. They have stiff competition from Redemption round these parts. -
Sorry, bob barron has already called it a lame Holocaust movie.

As this is post 55 in a thread about a worked injury (more than the combined spoiler thread and on-air broadcast thread combined had for SmackDown), maybe this is a success for hyping Survivor Series. Remember everyone, Jeff Hardy may be "in the hospital", but we have 3 elimination matches and a casket match on hand! Plus the return of the always controversial John Cena!
