Impact spoilers for this Thursday
DrVenkman PhD replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
Writing Christian off by saying "you're going to a better company" is the stupidest write-off for a character I've ever heard of which leads me to believe he actually is leaving. Any other company, I'd say it was red herring, but not this TV show. -
From the Impact spoilers: . This sort of thing makes you think he's staying in TNA, but you can't discount the fact Impact's booking makes 1999/2000 WCW seem like 2000 WWE.

That makes more sense. I thought you were calling Aero a potential liar. -

People don't lie about that sort of thing on TSM. We're all honest folks and only share the truthiness with one another. -
Yeah, I look forward to it every Monday. Tonight's episode had some nice character continuity to it as well (season 1 established Sheldon's burger of choice - which was a replacement for eating at Big Boy - as well as 'his seat' on the couch).

Hey now I know the rest of the order for the 24/7 special!

As soon as Santino said he was done with the Honk-A-Meter and did the crazy Honk-a-Perfect-Mountie Meter, you knew that was the end of the joke. I had no problem with that since the joke basically ended at Cyber Sunday. Regal made the win seem important too, so good stuff all around. Manu's spear sell was awesome.

Come to think of it, The Rock was the last WCW Champ. They started referring to it as the World Heavyweight Championship the night after Survivor Series. According to WWE.com's title history for the WCW title, Jericho is the final WCW Champ. Yes, please don't bring this up because doing so will make people think the World Heavyweight Championship from 2001 and the World Heavyweight Championship from 2002 are the same belt. That's a no win argument.

WWE General Discussion-November 2008

I had to say that I didn't believe that shit for a second... but sure enough... WWE.com has confirmed it. This is already the greatest WWE PPV of all time. Like WrestleMania III, In Your House 2 and Unforgiven '99 all rolled into one! -
Barney's prayer was top notch. Also, Jack Arnold as Marshall's boss is great.

Split~!

The waiting game sucks, let's play Hungry Hungry Hippos. The only picture I've ever seen of Agent showed him as a skinny lad with a pink shirt. I considered the EHME thing under the "Agent Tribunals" blanket.

From the United Kingdom. Batista demands a heavyweight title rematch with Jericho. (Pro Wrestling)

Raw celebrates it's 800th episode milestone by presenting a three hour tri-branded broadcast. Matches announced: HHH and Shawn Michaels vs. The Miz and John Morrison Chris Jericho vs. Batista © in a Cage Match for the World Title. Also! Randy Orton challenged the McMahon Siblings to show-up and fire Mike Adamle, threatening to quit World Wrestling Entertainment if they did not. What will happen here!?

Yeah, but only at PPVs, which is cool. I don't know if that's a story mode exclusive though. The thing that pisses me off is to get I need to play Undertaker's deal again - or at least to the . A fairly minor thing but I got a huge kick out of putting people on the correct rosters with the right heel / face alignment, including firing Palumbo, London, Cade, Murdoch, etc. to "Free Agent" status. Simple fun but part of an excellent presentation package. Speaking of presentation, I like that they've done two things with the menu screens - added wrestler themes and added a "skip track" option. On the subject of music: I hate Jericho's album theme. Well, it's ok, but he never used it on TV and his actual theme is better. With Kane's theme, I wonder if they didn't bother licencing the track or just threw in his old theme as a last minute deal when he dropped it on TV. If it's the former, it worked out. I suppose I can just change Jericho's theme myself though!

I assumed it was something like that. Are these listed anywhere in the game (outside of the movesets) or is it all guesswork?
-
I actually did the "beat Finlay faster than Santino" deal but got no acknowledgement for it. Maybe because I changed difficulty? I can probably go through the movesets myself when I get home to figure this out, but how do you do an alternate running attack (I think I had this problem last year too but I forget the answer)? Taker not doing his leaping clothesline in a video game seems wrong. I tried all eight possible turnbuckle grapples and none of them did Old School, that seems odd.
-
I don't know, can you? I only made one (then took a screenshot from it). I look forward to making more. Basically, I love plastering large graphics (POW!) on the screen. If you can find it on the video list, it's called "Super Santino".

I agree, but FG had line o the night with Lincoln's neighbour saying "Yeah, I used to have a guy for that. Dick" when Abe told him his lawn needed attention.

The death of Vader.

Lovable loser Kirk Van Houten. Great stuff there. That entire episode with the divorce is great (Marge hiding the Allied Biscuits, I believe the above "Stoner's Pot Palace is from the episode, etc.). Kirk: I sleep in a racecar. Do you sleep in a racecar? Homer: No I sleep in a big bed with my wife. As for my pick, after some soul searching on which of the two potential candidates I had in mind for round 4, I'll go with...: (sorry, this is the best image that came up in the search) The Iron Yuppie! Tonight! Dr. Hillbilly versus the Iron Yuppie in a Texas Deathmatch, where one man will actually be unmasked and killed! In the ring! Homer: I hope they kill that Iron Yuppie.

Funny because Otto was by Gil back-up.

Hooray, my screengrab of Mark Henry looking scared as hell when Santino is about to give him the World's Strongest Slam is currently ranked as #32! Undertaker's story is hilarious. It's the "Magic Wand" story (which was just a dream) times a million. . In the back of my head this concept seems like it may have already been used in 2008, but it's really neat how the commentary often discusses previous storyline elements during your matches.

Otto Mann is part of the best sign gag in the show's history: *Exiting the cookware store known as "Stoner's Pot Palace"* "Man, that is flagrant false advertising!"

Agent Tribunals.
